Chapter 10: Want To Meet Her

He came closer to me, and the only light between us was the moonlight. "Someone wants to talk to you," Simon said.

I frowned. "Who?"

"Mrs. Torres."

"Why?"

He just shrugged. "I don't know why, but she called earlier while you were doing your mission." He took a small piece of paper from his pocket and gave it to me. "You two will meet at the address written on the paper." She didn't mention what it was for. She just said she just wanted to see you. "

I folded the paper and grabbed the steering wheel of my motorbike again and started it. "Alright, I'll go." and completely left in front of Simon to park my motorbike at the back of the warehouse that also has a door.

The next day, in a small restaurant that has a written address in the paper. 

As soon as I entered the restaurant, all the people's attention was on me. I was dressed from head to toe in black, and my hair was braided again. What they see is a poker face that looks arrogant, so that's just the way people look inside. I sat near the transparent wall and saw the person outside. I just focused on that while waiting for Mrs. Torres.

A woman in a white dress came in and she immediately saw Adira. She immediately came to her and sat down in the opposite seat without any permission. "Good morning!" she greeted Adira.

I turned to the woman in front of me. "Mrs. Torres?"

"Yes, I am, but please call me Carina." She even smiled, showing her white teeth.

I just nodded, but I was thinking of Mrs. Torres's looks as I see her now. "Impossible! How did Mr. Torres manage to cheat if his wife is this beautiful?" A gentle face that if it didn't move, it looked like a beautiful doll. She also has no make-up on her face but has long eyelashes like a doll and narrow eyes, a small nose, but sharp and thin lips.

"My partner says you want to talk to me." I asked.

"Yes."

"About what and how did you know that I was Adira?"

She smiled. "The person I talked to told me to look for the one with all black clothes and an emotionless face. I saw you right away, so I knew you were Adira. "

I folded my arms and asked again. "Why do you want to talk to me then?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm curious about your identity and why you're popular among all the gangsters."

"You know anything about gangsters?"

I nodded. "What if the two of you don't have a good relationship while your child grows up?"
