"That's good. Have you decided on what you want to major in yet?" he then asked, and Hayden shook his head. "Well, don't stress over it yet. You've still got a while to decide."

"I know, but some of my classmates from high school already know what they want to major in, while I'm still undecided," my little brother replied with a sigh.

"So? I didn't know what I wanted to major in when I was in high school. I jumped from major to major until I settled on studying business," Alex said, making Hayden look at him with admiration and making me smile. "So just take things slow and don't make up your mind too fast about a major that sounds appealing, because it may not be what you want to follow later."

"I will," Hayden replied with a smile that had my husband nodding. "I've actually been looking at some majors, but so far only two of them have interested me."

"What may those be?" I asked, but before he could reply, a waiter walked over to us and gathered our now-empty plates. He let us know that our dessert would be out soon, which had Alex raising a brow since we hadn't ordered anything, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he thanked the young man, who nodded before leaving us alone once more.

"One is interior design, and the other is architecture," Hayden replied.

"Those aren't so bad, and I've seen your artwork; they're beautiful," I said, making him blush. "And have you seen what you've designed for Savannah's nursery? You're incredible!"

"She's right. You've been a great help when we were designing her nursery, and heck, even our room was designed with your help," Alex added, making my brother blush even more at the compliment. "You've got real talent in interior design, H. It would be amazing to see what you can do if you ever follow that career path, or even architecture, as they are both great careers."

"Thanks. I really appreciate that," he whispered, looking up at us with a small smile that fell seconds later. "I only wish Mom and Dad supported me as much as you two have."

"What do you mean?" I asked, and he told us that my parents have been pushing Hayden to either follow in my mother's footsteps and become a model, or follow in our father's footsteps and become a businessman. I could see the turmoil swimming in his eyes as he recounted what our parents had said.

"Just because they want you to follow in their footsteps doesn't mean that you have to, Hayden. You follow what you want, and if they don't support you, then screw them. We're here for you, and I'm sure your other siblings will also support you in whatever career you decide to follow," Alex said.

"I agree, and you know we talked about this the day after Thanksgiving," I said, and he nodded. "So don't listen to what Mom and Dad want you to follow. Follow what you want."

"I guess you're right," he replied with a smile just as the waiter returned, carrying a cake. Alex raised a brow as the waiter wished him a happy Father's Day before leaving us.

"Did you two have something to do with this?" he asked, giving us a look of shock that had Hayden and me nodding.

"Yes, I wanted to return the gesture when you took us out for Mother's Day," I replied, and he shook his head with a chuckle. "I know Father's Day isn't for another two days, but we wanted to take you out earlier since we're going to have a full house on Friday."

"You two are sneaky," he stated, making us grin. "But thank you."

"You're welcome," we replied in unison before we dug into the cake.

And if Alex thought that this was all, he had another thing coming, but he'll just have to wait for Friday. I wonder how he'll react? There's only one way to find out, and that will be on Friday when our families are all gathered at the house to celebrate the fathers in the family.
