Seven Dark Forces

[Ramona's POV]

James's mind raced, desperately searching for an escape from this perilous situation. He knew he couldn't defeat the Silver Moon pack on his own. Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the clearing, causing the leaves to swirl around them. He scanned his surroundings but found nothing. Swiftly, he rolled his foot on the ground, causing the wind to form a ball around it. He hurled the wind ball towards them and began to run.

Eleanor scowled, her eyes narrowing in frustration. "Do you truly believe you can oppose us, James? You are insignificant compared to the power of the Silver Moon pack."

The Silver Moon pack has the ability to perform magic and make deadly potions from scropian's poision. This pack possesses a rare and mysterious ancient scorpion bloodline within their bodies. On the other hand, Micheal is the sole descendant of the Silver Moon pack and the future alpha who specializes in martial arts and teleportation magic.

"Chase him, he's running," Micheal shouted. Eleanor as his beta obeyed his command and began running after him.

As they pursued James, they suddenly halted upon hearing a noise. They witnessed a dagger slicing through the air and embedding itself into a tree a few yards away. Micheal glared angrily at the tree and then turned their gaze towards the direction from which the dagger had been thrown.

In the distance, they could make out a figure partially concealed by the thick foliage. The stranger appeared to be observing them, their face hidden beneath a hooded cloak. Oblivious to the danger, James continued running ahead, unaware of the potential threat lurking nearby.

Silently, they advanced towards the spot where the dagger had originated. Micheal's mind raced, attempting to solve the puzzle. Who was this mysterious attacker, and why were they targeting them? The answers eluded them, but they knew they had to confront the danger directly.

As they approached the figure, Micheal's senses heightened. He could feel the tension in the air, the anticipation of an impending confrontation. The stranger turned to face them, revealing piercing eyes that held a combination of anger and malice.

"Jacob Arthur," Eleanor whispered his name. "Why this vampire is chasing us now?" She thought.

Without uttering a word, Jacob lunged forward, drawing another dagger from their cloak. Micheal swiftly unsheathed his own weapon, engaging in a fierce battle of blades.

The clash of steel reverberated through the forest as the three combatants fought with unmatched skill. Micheal's determination burned within him, fueling each of his strikes. He could sense that this encounter was not ordinary; there was something more at stake. Seeing them fight, Eleanor chased after James.

As the fight raged on, Micheal managed to disarm Jacob, sending their dagger flying into the underbrush. With a swift kick, Micheal knocked him to the ground, pinning him down. The hood fell back, revealing an eye covered with a mask.

Breathing heavily, Micheal demanded answers. "Why are you attacking us? We have no affiliation with the Crimson Coven."

Jacob's eyes flickered with a mixture of defiance and desperation. "You don't understand," he whispered. "You cannot lay your hands on that child."

Micheal chuckled, "I believe we should resolve our conflict before dealing with that child."

Jacob's gaze shifted towards James, who had finally run far away, his eyes filled with relief. "She is not who you believe her to be," he said mysteriously. "This time, Seven Dark Forces are at play, beyond your comprehension."

Eleanor chased after james as she raised her hands, her palms emitting a dark radiant light. A burst of energy erupted from her fingertips, creating a smoky nail to attack him. However, he vanished into the shadows of the forest.

Jacob threw a punch, causing Micheal to fall to the ground. He quickly stood up, attempting to grab Jacob, but then he paused and looked up. He saw a massive Kun Peng flying in the sky. The mythical creature seemed to descend gracefully from the heavens, its enormous wings casting a shadow over the land. As it descended, Jacob swiftly leaped over it and flew towards the eastern sea.

The Jacob family possesses the ability to tame the Kun Peng, a colossal beast resembling a hybrid of a bird and a fish. They can live underwater and soar through the air. With a fish-like body, wings, and a bird-like tail, they have four eyes, two on each side, enabling them to see in complete darkness.

