Chapter 57

Nina could understand that perfectly well but it was difficult to be on the same spot not being young. Blaze pleaded with her to be a little more patient as he was putting everything together for what they had discussed about but while he spoke, she only felt like she was a burden and did not want to feel that way anymore.
"Thank you did Blaze, and I appreciate your efforts," she mumbled before thinking about Crystal who was not down yet. Rolling her eyes upstairs and finally getting the guts to ask where she was polite, Blaze told her that she was certainly having her bath, and Gina thinking back to what she had heard last night, a mischievous smile left her lips.
She asked whether she could go meet her upstairs and he nodded with a smile on his face which made Gina understand that he was comfortable with her going to his bedroom. She excused herself before going upstairs to see her beloved Crystal and having so many ideas on how to tease her, Gina climbed the stairs and finally arrives at Blaze's bedroom.
Knocking on the door, everywhere was calm so she thought that she was asleep and knocking even harder, she could not get any sign of her. Gina wondering whether she was still sleeping or in the bathroom, she pushed the door slowly as it was slightly open and scared to death by what she had seen, she screamed out in fear.
Her voice had infiltrated Blaze's ears from downstairs and wondering what might have happened upstairs, he took to his heels in the direction of his room. Nina was devastated and coming back to herself, she called out crystals name thinking that she was dead.
Her body was on the ground while she was unconscious. Nina had approached her in an attempt to wake her up but it was obvious that she was not reacting to anything that was bee done to her.
"Wake up Ms. Crystal, what happened to you?" she asked with tears in her eyes, and Blaze reached his room and found Crystal on the floor, he was shocked to see her in that state.
"What happened?" he raised a question walking toward Gina who told him that she did not know as she had walked inside the room and found her like that on the floor and she was not reacting to anything that she was doing.
"Call the doctor now," he spoke out and Gina without any hesitation, rose to her feet to call the doctor just like he had instructed and Blaze carrying her into his arms took her to the bed before going into the bathroom to get a wet towel to come and put on her head.
The morning was good and Georgia still asleep, she was woken up by the sound of plates falling right inside her dreams. The sounds jerked her from her sleep making her wake up abruptly as though the world was coming to an end. Jumping out of the mattress, she rushed outside the room to see what was going on and saw Simon ridge on the floor trying to pick up the plays that were shattered.
"What happened here?" she asked feeling all worried and catching a glimpse of his had bleeding, she freaked out asking him to stop picking them up.
"I am sorry that I woke you up Georgia, I was making an effort to make breakfast but it turned out badly," he mentioned but Georgia telling him not to say anything further, took him by the hand to the tap where she washed the blood off it.
"You shouldn't be doing all these Simon, don't worry I will take it from here so that you will not get hurt again," she spoke out and Simon gazing at her felt loved, and without being able to hold himself back, he lowered his head before placing a kiss on her lips.
The doctor was already at the Jadiels residence and after cross-examining Crystal, she had regained consciousness wanting to know what had happened to her. Blaze and Gina were worried to the core and inquiring about the course of her passing out, the doctor gazed at Blaze with shiny eyes.
His lips could not wait to give him the news and they were going to decide whether it was going to be a good one for them or not.
"Why are you all looking at me like that and why is the doctor here babe?" she asked feeling all afraid that something was wrong but the doctor replied telling her not to be anxious because there was a good reason for what had happened to her,
"What is it Dr. you are scaring us," Gina, spoke out and the doctor said,
"You are pregnant Ms. Crystal."
The news fell on their ears like thunder and though they both loved themselves, they were not certain whether it was a good time for a baby to pop out.
His heart was filled with joy but yet there was still a feeling of fear because they had an ongoing case with Maxwell which needs to be trashed as soon as possible and having a baby was out of place and could only endanger her life more.
"No I can't be pregnant it's not true," she cried out but Gina looked at her and asked her jot to feel that way, looks at Blaze's face which was also filled with so much confusion, and the doctor seeing the tension on their faces, he let out,
"What is the matter Mr. Jadiel hope everything is well." Blaze thanked him for coming and while he wished a happy day, he told Gina to please accompany the doctor out of the house and smile at him, the doctor instructed that Crystal gets a lot of rest before he walked out of their room.
"No it's not possible babe, how do I take care of this child?" she asked with tears in her eyes, and Blaze seeing how devastated she was, went down on his knees not wanting history to repeat itself and with a calm voice he said,
"I will always be here for you both."
"You don't understand, I am scared Blaze," Crystal mumbled with her gaze lowered to the ground. He could understand perfectly well why she was scared hut again, she needed to be calm as he was not going to let anything or anyone hurt her and their unborn baby. Giving attention to that news, there was a sign of responsibility that had taken over Blazes being without him being able to understand and when that was done, he was feeling all glad to know that there could be something in the world that will make him responsible.
