20.1 Alexander

"Oh my gosh, they're having a baby girl." Ella gushed somewhere in the yard before whining.

"Shut up Ella, you're ruining the proposal." Vanessa chastised making Katerina and I chuckle at my sisters.

"Both of you shut up before I throw you both in the pool," John said when the two began arguing and I rolled my eyes before looking back at Katerina to see her smiling.

"As I was saying before my siblings interrupted." I began again hearing the girls exclaim 'hey!' "I love and respect your ambition and compassion, and it makes me want to try harder to be that way myself." I smiled reaching up to wipe the tears from her face, "I fell in love with you the day I saw you. You complete me in every way. I want to share every moment of my life with you, I will take care of you and I will never make you cry. I promise to never leave you alone, I promise to be with you for life. Will you marry me?"

"Yes," She replied nodding her head.

"Yes?" I asked and she nodded with a smile and I grinned placing the rose gold diamond ring on her finger as I pulled her close before kissing her cupped my face as we smiled into the kiss before parting only our foreheads were touching.

"I love you," I whispered as I locked eyes with her and she mailed.

"I love you."

Cheers and claps filled the air as our family walked over to us congratulating us with the girls wanting to see the ring which Katerina was more than happy to show them.

"Congrats man. Told you she would say yes." David said as he patted my shoulder with a grin.

"Thanks, man. And when are you going to pop the question?" I asked and he raised a brow making me roll my eyes, "I know that you and Xander are dating again and have been for a while about as long as Kat and I have been so when are you asking him?"

"We haven't talked about that, we're taking things slow for now since we're reacquainting ourselves with each other again after the whole break-up thing," he replied and I nodded.

"That's good. It's always good to take things slow after everything that's happened between you both in the past," I said and he smiled before excusing himself and going over to the music booth where Xander was standing with Jaylen.

I looked around the sea of faces until I spotted the one I was looking for and made my way over to her.

"Sorry to interrupt ladies but mind if I steal this one from you?" I asked as I took Kat's hand in mine and I looked at our sisters who shook their heads.

"Not at all A," Maribel said and so with that said I led Katrina to the dance floor.

"You look beautiful by the way," I said as I began to sway to the song Still The One by Shawna Twain which was one of Katerina's favorite songs be ga playing in the background and she smiled as a blush covered her cheeks.

"I'm not even dressed up." she pointed out but I shrugged.

"Doesn't mean you don't look stunning, " I said and she smiled laying her head on my chest.

"How long have you been planning this?" She asked.

"A week maybe two. I had help from our siblings and your parents." I said and she hummed nodding.

"I figured something was up when Mar and Hayden suddenly decided we were going shopping today." she chuckled, "but I'm glad that they did though. This is by far the best and most romantic thing anyone's ever done for me."

"This won't be the first or last. I'll spend every waking moment of my life making you feel special even when you're cranky." I murmured kissing the top of her head before looking down when she looked up.

"You're such a cheeseball," she teased with a smile and I smirked, "I love you anyways."

"Good because you're stuck with me for a long long time," I replied before pressing our lips together in a tender kiss before she was back to resting her head on my chest as we swayed to the music floating in the air from the speakers placed all around the yard.

As I said, I'm going to spend every moment of our lives together making her feel special and loved because it's what she deserves. And I'll be damned if my parents try anything to break us up because then they will regret ever messing with me.
