Lora's [P.O.V]

I got up from my bowing position and I held the hand of Bella as we both walked out of the Chambers where my mom who happens to be the Luna always comes to give us more lessons and tell us strange things that we don't know every day.

Bella happens to have a change in behavior Just after my mom had talked about the sleeping alpha who was caused by his evil uncle immediately after he was giving birth.

Or... I would want to believe that because she was afraid of the fire werewolf When she heard of it.

"Bella are you still here?" I asked as I stared at her, while she was looking into the forest that wasn't so far from the park mansion with her eyes not even flinching but a physical reaction seeming strong and her body movements still.

"Lora, I am afraid that I might just become a fire Werewolf one day and be the one to dishonor our park by acting according to how my powers are supposed to, and I feel bad not just for myself but for anyone who would have the same power and will go through the same depression alone" Bella says to me as she held my hand swinging it from back to front in between us.

"You don't need to be afraid Bella, sometimes there are some things that are above our power and we can do nothing else but just watch it happen so I will suggest that you work according to what our grand Luna has instructed us to do." I said to Bella but she didn't react.

"What if this is the end of our fate, And the moon Goddess is just trying to get rid of the creation she had made which is giving her a headache?" Bella said to me and I chuckled looking at her smile.

"No, I'm serious... Just... What if the moon goddess is looking for way too extinct us but we don't know yet because she's above us and is trying to deceive us to either fight or accept being extinct or could it be a test that she's trying to know if we are going to fight against what she has dimmed us to go through or be submissive to her plan?" Bella says to me and I gave it a thought.

"Bella, I don't think the moon goddess will want to destroy what she has created and this is because for every invention made it's a hard decision to come up with, plus a fact is that she gave us choice which is to fight or to be submissive" I said to her in return and Bella was looking at me surprised.

"Wow! Sometimes you sound so educated, while other times you talk like a dumb comedian." Bella says to me and it hurt me but I have learned to tolerate her when she abuses me.

"So, let's flashy the topic since is not the most relevant thing that is currently happening now, you know it's still possible that the moon goddess is not even yet ready and It's very possible that the sleeping alpha might even sleep till we are all dead" Bella says to me and I laughed in return to cover my former hurt looking smile.

"Actually, this shit ass stories have been told hundreds of years ago to young warriors like we are and it has continued like this over the years, so of course the myths will always continue" she says to me while I listened to her talk.

"You know... Somehow some part of me wants to believe that it's all a lie." Bella continues.

"Well for me I believe that the frozen alpha is our legend and if so, he has a son that is super-hot, and a mix of black and white then I'm sure that I'm already in to become his mate, like excuse me! mix kids look like Gods and according to what my mum has said; he is possessive and dangerous, so now... Guess what?" I said to Bella and she turned looking at me with this serious kind of face.

"Tell me what is it, Lora?" Bella replied by asking questions as she always does, trying to make me believe what whatever I can ever say doesn't count to her or will to anybody.

"I love possessive dangerous guys and if he's one of them then I'm totally in" I said to Bella and she claps her hands while laughing at me.

I could understand the reason why she wouldn't want to believe that I might just be the one who would be chosen to become His mate.

"Okay Lora, we have not yet even stayed talking about the fact that you are not Even a fire werewolf, not to talk of the fact that before one will qualify to be the mate of the moon goddess’s grandson, that person must be a fighter as good as I am" she says eye rolling as she feels herself.

She happens to be three years older than me so our pack has taught her secret legend moves and that's all that makes her so powerful.

"Lora listen, plus... She must have drained those powers from innocent werewolves who will fight to keep their wolfs and if so that person has drained a lot of powers and is able to control it all together, then will the girl be qualified to be the mate of the fire alpha or it will mean that the girl would die" Bella says like there's nothing to think about.

"So, if you think that you can be that woman who is Not just a warrior but a living weapon according to our Luna, and would able to do all these things without dying then assuredly, you will become his mate, hence the question is; Do you think that you can do all this and achieve what You are wishing for? And do you think I will let you have him?" Bella says to me laughing as she walks away.

"You're just seventeen years old, you have no proper fight training and you want to compete with.

"Don't walk away from me Bella, you are letting an invincible alpha that we have not even seen to be the separation of our friendship which was since we were kids?" I said to Bella in surprise.

"Who gives a shit about friendship when this just means that I might just one day become the moon goddess, so forget about that Lora, I think it's time to stop being kids and face the fact of adulthood" Bella says to me and I felt really hurt.

But then, she just opened my eyes now.

I will train myself like my wolf life depends on it.


