Chapter 22) Hide and Seek

Maria POV :-
Standing in the middle of the room which were hidden from me but I finally opened that day when I was searching for Dan but that day this room was dark , cold and empty but currently This room is change into something warm , soothing and colourful .
I'm staring at the beautiful picture of Dan's Parents . It was their wedding portrait and I am feeling a connection with them . The way their eyes are shining more than their wedding bands are just make me speechless . I don't know why but this feeling is making me emotional and my Emotions needs him and that stupid Demon is no where to be seen .
He said that he has some important work and left me again . God knows where he went and why I'm unable to get in touch with him . I ask Carlos too but he didn't gave me any satisfactory answer .
I know Danny and Carlos both are hiding something big from me and the wounds I saw on his body last time , is the answers of my every questions but My demon always declined me and my questions . if I try to ask him about his wounds then he changed the topic and trust me it's hurts . After giving myself to him , he still acts like a jerk sometimes
It's been fifteen days now and I badly want to see my parents . I want to meet my father . He got shoot by him but I know if I would take name of my father then he'll go mad and that's why I am planning to go to meet them but firstly I have to handle this Possessive Demon ,
who loves sleep like a pig while clutching my body with his iron grip and I love this side of him too
End Of POV :-
She heard some voices and her traces got broken by the noise . She came out of the room and saw doctors were running here and there . She got alerted and panick rushed into her body .
Dan ... ,, Her heart shattered by an unknown fear and she ran towards the room and found Carlos was speaking on the phone
Carlos ... ,, Maria yelled his name and he stiffened slightly to found her there
Madame ... ,, He replied and Maria stared at him
What's going on here ? Why there are so many doctors ? And Where is Dan ... ,, Maria asked and her heart was pounding frantically inside her chest
Nothing Madame ! There are just here to fill the supplies of medical supplements and Master , He is out of Country ... ,, He said and didn't look into her eyes
Where ? ... ,, Her eyes were searching truth in his eyes but got lies and webs .
India ... ,, He lied and bit his cheeks to punish himself
Oh okay ... ,, She murmured harshly and moved away from him
Her heart wasn't ready to leave the area so she again turned around and found him talking to the Doctors
He is unconcious but he will be fine ... ,, Doctor said in low tone but She heard him correctly
Take Care of him . His past wounds are reopen ... ,, Doctor said and Carlos Nodded his head
Madame ... ,, Carlos saw her standing behind him and her eyes were furious
Carlos ! Where is he ? .... ,, She asked and badly wanted to know the truth
I don't know Madame ... ,, He replied and closed his eyes in pain . Pain for lying to his QUEEN
I'm asking you Carlos Where is your Master ? ... ,, Maria asked him
I can't tell you but he is busy with few important people ... ,, Carlos was standing infront of her and trying to made her understand that Danny was busy
More than me ? ... ,, She snorted and Carlos sighed
No Madame but it's not the right time for you to go there ... ,, Carlos was doing his job but Maria was feeling hurt
What do you mean by this Carlos ? ... ,, She asked softly but look of her face made clear to Carlos that she wasn't happy about his reasoning
Madame ! Master isn't Well and They are with him ... ,, He finally said and Maria just stared at him
Who are they ? ... ,, She asked him and again Carlos tongue were tied up by his duty but he could not ignore his Queen also

What's this ? ... ,, She mumbled and Carlos wanted to ran away from her and her questions

Queen ... ,, Another one said and her eyes stopped at the voice holder
Huh ? ... ,, She looked at her surrounding and found no Queen . Elders of Miller Chuckled at her and she narrowed her eyes at them
We are talking to you My Queen ... ,, The most oldest one said to her
These Old hag and their babbling .... ,, Maria didn't understand why they were talking to her like this and bowing their heads infront of hers
Madame ! ! .... ,, Carlos saw her deep frown and spoke to her
They are the Elders of Miller ... ,, He said and Maria nodded but still confused of all things
Elder ? means ? I mean which ... ,, She whispered to him
I'm the grandFather Of Danny AARON MILLER ... ,, The oldest one heard her and said loudly and stood proudly infront of her
He is the Maternal Uncle of Danny DONATELLO ORSINI and ... ,, Grandfather of Danny Introduced two other men but last one cut him off in the middle
And I'm the First Paternal Uncle of Daniel EZEKIEL MILLER .... ,, The last one spoke to her and She shivered and continuously Blinked her eyes at them to understand the situation but nothing worked at her
Woah ! ! Carlos Tell me why their names are very much like a nuclear bombs ... ,, After listening to them Maria tilted her head and whispered to Carlos

King ? King of Cobra ? Or King of Demon ? ... ,, Maria talked to herself but she was loud enough for them to hear her talk .
Very much same ... ,, They heard and laughed at her words and Maria cheeks heated up
He is inside . You can meet him ... ,, Danny's Maternal Uncle said to her
We are leaving you with the King ... ,, Elders said and they bow down again and left her .
Maria barged into room and found unconcious Danny . Tears formed in her eyes and her mouth was open . She didn't like to see him in all bandages and wounds
What happened to him ? ... ,, She murmured softly and looked directly at his pale face . Danny was looking very weak .
I can't tell you because it's not my place Madame ... ,, Carlos said and covered Danny's body Properly with the duvet
What kind of Game you are playing with me ? Dan .... ,, Maria saw him wrapped in bandages and her heart pierced to found her love in pain
Hide And Seek .... ,, Carlos said who was still in the room looking at his Master who was wounded again
Maria turned around and looked at Carlos . Carlos bowed down his head a little bit and finally spoke
"He is hiding his Pain and Seeking Happiness in you " ....
Carlos Is He really King ? ... ,, She asked and hope for a big NO
Yes Madame ! He is a king and You are the Queen of our kingdom ... ,, He replied to her and she sat beside him and shook her head
After this he left his King And Queen all alone in the room
I'll never forgive you Dan . You are hiding so many things from me . After giving myself to you . You are still behaving like a jerk or you lost your interest in me .... ,, Maria talked to herself and tears welled up in her eyes
