I woke up with a banging headache…
I rubbed the side where it hurts as I sat up from my bed.
I remembered Louis slept on my bed..
But he's gone.
He woke up before me…
I wondered why.
I shut my eyes as the banging headache became excess..
I didn't want to think…
I don't wanna remember anything..
I just wish I'll forget about whatever that happened last night.
I searched for my phone which I later found under the pillow Louis slept on..
I took it and found out it's switched off.
I switched it on and saw mixed calls all from Chima.
My battery wasn't low so who switched off the phone?
Louis, I guess..
Why?
Unread messages came in… All from Chima.
I shut my eyes..
I'm not gonna read them..
He has fooled me for too long..
I opened my eyes and deleted them all without opening any.
My door opened and I looked towards to see Louis coming in… with a tray of mug in a saucer.
He smiled shyly at me then gently walked to the bed and placed the tray on the bed.
Before I forgot, he got his hair ponytailed again, making him appear more cute looking..
And should I say, every clothes I bought for him fits him perfectly good.
He had a black shorts and white shirt on.
'How. Do. You. Feel Aunty Amanda?" He asked.
'You know, I think I'll start beating you for your high rate of stubborness." I said and then carried the tray of tea and placed it on my palm.
'Im. Not. Stubborn Aunty Amanda." He said, pouting that pinky bottom lip again.
Ahh.. Aunty Amanda !!
'When will you understand that I don't want you to be adding ‘Aunty' to my name? Just call me Amanda"
He shook his head..
I made a playful frown.
He grinned and pecked me on the cheek, 'It. Will. Make. You. Feel. Better." He said.
'What?" I asked shocked.
'The tea." He pointed.
Ohh.. I breathed.
I took a sip and it tasted quite sweet.
'Thank you Louis" I said pecking him on the cheeks too.
He went to the extent of making tea for me, believing it would make me feel better.
I picked the spoon beside it on the saucer and stirred the tea then began drinking it as he watched me.
'Hey, sit.. you don't have to stand all day watching me eat." I said.
He shook his head.
I shrugged.
'You can stand then," I said…
But after awhile, he gently sat down on the edge of the bed.
I chuckled.

'Thanks for Last night." I told him minutes later.
He nodded and smiled.
'Im. Here. For. You." He said, suprising me.
'What do you mean by that Louis?" I asked.
He shook his head with a babyish smile..
Then he did a funny thing with a loaf of bread.
He opened two eyes on it… and made a wide smile on it…
Then he stretched it to me.
'Eat. It. You. Will. Smile. Like. It. Try. It." He said and I couldn't help but laugh.
'Stop being a weirdo." I said.
He chuckled..
I like him………
I took a bite from the bread..
I'm having a weird feeling about this baby-guy close to me(I said to myself)
AT THE HOSPITAL
I told Tola everything…
Everything Chima did to me.
I told her about Ada…
About his fake love scam…
She hugged me and said 'It's okay bestie. A better man would come.. That is sure."
'After all I did for that idiot." I cried.
'Let it go.. I just think you should be grateful to God that you finally found out who Chima really is.. A 😈devil in sheep clothing. He never loved you. You can't go to fight him.. You did everything you did because you loved him… You knew he is a cheat. But you felt he would change. A cheat would always be a cheat. I always tell you.. But right now, I'm really happy he's out of your life for good."
I sniffled.
'I'm gonna deal with him. I'm gonna throw his ass out of that house. I bought it for him. I bought that car for him. Everything!" I cried.
'Come on… This is a hospital. Don't shout baby. Don't worry, Don't make any idiot make you cry. You never deserved that bitch. Let it go."
I wiped my tears.
'I'll get over this. I will certainly do right?" I asked, looking at her as she gave me an assuring smile.
'Why not. A better man is on his way for you babe." She said.
I chuckled.
'Who?"
She smiled more, 'I don't know but I believe there is." She said.
I chuckled again and inhaled.
'I couldn't buy the things again yesterday for Louis because of the idiot.. I'll go buy them today." I said.
She smiled happily.
'Wow.. then we go together! It's not so late. She said making a funny look..
'Whatever!"
I laughed.

