Epilogue
Isabella POV
Life has always been a roller coaster ride for me. From my mother's death to the stepmother, from having a father to no one, from being Xavier's Secretary to his girlfriend and mother to his child, from my daughter's death to her new of being alive, every phase taught lessons to my life.
Today I got to hold my daughter for the first time after her birth. She was alive yet unknown to everybody. She was traded by John Travis right after she was taken by him but when I was shot instead of Xavier that scum bag took her back and blackmailed Xavier.
Thanks to that kind couple who bought my child reported to the police after finding him suspicious. My baby stayed in that cold warehouse for almost two days without any care. I feel helpless even thinking about it. He must be some devil reincarnated.
I still feel something bad has happened to Alexia as she is not around. I asked Xavier about her but he only replied with police are taking care of it. What should I get from his statement? Is she alright? Even though she has done many bad things to me but if she would not have freed Xavier, we would not be together. After all, she did all to get her love.
I can't even blame Xavier for being irresponsible about his ex-wife, right now he is more concerned about his new family that includes me, Oliva, Papa Renold, Mama Rein and him. Thank god he mended his conflict with Mama Rein, I could always feel her love Xavier. She even cried when her son was mourning for his love and daughter. She was devasted after hearing about Oliva and when she saw her condition, she broke down. She is such a soft-hearted woman sometimes I feel Hunt family must have done some good deeds to get her as the woman of their family.
Just then Olivia moved changing her position on my lap. I cooed her to sleep again and she instantly stopped her movement. She had IV fluid injected in her small wrist making her wince time to time as she moves. She must be as brave as her mother to resist such pain. I kissed her lightly on her temples assuring her security. She might have frightened as hell in the last few days.
"How are my Princesses doing?" Xavier came inside the room and pecked both of us.
"Your princesses are doing fine thank you." I smiled.
"Love Olivia's foster parents are here to meet her." He announced. I nodded.
"Hello, My name is Jenifer Wales and he is my husband Ronald Wales. How is she?" The lady asked as she entered the room.
"Doctors are running vitals on her. Hope she recovers. "I smiled.
"She will. She is a brave girl." She smiled sadly. "I'm so sorry we took your daughter but if we knew her parents were tricked and taken away we would have contacted police ourselves to give her back to you." She shed tears.
"It's not your fault Mrs. Wales, you too were tricked. The only culprit here is John Travis and he will surely pay for it." I assured her.
"We have also come here to give you some information that might help you to find him." Ronald said.
"What kind of information?" I asked.
"I met John Travis at Las Vegas, I was there celebrating our third anniversary and he was there gambling. Because of the amount of alcohol I took, I confessed my situation of being sterile my wish to become a father. Then some weeks later he called me telling he found a baby at a park. After hearing about the baby I immediately jumped into the conclusion to adopt her.
Later he asked me a huge amount of money as he had to pay off his debt. I was hesitant to provide him any money because I knew his gambling habit but he gave me my biggest happiness, a daughter so I pushed every thought aside and helped him. Few days before he took our baby girl with him, he came to our house to stay, there I listened to him speaking with someone. He was speaking in the Mexican language and with his sound, he seemed annoyed and stressed. He said he was coming soon there soon."
"Do you think he might leave for Mexico then?" Xavier asked.
"I can't guarantee you but we can always try." He answered.
"He would not have left any port by now, I will ask officers to check the ports." Xavier dialed his number.
"Yeah, he cannot run away to the coast so soon. We have to find him." Jenifer agreed.
"Thank you for helping us." I thanked them sincerely.
"You don't have to thank us, we are doing this for our baby girl too." She smiled.
"What have you named her?" I asked.
"Rose." She eyed Oliva with love.
"You chose a wonderful name." I smiled.
"She is a wonderful girl. Take care of her." She was full of tears.
"We will but she is your daughter too. You took care of her for six months. She might truly feel you are her mother." I said to her."You can always visit her, I won't stop you." I assured and she nodded.
*****
"They found John Travis." Xavier announced as he cut the call. "He was boarding to Mexico. Police have asked me to come to the police station." Xavier rushed t gather his coat and car keys.
"I'm coming with you." I said.
"No, you are not. Please take care of yourself and Olivia until I come. alright?" He kissed on my forehead. I nodded.
"Will you please ask him about Alexia. I know she is missing out?" I asked Xavier.
"I will. Please don't stress alot." He shook my shoulder before leaving.
Not much long after Xavier's leave, the doorbell rang. But before I could approach the door with Olivia on my arms, Mama Rein opened the front door.
"Hello. What can I help you with?" She asked.
"I want to talk with Isabella." I heard the most familiar voice. Why is he here afterall?
"Who are you I might ask?" She asked politely.
"Her... father." His voice trembled.
" You are her father? What do you want from my daughter afterall? Haven't you and your wife had enough of her? I can't allow you to talk with her."She spoke harshly and tried closing the door.
"Please, I have to talk to her. I have to apologize to her for all my deeds and confess how pathetic father I am to her." He sounded helpless.
I ran to the doors and saw him trembling on feet with tears on his eyes.
"Dad." I whispered.
"Isabella..." I muttered looking at me. "Please let me talk to you just for a minute." He pleaded joining his hands.