Chapter 33

Lora's [P.O.V]

I turned back and the next person my eyes met with was that of my father, alpha Monaro.

"Greeting’s father! Your presence is welcomed" I said to him and he brings me up to stand.

I kept my eyes to the ground as I didn't want his wolf to get provoked by my disrespectful behavior of looking into his eyes but then he raises my chin and I looked into his eyes as I stared about the features of his face, seeing that he was happy.

"In the coming days, you will come of age and be ready to pair with your mate, plus would be given the Luna position so that you can learn how to rule when your mum is no longer there" he says to me as he releases my chin with a smile still on his face.

"Lora make sure that you beat every other warrior, both the males and the females, remember that no one is your friend and you cannot trust anyone" he says to me and I'm wondering why he's giving me all these tips when he knows that I haven't even learnt anything except royal training.

Which entails just how I should behave, plus my birthday is in three days’ time.

"Daddy... Sorry, alpha Monaro, what you are asking of me is not something that I can do because I was never given such training, so I'm wondering how you would expect of me to beat both male and the female warriors who have been taught things that I was never taught before" I said to my father and he laughed walking past me.

"Follow me Lora, there's something that you need to know about yourself." My dad says and I followed him from behind as we entered through the forest, then he pulled off his shirts and started walking very fast. That made me add even my own speed as I kept trying to understand why.

From walking fast, my dad started running and I added my own speed from behind... Running as fast as I could, since it was an alpha that told me to follow him and I will have to oblige and follow him wherever he goes or face the wrath of his wolf.

He was obviously faster than I was since he had the ability to use his wolf energy in order to run faster but I could only use little boost from my wolf in order to run at least closer to where he was heading to and we kept on running deep and deep into the forest and I was getting exhausted while following him blindly like it was a race.

It came to my notice that I was now falling down a cliff and I looked down to see him falling as well.

I closed my eyes in the fear that I was going to get hurt or even worse die.

But then, I fell into a lake full of water and rocks from the left and the right with my eyes monitoring my father, as I saw him swimming out of the lake.

"Come out of the lake Lora, it's time you learnt something no one in the pack has ever learnt before and you're not to disclose of this information to anyone unless to your mum since she already knows what I'm about to teach you" he says to me as I came out of the lake feeling so frustrated because I was now wet.

"Okay dad, what's next?" I asked my dad waiting to see the next thing that will happen, since he just made me jump off a cliff without me even knowing.

Funnily, I wondered why I was running after him as if he was some kind of pizza.

Truth be told is that I had to imagine he was a pizza so that I could really go after him and be able to meet his expectations since if I'm unable to catch up with him it will only mean that the little training that I have been taught will need to be repeated.

"Lora, stretch your hands out" My dad says to me and I stretched my hand out just for him to bring out one of his claws slicing my palm and my blood dripped through the loops of my fingers down to the ground with my palm instantly healing since I have healing energy.

Then vibrations began to occur and my feet started shaking from the floor but my father stood still looking at something behind me like there was anything there except the lake that I had just come out from or was it something else?

Then, something else shocked me.

Through my father's eyes I could see what was behind me, it wasn't something that looked natural so I turned slowly until I had fully turned back to look at what was behind me.

To my surprise... The Waters of the lake had raised and formed a giant wolf made of the waters and it began to part into two from the middle.

And I can see a golden scroll over a rock in the deep depths of the wide lake.

"That's your scroll Lora, go and get it" my father said to me as he stood behind me and I was starting to have doubts on the reason of going into the middle of the water wolf to pick a scroll that was on a rock in between the divided body of water which formed the giant werewolf.

"Are you afraid Lora? or don't you trust me?" my father said to me in return and I knew that voice that just spoke to me, it was not really my father talking nor his normal sense but more on the decision of his wolf.

So, disobeying was an instant death.

"I trust you father and I am not afraid" I said to my father as I walked through the water formed wolf as I headed to the stomach to get the scroll which is said to be of importance to me.

When I finally reached there... I carried it, noticing that they were other scrolls in it too but they were all totally red and not golden.

Then, the waters began to reduce in height and the middle pavement that I had used to come in order to get the scroll was beginning to collapse.

I had to scroll to myself as I looked out to see my father standing with pride in his every movement.

"Open the scroll Lora, and feel the power!" My father said to me and I started trying to open the scroll as fast as I could because I knew that the water was not friendly and probably wanted to devour me so it could keep the scroll to itself.

"Common Lora!" My father screams from outside.

Luckily, I was able to open the scroll and when I looked into it, something changed inside of me, all I knew and could feel was nothing less than me being Powerful and dangerous.

The knowledge of the scroll was mercerizing.