Micheal swiftly ran towards Eleanor to assist her. "He was just here, Alpha Micheal. I was chasing him, but now he has vanished?" Eleanor expressed her frustration.

"We must leave this place quickly," Eleanor said, pulling him along.

"No, Eleanor, we must take him away today," Micheal shouted at her. Eleanor held his tightly and vanished in an instant.

They reappeared in a concealed cave, far from the forest. Eleanor surveyed the surroundings, her eyes filled with determination.

"We cannot let him escape with that child," Micheal said, his voice brimming with frustration. "We cannot miss this opportunity."

Eleanor nodded, comprehending the urgency in his words. "I understand, Micheal. But we need a plan. We cannot simply rush into this blindly."

Micheal took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself. "A plan? Do we really need a plan to apprehend james? When did he become this powerful?"

Eleanor placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. Her memory flashed back to the yellow illuminating light through which James had disappeared. That was an immense power that radiated, surpassing anything they had ever seen before. It was evident that the Seven Dark Forces were involved, and they needed to be prepared.

"We underestimated him," Eleanor confessed, her voice filled with regret. "But we cannot dwell on that now. We must focus on finding a way to stop him."

James halted his running and glanced behind him, realizing that no one was chasing him. He looked down at the child in his arms and made his way towards his village. He entered a charming small house nestled in the heart of the village. The house was constructed with weathered wooden planks and had a thatched roof that showed signs of age. Its modest exterior emitted a feeling of warmth and simplicity.

The interior exuded rustic charm. The walls were adorned with faded paintings and family photographs, narrating stories of past generations. The air carried the comforting scent of wood and earth. In one corner of the house, there lay a soft mat woven from straw, carefully placed on the earthen floor. He gently laid the baby he was carrying onto the mat, ensuring their comfort and safety.

The well-used mat provided a simple yet nurturing space for the little one. The room was sparsely furnished, with a few wooden chairs and a low table displaying a teapot and cups. The simplicity of the house reflected the modest lifestyle of the villagers, who found solace in the beauty of simplicity. Moonlight streamed through the small windows, casting a warm glow on the baby and the room.

He switched on the bulb and glanced at the baby under the yellow light. Then he returned to the table and brought out that old book from his long sleeve, opening it to see if anything had changed. It was still empty. His eyes filled with greed as memories flashed back to when he overheard Josh telling one of his juniors about the book.

"Whoever possesses it will have the ability to bring their deepest desires to life on its pages," Josh had said.

"Does anyone else know about this book?" Another person asked in a hushed voice. James tried to see his face, but he was standing in the dark side of the hall, making it impossible to get a clear view.

"Not yet, but the master said the North East coast is in chaos and they are searching for it," Josh replied. "We must find it before it falls into someone else's hands."

"Where can we find it?" the other person inquired.

"When Red Moon pack was killed, they buried the book under a sacred tree in the Forbidden Forest," Josh explained. "Now there is a mysterious aura surrounding that tree, as if the book has found its rightful owner and is trying to reach them."

"Don't worry, senior. I will locate it soon," he assured, bowing respectfully before departing.

James muttered to himself, "Is this the fabled book Josh mentioned? If it truly possesses the ability to bring desires to life, I must proceed with caution."

Suddenly, a noise grabbed his attention. A cup tumbled off the table and shattered. Hastily closing the book, he turned his head to investigate. Irritation welled up within him at this disturbance. As he glanced over, he noticed Seven Dark Forces encircling the child.

Filled with fear, he rose from his seat and cautiously approached the room. The Seven Dark Forces converged around him, while the child extended his hand, attempting to make contact. They seemed to be engaged in a playful interaction, the child smiling at the shadowy figures.

Motivated by a sense of responsibility, he summoned his courage and advanced, determined to shield the child from any malevolent intentions harbored by these ominous forces. With each step, his heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing to devise a strategy to confront this foreboding threat.
