Sophia came over and stood next to Mrs. Uba and placed her hands on Mrs. Uba's shoulders to show how close they were. "Sue, I've met her a few times. I'm rather confused and surprised how she is now Xenon's wife,I have to say. I mean, just a month ago, she was engaged to Luke Johnson, and she was his private and special assistant, helping to get contracts signed by seducing their potential business partners. Miya still remembered how shocked she was when she first saw the kitchen at Xenon's place, Home for Sol. However, the kitchen was even more impressive.

"I'm a chef. You are my assistant." Sophia said to Miys demandingly.

"Alright." Miya shrugged her shoulders. She didn't really care. "How would you like me to help then?"

"Go and clean your hands first, then prepare the ingredients on the tablè over there."
Miya took a look at the servants behind who stood awkwardly. She understood that this was their job, and Sophia was ordering her around like a servant as if she herself was Xenon's wife instead.

"Why? I guess you only know how to seduce men but know nothing about cooking." Sophia mocked.
Mimicking Sophia's tone, Miya retorted, "l guess you only know how to cook and know nothing about how to love a man." Sophia was so shocked that she lost her tongue.

Sue was stànding by the door, listening."To know how to cook is a great thing. It makes a woman a great wife." Sue looked at Miya. Sophia changed her attitude instantly now that she knew Sue was around. With a warm smile, she said gently, "Sue, thank you. Don't worry, Miya and I can handle it. Dinner will be ready SOon."

"'Sweet girl. Just let me know if you need any help, ok?" Sue spoke affectionately and walked away. The servants remained silent and waited for orders. Sophia looked around and gestured for them to leave. There was only Miya and herself in the kitchen now, and she changed her attitude again.

"You are just a toy my Xenon has. purchased for fun. I'm impressed that you have the guts to come to visit his family as if you are really part of the family!" Sophia mocked with a sneer.

Miya retorted, "His grandpa seems to like you a lot. Surely you know how to please him. If you can please Xenon and get him to divorce me, just do it. I'm curious to know how capable you are."

"l am," Miya said plainly while putting her hand up, the diamond shining brightly under the kitchen light. "It is a shame that he's not wearing one, but at least i've got a ring, and if l ever sell it or give it away, I'm sure plenty of women would fight for it."
