"You are an angel with both good and bad qualities. Every hundred years, angels just like you are born. Your mission is to spread peace throughout the world. You appear to be a very pure being based on what I've observed, yet at the same time, darkness is engulfing you. Never give in to your evil side since doing so could mean the end of all life as we know it "She spoke out.
A angel? I questioned in a daze.
"Yes. That is why your wolf is white; it symbolizes your angelic side. In the entire planet, you are the sole white wolf."
I muttered, "I've never seen my wolf.
"Oh. Allow me to assist you with that "She grinned again as she moved forward. My head began to speak after she touched my forehead.
My wolf was there.
"Now keep in mind Marina, you are no longer with that nasty gang of undesirables. You shouldn't hold yourself responsible for your mother's passing. The sooner you realize this, the more control you'll have over your abilities. I'm wishing you success "She hugged me before leaving.
My eyes slowly open, and when they do, they are warm honey brown and filled with concern.
Oh my God, you scared the living daylights out of me.
shyly grinned.

feel good. In actuality, I felt better than I ever had. felt alive and there was a purpose. felt like it gave my life meaning and purpose, and it did.
My sense of obligation to take care of my mother vanished, like a weight had been removed. have to quit blaming myself for things I failed to do. Never want to be the cause of the end of the world.

discovered quickly was from me. fetal position curled up discomfort. have experienced such agony have no notion what was taking place.
Are you alright, Marina? It was Sophia. I'm sure she can see that I wasn't even close to being ok, so that inquiry must have been rhetorical.
I let out another scream as I rolled off the bed and hit the ground. As the bones in my body violently broke, I stood up on my hands and knees.
Snapping bones and severe pain This must imply that was making its first spin. Even though I had always heard that it hurt, I had never in a million years imagined that it would actually hurt like this.
My bones shifted to make room for my wolf and split. I can feel my skin getting furrier and my nose growing a snout.
It didn't take me long to get up on all fours and tower above Katie, who was terrified. I opened a paw and examined my white fur.
I cocked my head to the side and turned to face Sophia. I complained while sitting on the ground, my tongue hanging out. She cautiously approached me and stroked my fur with her hands. She grinned at me as I made a happy purring sound.
"What's the emergency?" I heard someone asking.
I turned to face the person I had previously seen with my friend. He regarded me in disbelief and had his mouth slightly open. was a large wolf that was about the same height as him as he stood in front of me.
She is stunning, isn't she? said Sophia.
Soon after, another person walked into the room. It was my friend this time. He briefly exhibited some astonishment, but it was fleeting.
My wolf purred with joy as our mate approached as he walked up to me. She was more enthusiastic than I was.
He said, "Everyone, leave" and they all did
POV of Marina
We were now by ourselves in the space. He looked at me intently, examining every detail of my wolf. My wolf retreated when he took a step forward.
Now what?
As I conversed with my wolf in my head, I remarked, "I thought you were eager to meet our partner.
"He betrayed us!" She provided a response huff.
Since I was aware that Stella's earlier comments had hurt us both, I refrained from saying anything further. I'm not sure if what she said was accurate or if she was just attempting to provoke me, but it seemed to be having an effect.
I was astonished when I slapped her at first, but that disbelief soon gave way to anger as I vented my aggravation on her. I believe that I had become weary of people always passing me by and making fun of how pitiful and feeble I was.
In addition to wanting to show my partner that I was not weak, I also wanted to disprove her. I wasn't sure what would happen, but at this point, nothing someone could do to me would be different from what I've already gone through.
Additionally, it was a good thing that the alpha was elsewhere since else, I would already be six feet under. Attacking one of his pack members would almost certainly result in my demise.
I peered.
He appeared to be sad when I looked at him through the eyes of my wolf, but he quickly covered it up with a chilly stare.
He threw a blanket over my wolf and said, "Change" in a firm tone.
I slowly began to revert to my human shape as I could sense the strength emanating from his voice. I was completely covered by the blanket as I laid on the ground. When I turned to look at him, all I saw was his departing form as he left the room.
Sophia quickly returned to the room and seated herself next to me. I sank to the ground in a shaking heap. I wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep because the change had left my body feeling weak and fatigued, so that's exactly what I did.
Bright light was shining on my face when I woke up. On my bed, where I was asleep, I rolled over and moaning.
Wait in bed?
Why did I?
What took place?
I jumped out of bed in a hurry and opened my eyes as my thoughts kept going through scenarios of what might have been. I needed some time to get used to the brightly lighted room due to the open draperies and sunshine coming in through the windows.
I blinked a few times to shake off the slumber and then turned my attention to my surroundings. I took my time to look about the space and was relieved to see that I was in "his" room.
I honestly believed yesterday had never happened. Yesterday's events were so numerous that some people assumed they were dreaming. I simply had no chance of finding my soul partner. The fact that I got into a fight on my first day in this pack, treated a boy, and underwent my first wolf transition still baffled me.
It all seemed bizarre. There was no way any of those things could have occurred.
I heard a voice in my thoughts say, "Ahem."
"Oh, my God!" squealed with joy.
Alana, my wolf, simply rolled her eyes at me for acting like such a brat. But I was powerless to stop. I never imagined I'd run into her again. After she stopped talking to me, I never imagined that I would ever be able to transform into a wolf.
