Srusti's POV



I came to my room and thankfully no one saw me. My face was absolutely red. Mohit Ji was too much. He always says something and my face starts gaining colour. Why does he speak without thinking??



I took out a sari for me as it was my first day of being married. I thought, it would be appropriate, if I wore a saree. Maa and dadi would be very happy too.



I wore the saree after a quick shower and applied a light shaded lip colour. Wore a pair of my mom's diamond earrings which would match well with my Mangalsutra and applied a small red bindi as well.



I just had to wear some of the bangles and I think the ones I wore yesterday would be fine with them. But they were in his room. So, I went there but the room was empty.



Oh!! Thank God, he must have gone out already. I started wearing my bangles and just then he came back.



Mohit's POV



I went out to meet daadi, mom and dad they all were in the living room. They were pleased to see me.



" Where is Srusti?? " Dadi ma asked.



" She is getting ready. "



" Go and escort her here. You should have come with her. It's her first morning after the wedding. Go get her. " She said and I nodded.



I went to her room but the door was open and she was not there. Where was she? Then I checked my room and l found her standing there in a saree. Her hair was still damp and she looked like a real angel draped in 6 yards of a fine fabric. I could not see her face as her head was bent while she was wearing bangles, but still, something made my heartbeat at a faster pace.



" Bhai, Teri hi biwi hai aise kya dekh raha hai?? Kitni pyari lag rahi hai. Hai na?? ( What are you ogling at, she is your wife only. She is gorgeous, isn't she?? ) " Maya said all of a sudden, I did not realise when she came.



" Hmmm," I said with a smile.



" Uff yeh to gaya kaam se.... Haina Maya?? ( Oh God !! He is besotted. Isn't he Maya? " Viraj said from outside my room as the door was open.



" Nothing like that... I had gone out but dadi told me to bring her with me. So I was waiting for her to get ready. That's it. "



" That's it, Maya... Don't assume things. He was not looking at his wife with his mouth open. He was counting the bangles she was wearing. " Viraj said.



" You both wait outside the room, I would help her. Go out young man " Maya smiled and winked at me.



" Come out before she throws you out. " Viraj said. I went out.



Srusti's POV



I was wearing my last bangle when I heard Maya di's voice and I turned to greet her. Mohit and Jiju were also standing there. She told them to wait outside and closed the door.



" Good morning!! I must say you are looking very pretty. Do you need any help ?? "



" No di, I am ready. " I said and she nodded and when we turned to go out she smiled and asked me to wait. She took me to the dressing area.



" What happened di?? "



" We need to apply some makeup. "



"Makeup? Where?? I applied lip colour and liner. "



" We need to hide this. " She said pointing at a slightly dark spot on the side of my neck.



" What is this?? " I was surprised to see that.



" You tell me?? "



" I don't know... Maybe some mosquito bite. "



" Oh, mosquito bite?? Interesting... this mosquito seems to be very big and strong. " She tried to hide her smile.



What did she mean?



" Let's go to your room, I would hide it with makeup. The stuff I got for you is in your room, right?? " she asked and started going out.



" Good morning, little one. Ready?? Let's go Maya ... I am very hungry. " jiju smiled at me and then said to Di.



" You go Viraj, we need to fix something. " She said.



" What happened?? " Both Mohit Ji and Jiju asked.



" Nothing much, a big and strong mosquito bit on her neck. It left a nasty mark. We are going to cover it."



" What?? " Mohit and Jiju said in unison and jiju looked at Mohit and even Maya di was looking at him. He looked a bit uncomfortable.



What was happening??



" What?? Why are looking at me Viraj?? What can I do in that?? I didn't ask the mosquito to bite her. Go and have breakfast. Mom has prepared a special one. " Mohit said to jiju.



" Naughty one... I mean the mosquito. He is naughty. But you must take care of your wife. How can you let a mosquito kiss on her neck?? " Maya said and Viraj burst out laughing.



Why were they discussing it so much?? It was just a mosquito bite. And what was so funny about it??



We went to my room and di opened the make up box and applied it on the spot.



" Di, why do we need to apply makeup on this. It's just a mosquito... "



" Oh my sweet little girl, it is not that. How can you be so innocent?? It is a hickey, Your husband did that. We need to cover it. It won't look good if the elder ones see it. "



What???? How can this be a hickey? He just helped me and then we slept. In fact, he slept the moment his head touched his pillow.



" What ?? No di... He did not... "



" He did !!



" But he didn't... "



" Ok... If you are getting uncomfortable about it, fine. But it is not an issue. It's normal. "



" No di... "



" That's ok, sweetie. It's normal between a couple. "

We came out of the room and Mohit was standing there waiting for us. He looked at us and Maya di hit him on his head lightly and he chuckled and we all went to the living room.



I took blessings of Maa, Papa and Dadi ma. Maa and Dadi ma took me to their pooja room and I performed a small pooja to seek blessings from God as well to start a new life.



I was again feeling guilty. I was deceiving his parents, but how could I deceive God ?? I asked for forgiveness. I hoped that God would forgive me for all this.



We all settled down to have breakfast together. But kids were not here.



" Di, where are kids??"



" Still sleeping in dadi ma's room. " She said and I smiled and nodded.



Mohit's POV



Everyone looked so happy. Getting married to Srusti was the perfect decision.



Our home looked home again and the smiling faces of my loved ones gave me immense pleasure.



But I could not ignore the elephant in the room. I was ignoring Robin's calls and messages. I had even switched off my phone. But I had to face that issue too. So I went to the garden to relax and switched on the phone.



There were 34 missed calls from Robin and many messages telling me to pick up his call. It was evident that he was getting annoyed. I would have to settle it. As Robin was not going to take it lightly. I have to talk to him face to face.



Just then dad called me, I went inside and dad gave me an envelope. I took and opened it. It contained a honeymoon package for Paris and Switzerland for a month. "



Honeymoon ??? In Paris for a month?? What would we do there??



I was already having a tough time resisting her. We could not go for a honeymoon.



" I am too busy to go right now. " I shook my head.



" Nonsense !! You are going there and this is final. Don't even think to argue about it. You are quite grown up but we are still your parents. If you are too busy you could go for3 weeks. But you are going. No further discussion on this." Dad said authoritatively.



I need to solve this issue before we go on honeymoon.



" But, I need to go to Mumbai urgently. "



" That can wait... "



" No dad, it is really important, I was supposed to go on the day when mom was admitted to the hospital. But I cancelled my trip. But I have to go now. "



" Ok, I would rearrange it. You both can go to Mumbai and take a flight from there. " Viraj said.



" No, I would go there alone as I would be very busy. I would not be able to spend time with her. She would be bored in the hotel. I would be back in a day or two. " I said and dad agreed reluctantly.
