Meeting with the pack
Aiden
"What is our next line of action? J.J Is back, he is stronger, faster than ever before. I don't know if he had gotten his power from somewhere but it was too much force to reckon with." Ellen stated, grimacing.
I had gathered my pack to let them know of the presence of the enemy in town which I didn't need to tell because it was obvious.
The return of J.J yesterday had caused a lot of havoc in the whole of District One.
He had confronted several Omegas yesterday, beating them up to a pulp. They had all managed to escape his bite as it was fatal to us all.
J.J wasn't just any werewolf, he was a true Alpha and had his clan in the East. He was on everyone's blacklist because of his bloodthirsty acts.
"He's stronger because he's been on a killing spree." Sparkles' gaze left the phone she was on momentarily as she observed everyone in the room.
It was a big hall, located inside the castle which my dad had inherited. The castle originally had been here, more than four decades, yet, it feels as if it was built yesterday because every year, it was being renovated.
The hall we were in presently could house more than two hundred people but we were thirteen that were present. However, the pack had fifteen members in total and we were not all werewolves. But, the majority of us were.
"How do you know that, Sparkles?" Liam asked whilst tapping his fingers on the large round table present there.
"People have been going missing for the past few months. What else could have made them?" She inquired.
"There are other creatures in West Vale aside from werewolves, M'lady," Brad, a buff guy with blond hair and onyx eyes grinned as he swaggered into the room. He nodded his greetings to me and shook hands with Jaxon- a dark-haired guy with caramel skin- who was next to him- Both of them were gamma werewolves.
Sparkles narrowed her eyes at him whilst he settled on the sofa, next to Jaxon. What she loathed the most was anyone referring to her as a princess or a lady. Still, only the presence of Brad without him mentioning that often irritates her.
Before he stepped into the room, a scowl had appeared on her face as she knew his scent. I believed Sparkle liked him but she often disagreed with it whenever I asked her. On the other hand, everyone in the room knew that Brad had a soft spot for her.
"No, there are werewolves marks on their skins." She sniped.
"Perhaps, he had been to a witch to strengthen him. I've heard about the powerful witches in the East." Ellen said.
"Witches don't exist," I mumbled.
"But you believed one placed a protective spell on your house yesterday." Ellen pointed out, rolling her eyes. "Least I remind you, Sienna was a witch too."
"Leave her out of this," I growled, stalking towards her.
Sibling bickering was the thing we never quitted since we were young. We still fought with each other, even breaking our bones in the process.
Yet, we made up later which never made sense to anyone but us. The bond between us was strong, be it rivalry or friendship.
"Will you two quit acting like children!" Mother snapped.
Though I was their leader and aside from getting to the position of the Alpha through a bloodline, my abilities by far surpassed theirs. However, meeting with J.J yesterday made me seem less powerful.
"So, he wanted Elena, but why?" Kellen who had been silent since spoke up.
In all of us, he was the quiet one whereas his twin, Liam was a blabbermouth.
"I don't even know. I'm confused as well." It was understandable when Sienna had been chased around until she died and that was because of her fate. Now, the same thing is happening but this time, for no reason.
"You should let her in on what is going on. Perhaps, she might know who J.J was since she just arrived in this town. They might have a history together and you can't keep her indoors forever." Mom reasoned.
The image of J.J and Elena in an affair together almost sent me over the edge until Claire's snide remark snapped out of It.
"Despite me not liking her, I don't want her to die, yet," Claire mumbled the last part whilst grinning.
Her gaze stayed on mine for a few seconds and she winked. I rolled my eyes, glancing away.
"Good thing bitch, your opinion doesn't matter. You should watch your tongue on how you speak here." Sparkles gritted her teeth together.
"Yeah, the last time I checked, I didn't mention your name and I wasn't even referring to you." Claire sassed back, slinging a stay red lockout of her face.
Sparkles cracked her knuckles as she pranced towards Claire. She, however, did the same.
"Girls," Ellen growled whilst holding the girls at arm's length. "How about you do this later?" She proposed, then swivelled to me.
"I just got off the phone with Mark." She exhaled slowly, then continued, "You might need to run home as fast as you can because J.J is headed there. Not only that, I think Elena and Gemma are outside in the gar..."
"Wait..." Ellen said.
I didn't wait to listen to whatever she was going to say anymore as I darted out of the room.
Elena would be the death of me if I didn't put her in check. If she knew the gravity of what she was doing, she would be inside the freaking room I had cautioned her to be in, cowering in fear.
I sped along the highway, then tried to dial Elena's number but it kept on breaking because of the poor network coverage.
The temperature in my car was warm but it did nothing to calm my nerves. My knuckles turned white as I gripped the steering. I glanced around the deserted road- people seldom drove around here because of the rumours about supernatural beings which were true- the trees swayed as the wind whacked them and I sensed the fog was drifting in.
The fog which had been around since last week now didn't look as if it was going anytime soon as it gathered more from wherever it came from.
Lightning struck overhead and my car trembled as thunder resounded in the sky.
"Damn it! Why today out of all days?" I grunted. The sky darkened and the wind started blowing around but I got home in record time before the downpour.
The scent of Elena and Gemma infiltrated my senses and I traced it to the garden.
I panicked as I didn't see them and my body began to tremble. However, not because of the rain, but the thought of what had happened the last time as it flashed in my mind, yet again.
This time around, it was my precious daughter in a pool of her blood and my gorgeous Elena.
I shook the disconcerting thought out of my head as I strode towards the door in my soggy clothes.
"Elena!" I undid the tie that had begun to suffocate me as I went ahead to check the room she slept in the night before. But, it was empty.
"Elena?" No reply still and not even the sound of Gem as I moved towards the basement.
My heart hammered ferociously as another thought of her undergoing torture surfaced in my mind. J.J had vowed to destroy her slowly.
And that he would do if he got hold of her. I twisted the doorknob of Gemma's door, only for it to be locked.
I did the only thought that came to my mind and booted it open. Only then, I did relax.
I let out the breath I didn't realize I was holding as I observed the scene in front of me.
Elena curled up to Gemma in a bed Lucia often used when she was staying over. It warmed my heart as I thought of her finally accepting the role to be my wife and Gemma's mother. Only that way, would my mom stop chasing me about to match me with anyone.
I walked over and squatted next to them. My hand lifted a lock of platinum hair and twirled it around in my finger.
I caressed her pale face and I felt a zap of current run through my finger.
A loud moan slipped out of her parted lips, making me wonder who she was dreaming about as it was obvious someone was pleasuring her.
Gently, I removed Gemma from her embrace and set her in her crib. Elena was now a moaning mess and she was twisting on the bed.
I was about to shake her awake until I heard her moan out my name.
I halted, then glanced at her as she began stroking herself. I squatted in front of her exposed thighs, my groin twitched as the titillating scent of her wetness plagued my thoughts.
All reasoning evaded me as I went ahead to pleasure her. I shouldn't be doing this but I couldn't stop the overwhelming emotion swirling within me.
