"No, no. It's okay. It was just so sudden." I said and looked over at him with a smile shaking my head, "and I was thinking about the same thing actually."

"Really?" He asked and I nodded putting my glass down and turning to face him,

"It's been on my mind a while and I didn't know how to bring it up and how you'd react to that." I replied and he sighed shaking his head before cupping my face.

"Never be afraid to speak your mind Kat okay?" I nodded and he smiled, "So does that man know that you'd move in with me?"

"Yeah, I'll move in with you." I murmured and he beamed up at me and leaned forward and captured my lips in a kiss before pulling back but not far as he rested his forehead against mine, "but it won't be for a little while."

"Why? The house looks in good condition. I mean you did invite me over for dinner."

"It's not really a house it's more like a condo and if you notice there's only one room aside from the kitchen and living room," he said.

"Oh. Well, that actually explains why it looks so small compared to other buildings around here." I said making him chuckle.

"Yes, so if we're going to move in together. We need to have enough room for a baby." He replied and I raised a brow.

"Why not buy a new house?" I asked and he hummed.

"I didn't think about that." he muttered making me chuckle and shake my head, "Oh well. The place is getting renovated either way and we can also go look at houses for sale if you want."

"You're something else, Alexander," I muttered and he smirked with a shrug before standing up and walking back to his seat across from me and I shook my head before we continued dinner.

"Things like that make me wonder how he's a CEO," David said with a shake of the head after I had finished telling them the story of how it got to us making the decision to move in together.

"He did say that he was going to sell the house once we get our own place," I said and my siblings and brother-in-law nodded.

"So, for now, he's staying in his office that has a built-in suit. I did tell him he could stay with us at the house but he declined." I replied and they nodded with Maribel saying.

"Doesn't that sound fishy though? Why stay at the office when you can stay at the house?"

"Are you trying to say that he's making up an excuse to be out sleeping around?" I asked and she quickly shook her head but the damage was already done. Now I couldn't stop thinking about Alex only saying that he was at the office for work when, in reality, he'd be out hooking up. And just thinking about that had my heart cracking and tears burning in my eyes.

"Ah, shit. Katt, I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that. For all I know he's actually working and not sleeping around." Maribel said trying to fix her mistake.

"Nice job asshole," David muttered pulling me into his arms and just then a knock at the door alerted us of a visitor before it was being pulled open revealing Alex who instantly had a look of worry and rushed over.

"What's wrong? What happened?" He asked checking me over to see if anything was wrong all the while ignoring my siblings and Adam.

"Are you cheating on me?" I found myself asking making him freeze in his search of a wound or anything that could be wrong.

"What?" He asked confused.

"Are you cheating on me?" I repeated my voice cracking.

"Of course not. Why would you think that?" He asked.

"Because you won't stay with me at my house." I whispered and he sighed running a hand through his hair.

"And you think that just because I'm at the office I use it as an excuse that I'm hooking up with someone is that why you asked if I'm cheating on you?" He questioned and I nodded ignoring the fact that David walked away after hanging up on Maribel and Adam leaving Alex and me alone, "I'm not using my being at the office as an excuse to sleep around. I left that behind me when I got with you and even before we became exclusive. I haven't hooked up with anyone in months and I'm okay with that because the only person I ever want to be with is you. The only reason why I stay at the office is that I don't want to impose on your parents' home. It would be awkward."

"Promise?" I asked and he nodded cupping my face and leaning forward giving me a tender kiss and wiping the tears away.

"I promise but if it makes you feel better, then I'll stay with you," he said and I smiled pulling into my arms and burying my face in his neck as his arms wrapped around me, "you scared the hell out of me when I came in here and saw you crying I thought you were hurt or something happened with the baby."

"Sorry for scaring you like that but I had a good reason to be worried though" I mumbled and he chuckled rubbing his nose against my cheek and making me chuckle.

"Which is not going to happen ever because I'm madly in love with you." he whispered causing my heart to skip a beat.

"Love you too."
