"Okay, is anyone going to tell me what the heck is going on?" I asked exasperated that they weren't saying a word.

"My parents happened," Alex said as he paced the floor while running his fingers through his hair, a habit of his when he's angry or frustrated, and by the looks on his face he was angrier than frustrated.

"What do you mean?"

"His parents got in touch with Mr. Giménez and Miss Rogers and offered them a deal that was apparently better than ours that's why they've been MIA whenever we tried getting in touch with them," David said from behind his desk and I furrowed my brows.

"What? What could they have offered that you two didn't?"I asked confused.

"A cheaper price, a better lot than the one we got them, and a deadline that accommodated them," Alex said when he stopped his pacing, "But the fuckers don't know that my parents don't know shit about construction and will ruin their business in seconds once the building is finished."

"Why would your parents do that though?" I asked.

"To get back at me for defying them. I went against everything they said and did. But fuck them. They don't control me or my actions. They wanted me to break up with you and when I told them my plans on asking you to marry me they were furious." He replied and I bit my lip at his words. So his parents did this just to get back at him for proposing to me, "My parents don't what they just did by stealing our clients from us and vice versa."

"They broke the contract without speaking with you and that's against the law and it can be taken to court for breach of contract," Xander said since he's a lawyer and has been with the company even before he and David first got together and has looked over the contracts we signed with our clients and has told them the legal actions that can be made if either party breaks the contract or fails to fulfill the contract.

"So what then? Are we suing the clients and your parents?" I asked looking at Alex who smirked.

"Hell yeah we are but more importantly, due to the client's breach of contract, the lot that was purchased for their building is now ours along with the blueprints" he replied and I nodded knowing where he was going with that.

"Alex and I will be the co-executive owners of the restaurant that was supposed to be built in the lot we purchased but we'll be buying the rest of the lot which gives us more land than the original plan," David said.

"What are you two planning on building there now?"

"Hotel that has a nightclub, restaurants, shopping malls, gym/spa, and the lot," Alex said and I raised my brows at the reply before nodding.

"When will the construction begin?" I asked, "Wait do you have a blueprint for it already or do you still need to work on it?"

"It won't start until next year we still have to contact the owners of the land surrounding the purchased lot before we even begin anything. And we've already sent the blueprints we had from the clients and told our engineers to add what Alex just told you." David said.

After talking more about the new plan and their plan to sue the clients for breach of contract and Alex's parents for interfering, we bid each other good night and Alex and I went back to our room and chuckled seeing Hayden still sound asleep in our bed.

"What did you two do all day?" Alex asked as he went to the closet to grab the extra mattress in there before putting it beside the bed while I grabbed the extra pillows and blankets before making the bed for him as he objected that I sleep with him on the mattress.

"Watch reruns of Game Of Thrones and movies before passing out" I whispered and he nodded with a smile as he lay on the mattress, "I also wrote the client's emails to know why they aren't replying and now I know why"

"My parents are assholes but soon they're going regret ever crossing me like this." he replied and I nodded as I sighed, "Get some sleep baby, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

And by that, he means tomorrow we are going to be looking at houses after our doctor's appointment.

"Night, love you." I whispered as I got as comfortable as I could with Hayden hogging the blankets.

"Love you too." Alex replied and with that, I let sleep take over and I was once again using the spell of sleep with the soft snores of Hayden filling the room along with Alex's soft breaths.