Now, we finally got home, only to see Chima's car packed outside.
(Wow… such a good opportunity to take the keys from him!)
'Seems an old bitch is around." Tola whispered with a smile.
'I'm getting the keys from him!" I said.
'Good! He's a fool. Fools like him don't worth such an expensive car." Tola scoffed.
I stopped the car beside his and we got down.
He was sitting on the car bonnet with his palms on his cheek…
Like he's frustrated…
Like he's thinking..
Probably how to decieve me with his fake sweet words again.
He's stupid apologies.
He looked up….and he was in tears.
He's crying.
Well, so much like he used to do whenever he comes to me to apologise.
And I'll stupidly fall for his fake tears.
But not anymore.
'Just get the keys and let's get in. We got stuffs to do and celebrate." Tola said loudly so he could hear.
Chima on hearing that, jumped down from the bonnet and instantly went down on his knees in my front.
Tola hissed loudly.
'I'm going to press the doorbell." She said and walked away to the gate.
'Amanda, please don't do this to me. Not after all we shared. I love you Amanda. I'm so sorry, Just give me another chance and I promise not to hurt you in any way. I was stupid. I was a fool to hurt you. Please Amanda, give me another chance. Don't leave me.. I'm begging you." He said, in tears.
I didn't care.
Everything Ada said rang in my head.
Everything he did and the ones he was planning to do.
'How's Ada?" I asked.
'I don't know. She escaped.. She ran after telling all that to you." He said.
'Yeahh.. She ran because she know who you are and what you're capable of…. Obviously, you would have strangled her and murdered her just the same way you strangled my feelings for you… Strangled everything I did for you and murdered my love, my heart which I gave to you!" I fumed.
'And I'm begging you for another chance Amanda, I'm deeply regretting everything. Please Amanda. Don't do this to me. I love –" I cut him short.
'Don't you dare say those words to me. You are nothing but a waste of time. I wasted my all in loving you. Loving the wrong person… Giving him everything, including my body! Thank God for Ada…Or else maybe by this time, I would have been scammed of two million naira by you."
'Amanda, I p—" I still cut him short.
'Well, how about your aunty's health? Has she been cured or the money wasn't still enough? You need another one. Maybe a million naira?" I scoffed.
He shook his head. 'No Amanda.. Nothing like such ever again. I promise I've regretted everything I did." He said.
'Ah, I hope you came with Niece?.. Well, I'm guessing her name is Ada. Your ex-girlfriend who you duped Right?" I laughed.
'Amanda…"He stood up and came to hold me but I pushed him away.
'Don't you ever!" I barked.
Just then, Louis pulled the gate open and came out.
Wow… Why's he looking more cute??
I smiled..
He threw me a thumb up with his two hands.
I smiled more.
Tola stood beside him and was staring at me and Chima.
Her face wasn't looking good at all…
Then she started walking towards us.
I faced Chima with a straight face.
'Give me the keys to that car.." I said.
He gasped.
'Yes. And be fast about it." I said with my palm out.
'Amanda . Baby.. you can't do this. It hasn't gotten to this. We can't break up. We are meant to be together. You cant take the key. Please baby. Just hear me out." He begged, kneeling again.
'I can call the police now.. Are you getting the car keys or not." Tola said.
Louis was beside Tola now.
'I'm. Going. To. Call. My. Friends. They will beat. You. Up. They. Are. Deadly. Very Deadly. See. Them. Over there. Watching. Just. A sign and. They. Are. Here." Louis said, suprising me.
Tola concured with him by nodding.
Chima glanced at him..
Then we all looked over to see three guys.
I arched my eyebrows 'So?"
He stood up.
'Give her the keys.. It's her car. You are wasting our time here!" Tola barked at him.
He looked straight into my eyes, 'Amanda, Are you really breaking up with me? Are you seriously asking me to hand this key back to you?"
'Be fast about it." I said.
He brought out the key from his pocket and I was quick in snatching it out of his hand.
I dashed to the car, got in…. Threw out everything that belong to him..and drove into the house.
Tola drove in my own car.
We left him there standing like a wasted and confused idiot that he is.

'Gosh! I'm so happy you kicked him on his ass. Such an Idiot!" Tola spat as we got down.
Tola and I carried everything we bought for Louis inside with him following behind.

I'm on the couch, a cigarette in one hand and an alcohol in the other hand.
'I've been such an asshole!" I spat as I gulped from the alcohol.
'Amanda was so good… She was the best. Why didn't I fucking realise that? Why was I focused on the money!" I cried.
'Now, she doesn't wanna listen to me! I'm regretting every damn things I've done to her. I'm regretting. I love Amanda so much. I never thought I will. I really want everything to come back to how we were." I cried and gulped another bottle then smoked.
This is what I've been here, sitting and doing for the past one hour now.
Nine empty bottles and I'm on the tenth.
Louis!
Who's really that guy?
Why must it be Amanda that would keep him in her house?
Psycho's are not meant to stay in the house but at the psychiatric hospitals.
Amanda isn't even a psychistrist!
Why should she be keep a psycho in her house..
Could…. Could he be the reason why Amanda is refusing my apologies?
I noticed her smiling at him that night she took my car!
She took the car!
Amanda could never do this to me..
She had caught me so many times cheating on her, I apologise and she accept so easily but…. Everything isn't right anymore.
Amanda said ‘It's over!' and she was damn serious.
'Shit!" I gulped down the alcohol.
What do I just do! I can't loose Amanda