"Let him come, Mama." I asked Mama Rein. She let him in but not before glaring him with killing eyes.
"What do you want now dad? Is it another marriage scheme or your wife made?" I gritted my teeth.
"I know I did wrong to you baby girl but I came here to apologize to you." He said.
"Why now dad? WHere were you when my mother died? Where were you when I wanted a father figure to guide me? Where were you at my parent's meeting, my annual function, my birthdays, my graduation day? Where were you when I slept empty stomach at cold storeroom or when your wife and her daughters beat and bruised me? Where were you?" I started crying hysterically cursing his presence now.
"I'm sorry dear, I truly am but please hear me out once." I sobbed. "Olivia was my first love, my childhood crush and my wife. I was devastated when she had an accident and she died. That evening it was raining heavily and you were at playschool. I was in my office stuck in my work and insisted her not to go out of the house but she went to pick you up. Later that evening she met with the accident." He sobbed again.
"And you blamed for that stupid thing?" I shouted.
"I did not. I neglected to look after you but I never blamed you." He voiced.
"You do. Somewhere inside your heart, you do even if you say you do not. I am your daughter dad, I am part of your wife and you. How could you do that to me?" I cried.
"I was fooled by Julia all the time. She brainwashed me against you, that bitch was nothing but money shark." He yelled.
"How did you get your brain back then?" I chuckled.
"She left me." He gritted his teeth.
"What?" I looked at him in disbelief.
"When you did not agree to marry Muller, he backed out from merger. I was already on the verge of insolvency but sooner than me he lost his company. Later the auditor found out about the corruption Julia was doing with my finance manager. I could not believe myself that I trusted such a person. I trusted her and not my own blood and now I am paying for it." He cried bitterly. "I am sorry Isabella. I am so sorry for everything."
"Ths will be your punishment dad, you have to live rest of your life in guilt. I know your pleads are true and you are apologetic but I am not ready to accept any of these dad." He nodded understanding his defeat.
"Is this your daughter?" He asked me looking at Olivia.
"Yeah." I replied.
"She is just like your mother." He smiled sadly.
"Yes, even her name is Olivia." I answered.
"Can I carry her once?" He requested and I nodded giving him his granddaughter".
"Olivia..." He kissed her lightly. "I am your grandfather honey and I love you so much." His tears fell on Olivia's cheek.
I was mesmerized by this site and truly as much as I wanted to punish my father of all his deeds my heart was not accepting it. He was in love with his wife and Julia was the one who comforted him. He would surely listen to her more than his wife's murderer as his mind defines. If I did the mistake of keeping the grudge about my father then I could lose the remaining moment we could spend together.
"Dad.." I whispered making him turn towards me. "I forgive you." He immediately engulfed me into the embrace.
"You are Olivia's daughter baby, You have it in your genes to forgive anyone. Thank you so much baby girl, thank you." He showered me with kisses and hugs making me giggle.
*****
"GOAL!!" Everyone shouted at the goal that hit the net at very last moment.
Everyone around us was celebrating and cheering their lungs out. Xavier hugged me tight and kissed me breathlessly.
"We won Bela." He yelled again clapping his hand.
By now everyone can guess we were at the football stadium watching the finale of English Premiere league. The very one ticket I had given him as his birthday gift but his surprise did not end here. I had more on my list.
I suddenly kneeled down on my knees and took off the square box from my purse. I could feel him eyeing in shock and ignoring his reaction I started what I had to do. "Mr. Xavier Hunt, will you do an honor of becoming my husband forever till the death do us apart?" I shouted.
"B-Bela" He stammered covering his mouth with his hands.
"Will you?" I asked him again raising my eyebrow.
"Yes, a hundred times yes." He announced and swept me off from the ground, taking me into his embrace. I laughed feeling ticklish.
Just then I heard clappings around me and noticed everyone had their eyes on us. I hide my face on the nape of his neck making him chuckle.
"Bela..." He whispered and I hummed.
"Let's get married now." He muttered.
"Now as in right now?" I asked him in amusement. He nodded.
"Okay." I threw myself on him once again.
"Let me call my lawyer and arrange the papers till then why not we have lunch?" I nodded.
"I'm craving for steak." I said in excitement.
"Steak it is then." He took my hands and dragged me out of the stadium.
"Hello, Mr.Hunt." Xavier's lawyer, Nathan greeted. "I have got the papers." Xavier nodded.
"Let's get it done then." Xavier gestured him. "Where do I sign?" He asked.
"Here and back three papers." He showed. As he was done signing the paper he gave me the pen and I signed with excitement.
"Thank you both, now I shall take my leave. Congratulations to both of you." He smiled and exited.
"So, How are you feeling my wife?" He smirked.
"Giddy." I chuckled.
"Same." He laughed intertwining his hands with mine and kissed it.
"I love you, Isabella Cloe Hunt and I promise to take care of you in thicks and thins. I will be your armor to protect you from bad and evils. My sole duty now is to respect and appreciate every moment you spend with me. I must be a lucky guy who is blessed by a wife like you." He vowed.
"Xavier hunt and my other half, I too promise you to always wake up to make your life better and happy. I promise I will appreciate everything you provide me your love and health is all that matters to me. I love you, my husband." I smiled and tipped my toe to kiss him.
Mine forever and ever.....
