Sensing danger, Clara Ocean was about to take the plunge, but a glance from upstairs forced her to abandon her plan.

Clara Ocean turned her head.

Joy Ocean's hand was stuck in midair, up and down, and there was a palpable panic in her eyes.

"Sister, I..."

Clara Ocean blinked her beautiful eyes. "Are you trying to help me?"

Joy Ocean was stunned, not expecting this question from Clara Ocean. She nodded her head and said, "I think you can't walk easily, so I want to help you back in."

"No, I can do it myself."

Joy Ocean breathes a sigh of relief that Clara Ocean didn't discover her intentions.

Luckily, she didn't find out.

Joy Ocean didn't dare make another move.

In her panic, she didn't see the sneer on Clara Ocean's lips.

An elegant woman was standing at a window on the second floor. She had witnessed the interaction between the two people and had seen Joy Ocean's little movements.

...

"Miss Joy, Madame would like you to come to her room."

As soon as Joy Ocean came in, the servant came forward respectfully to inform her.

Joy Ocean tightened her hand around the music. What did her mother want with her?

Wondering, Joy Ocean went to Duran's room.

There was a crack in the room. Joy Ocean knocked on the door.

"Come on in."

Joy Ocean pushed the door open and saw Duran standing in front of the window. She closed the door. "Mom, what do you want with me?"

Duran turned around with a keen eye that read all her little thoughts.

Her voice was still soft. "Soft, what were you trying to do?"

Joy Ocean's heart suddenly dropped.

From Duran's point of view, you can see her and Clara Ocean, right?

She used to have a little fight with Clara Ocean and she let her go, and this time, she wanted to kill Clara Ocean.

Joy Ocean wasn't sure if Duran would hate her for it.

Joy Ocean looked down, her thin body shaking slightly. "I want to ask my sister something about music theory."

Duran crossed her arms and strode over, knocking Joy Ocean's quibbling straight at her.

"You just put your hand out to push Clara Ocean, didn't you?

Joy Ocean jerked her head up, her pupils constricting. "Mom."

Rather than blame her, Dulan calmly said, "Do you have any idea how stupid you are?"

"First of all, you're not standing in a blind spot. The cameras are picking up your every move. Do you think Clara Ocean had an accident and you could get away with it?"

"It's a good thing this didn't get out. If it did, it would not only shame the Ocean family, but it would have a negative impact on you, and people with even a little bit of prestige would stay away from it."

Joy Ocean's tactics aren't very clever.

Du LAN an analysis, Joy Ocean out of a cold sweat.

Luckily, she hasn't done it yet.

Joy Ocean immediately apologized, saying, "I shouldn't have gotten into that. I know it was wrong."

Duran didn't have the heart to blame her. She put her arm around Joy Ocean and said, "Mom knows you don't like Clara Ocean. I've asked your dad to call Clara Ocean, and she's going to be leaving the house soon, so just bear with it, okay?"

"Does it have to be a rich family?" Joy Ocean asked.

"Of course, if it's not a rich family, or a family of equal stature, then it's meaningless."

They had kept Clara Ocean for twenty years, and surely they should have recouped some of the interest.

Joy Ocean knew that she was marrying Clara Ocean for the benefit of the Ocean family, but she just couldn't bear to let Clara Ocean marry into a rich family.

She did not tell Duran what she thought.

No matter how much Du LAN pampered herself, she still had Ocean family's best interests at heart.

Joy Ocean suddenly changed the subject, "Mom, I don't think we have an outdoor pool at home."

How could she not see through her little thought? She fondly rubbed her hair. "If you like an outdoor pool, Mom will have someone make one for you."

Joy Ocean's eyes widened in disbelief. "Is that OK?"

Duran indulges: "My daughter can have anything she wants."

"That's where I'm going to put the pool."

It was Clara Ocean's rattan chair that Joy Ocean was pointing at, and Duran just glanced at it and nodded, "No problem."

Joy Ocean leaves Duran's room and sees Clara Ocean.

She gives her a defiant look.

What could she have done with all that stuff before?

Soon she won't.

Clara Ocean takes a dim glance at the rampant Joy Ocean. She can tell it with her toes. Duran calls her in to point her out and teach her a clever way to deal with her.

Clara Ocean could never figure out why Duran changed his attitude toward her so quickly.

Even if there is no blood relationship, cats and dogs should bond over the course of 20 years. Why didn't she show any affection for her?

Is it true that the love of the past is false?

...

The next day

Clara Ocean put on elaborate makeup, changed into a long white dress, and her long, silky hair fell like a fairy coming out of a painting.

The queen mother looks at Clara Ocean happily and says, "What a beautiful lady."

Clara Ocean smiled and said, "You're the only one in this family who would think I'm pretty."

Ma Wang sighed. She knew Clara Ocean was in a difficult situation in this house, but as a servant, she could do nothing but love dearly.

Clara Ocean asked, "Ma 'am, has Joy gone out?"

"Just a little while ago."

Joy Ocean was dressed to the nines when she stepped out.

Clara Ocean nods and leaves.

Duran knows she has a date with Aaron Willo, so she keeps the driver and the car for her.

Twenty minutes later, Clara Ocean shows up at the Wings.

She gets a lot of amazing looks as soon as she shows up, but a bit of a pity when her crutches fall under her armpit.

Such a beautiful girl should be lame.

Clara Ocean didn't care about the stares and the criticism. She saw Aaron Willo sitting in the corner.

And of course, she saw Joy Ocean not far away.

A faint smile rose's lips.

It's going to be fun.

Aaron Willo saw Clara Ocean, too.

Clara Ocean was beautiful when she was a child, but when she grew up, she was beautiful.

Unfortunately, her background is not satisfactory, otherwise he really wanted to marry her.

Clara Ocean hid the hate in her eyes, smiled sweetly and said, "Brother Aaron."

She walked eagerly with her cane.

Suddenly, the sound of Joy Ocean rang out.

"Sister?

Clara Ocean looks over and sees Joy Ocean running over and cuddly taking Clara Ocean's arm. "What a coincidence, you're here for coffee."

Clara Ocean tried to stifle a sneer. Hadn't she camped out here yesterday because she'd heard her tell-all?