"Did I hear that right? Are we going to have a baby soon?" Gina spoke out from behind, the atmosphere had turned tense with Crystal's gaze meeting Blazes as they both began to stutter on confusion. Gina was do excited after listening to the news and with an excitement that could make anybody feel great, she was looking all happy in her mood with her lips voicing out the names that her mind was already reflecting, Crystal could not hold back the laughter that had formed in her throat. It was very funny and all she needed to do was to get Gina out of that room bit how was she going to achieve that?
"She doesn't want to keep the baby Gina, so please can you help me talk to her?" Blaze spat out with a sorrowful countenance and Crystal seeing how miserable he was looking, he could tell that she was feeling hurt by her answer. "You are the worst Blaise, how could you not tell me about that?. How dare you not?. And to think I'm only hearing about this now. I mean like, What type of person are you?", she said as she sobbed again.
"I'm so sorry Crystal if you will only find a place in your heart to forgive me ", Blaise said as he pleaded with her. He knew that what he had done was not right and he knew she was seriously upset with him.
"Huh sorry!" she says with a disgusted look on her face, "Is that what you say after seriously hurting my feelings", she says as she sobbed pretentiously harder even this time.
"Ok I'll make it up to you, don't cry anymore", Blaise says as he struggles to make her not cry anymore. After Blaise has said those things, she wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at him with a smile.
"Yeah that's right and I'm pretty sure you know exactly what to do, don't you?", crystal says with a grin on her face.
"So dramatic", Blaise says in his mind as he rolls his eyes at her.
"Well, that will depend on anything you want. You know I'm always at your service my dearest Crystal", Blaise says as he smiles gracefully while bowing down his head. Crystal chuckles as it illy amusing sight for her to watch. She just was always going to laugh when he did that. And she knew just the right thing to say to him.
"Well, marry me", Crystal says as she looks at Blaise with a smirk on her face.
Blaise is however surprised as he was not expecting that kind of request from her.
"Huh, are you serious", Blaise says."You know I will not do that", Blaise continues as he looks at her still in shock.
"Well but you have to do it. You will have to marry. Besides, you said just now, that you are always going to be at my service. So most definitely, you'll have to respect my wish", Crystal says as she chuckles again.
Blaise gives her a dead stare which makes to suddenly change her expression.
"Okay, fine you don't have to be rude", she says as she rolls her eyes.
"That was seriously not even funny", Blaise says as he still looks.
She however decides to change the topic.
"So tell me how is school and football? I hope you e been able to balance the two", Crystal asks.
"Well I try, I try. Though it could not be really easy to maintain the perfect grades, perfect football skills, and the perfect face", he says with a smirk on his face. This however irritates Crystal and makes her roll her eyes at him again. He noticed and turns to look at her. "You know I'm not wrong so you don't have to roll your eyes. They might get stock you know", Blaise uttered as he chuckles under his breath.
"Hey kids, over mother calls them to the dining table. They immediately walk over with no hesitation as not to offend his mother.
The dining is occupied with all types of dishes and drinks too. There are each person's favorites on the table. The maid brings in the last dish and then leaves. Everybody serves themselves and eats in delight as they discuss various aspects of their lives.
"So for how long are you planning on staying here?", Blaise father as to Crystal
"Well, not for long. We will be planning on leaving next week", Crystal answered after which he took his glass of water and sipped.
"Well that is so unfortunate", Blaize's father said. "I thought you will be able to stay a little longer for us to bond properly since you know it's been a while we have sat down together like this", He continued.
"Yes, that's so true. But you know, I really will not have much time as I have not planned to stay for that long. Anyways, we can still bond more the next time we come over. Or If you decide to come to visit us in Washington", he said as he looked at Blaize's father, expecting a response.
"They not a bad idea. We most definitely will visit you in Washington. But that's when the football games will be over. You know, Blaise was a formal football captain at his school in those days and they are hosting a competition. He just can not afford not to be there, you know", Gina said as he held his fork and knife to cut a piece of meat from his plate.
"Yeah, that's right. It's okay by me. It's really good that The Young Blaise has some skill. That's good, but I hope he has not forgotten that he has to take over from you", he said.
Blaise coughed as he heard what Gina asked. He was not interested in taking over from his father as he was more firm on his dream as a footballer. He wanted to make it on his own not having to rely on his father's wealth. And even if he still has to rely on his father's wealth, he wanted to make a name for himself, he wanted to be more than just the billionaire's son.
He stared intensely at his dad, just to wait for the response, he did lly know what his father was going to say at that point, but he was very nervous.
"Oh yes, he sure knows that. He is my heir and he is doing his possible best in all his domains. Did I tell you?, He is the best in his class", Blaize's father informed. That was however not a lie. Blaise is good at everything, though he did not brag about it a lot, he sure was very much aware of it.
Gina was a little shocked as he did not expect Blaise to be able to balance his school life and perfect grades with his passion.
"Well that is very much impressive", Gina said. Crystal too was equally shocked as she did not expect that Blaise was saying the actual truth, she thought he was just playing around with her like he always did.
