Chapter 15 - Announcement

"She went into hiding I guess" Bobby replied
" Let's forget about her even if we see her she will still escape because today is not her end"Xavier mouthed before sighing

" Damn,I was not aware that he is that powerful I wouldn't have killed him"Tasha communicated with the demon in her
"I thought he lost his power as his powerful body and mind is at his father's palace sleeping and he is on Earth with his human body and soul" The demon blurted out trying to figure out the reason.

*** St Jenny Junior high***
The speaker around the school premises was cracking and the person Clearing voice finally spoke up
"Good morning students, How was your night?, It's 11:00 already, All students should come to the Converging hall before 11:15"
All the students hurried down to the hall or else they would be punished If they get there after 11:15.
Scarlett was among the students running when a hand grabbed her left arm dragging her out of the crowd all of a sudden.
Her heart slammed against her chest almost coming out of her mouth, Adrenaline pumped rushly into her heart. The hand dragged her to a corner, making her head turn in a flash and saw the owner of the hand.
"Why did you drag me like that?" Scarlett blurted out angrily
" I'm sorry but I have to do that" June replied
" It's fine just that I almost died out of fear"Scarlett replied
" You are such a fragile girl" June mouthed in a low voice laughing
"Let's go to the Converging hall" Scarlett replied removing her left arm from June's own
"You can't go yet" June yelled grabbing her arm again with a strange look
"Why?" Scarlett asked looking down at her
"Let the students go in first you know Greg as his eye on you already and you won't know ,he can just grab you in that crowd" June stated
" I didn't do anything to him"Scarlett mouthed in fear as she looked around
" This is the reason why he has a eye on you,You get scared easily and with that it will be easy for him to intimidate and manipulate you"June Explained further to her understanding
A awkward silence occurred in their middle as they sensed a strange aura coming closer to where they were standing
"Did you hear that?" Scarlett whispered after hearing a faded groan
"Sssh, Keep quick" June muttered under her breath loud enough for Scarlett to hear as they held each other tightly in fear.
The groan turned into a sharp breathing loud enough for them to hear.
Their heart was beating faster than normal as the breathing got more close to them as they felt their body hairs standing up due to fear.
They feel it's breathing at their neck collar bone with its long finger trailing down their arm.
Scarlett was already peeing on her body as fear overtook her completely,June was trying not to give way for fear to eat her up.
Suddenly a breeze blew sharply and everywhere was silent.
"Is it gone?" June mouthed slowly
"I think so" Scarlett replied,with her eyes looking around like that of an eagle looking for its prey
Jessy was seen from afar running towards them.
"What are you both doing here?" Jessy questioned immediately getting to them
"We were about going to the converging hall" June answered grabbing Scarlett left arm as she walked towards the road to the Converging hall
"You will punished if you pass through that route, Reverend sisters are there"Jessy said them as she was almost caught when she came out of the converging hall as they haven't start the announcement when she noticed the absence of June and Scarlett
"Let's go through another route then" Scarlett advised checking her wristwatch for the time
"It's almost 11:13,If we move faster we will get there in no time....
"Hey,Stop there girls" A voice yelled at them
" We are in trouble"Jessy sanged slowly turning her face following the direction of the voice
"Run!!" June advised and picked race with her legs moving faster than before
The other girls also followed her immediately and the Reverend sisters noticed what was happening and they chased after them immediately.
"Why are they following us?*Scarlett asked meeting up with June
"Let us move faster we are almost getting to the Converging hall" Jessy voiced increasing her speed as she ran like she is walking on space
They ran directly Into the Converging hall causing chill to the students already seated.
"We lost them" one of the reverend sister beamed angrily
"Damn it" Another reverend said hitting her face with her palm

"Where were you girls since?" Emerald questioned looking around whether no one noticed that they just came in
"We had some strange encounter today" June said then proceeded to explain what she and Scarlett saw.
"Wow, I'm speechless" Emerald exclaimed while Jessy just wowed with her mouth open
"Attention students, Attention" Their principal voice spoke up from the speakers at each corner of the hall
The students composed themselves immediately and were eager to listen to the announcement.
"Good morning students,There is an announcement for you all"Their principal proceed further
"What did they want to say?"....
" They should be quick, I'm feeling sleepy"....
" The announcement may be clueless and unreasonable".....
The students murmured which angered the teachers and Reverend sisters in the hall.
"If any voice is heard again,The owner will be punished severely"Their Vice principal said sternly
The students kept shut and the hall was as silent as a graveyard.
"A competition is going to start on Monday.... Their principal stopped and cleared her voice before proceeding
"The competition is between all the students,Each student will be categorized based on somethings"
" This information or announcement is boring"One of the students murmured erupting laughs from the crowd.
"Everyone is dismissed" The speaker went off immediately.
As the students moved out of the hall not giving space for each other causing some of them to fall down and some injured due to the push.
"June!,June!, June" Scarlett stammered and pointed in between the crowd.
