Aiden p.o.v.

What is wrong? Why are we Isabella's mates? For God's sake, she is our little sister, our baby sister. I want no one else but Ava. I don't need any female to replace my love. Rescinding her will be the best for all of us.

I was still thinking about this when Anna walked up to me.

"Aiden, can I talk to you? She asked.

"Why? What do you want to talk about? "OK, say it fast, I have a lot to do," I hissed.

"Aiden, what is wrong? "What is happening between us? What did I do wrong to deserve all this ill-treatment from you" she asked.

"Don't you get it, Anna? I am no longer interested in you. Let both of us go our separate ways" I told her.

"Why? Why? What is it in me that you abhor? "Tell me Aiden and I will change. I will change for you" she cried out.

"You will change for me? But why? I ask her, "We were nothing to each other. We don't even have any relationship to begin with. We were only fucking each other for fun. But you make it known to everyone in the pack by spreading rumors about us. About dating each other. Do you think I don't know your intentions? I do, Anna. I know everything, but I chose to stay silently" I told her, "Giving out a cold aura.

"What? Aiden, what are my intentions? How can you mistreat me like this, why? Is it my fault that I'm in love with you? Was it my fault that I wanted to be with you? Why are you like this? "What has changed in you?" she shrieked at me.

"Can you please stop shrieking at me? Nothing has changed?" is me from the beginning, and please stay away from me. I have got a mate that I am in love with" I told her, sneering at her startled face.

"What? Don't tell me you are in love with your sister. This is absurd, Aiden. "It is a forbidden relationship," she muttered.

"And who notified you that I am babbling about my little sister? I asked her. Do you have anything else to say, Anna? If not, I am too busy to get myself involved in this type of useless chat, and stay away from me. I don't want my mate to get a different idea about us if I bring her to the pack" I announced before sauntering away from her?

"Don't you dare walk away from me, Aiden," she screamed. Tell me, who is that bitch? Tell me her name. I need to know the kind of person that is squabbling with me for your love.

I stop and turn to handle her.

"Bitch". "You call my mate a bitch. How dare you" I howl, clenching my fist? Count yourself lucky that I don't smash a woman or else I could have mercilessly whacked that ugly face of yours, and next time you dare call my mate a bitch, my mate, your future queen I don't mind shredding your head off your body" I growl threatened her.

Anna p.o.v.
I flopped down on the floor. I had never seen this side of Aiden before. He looks like a monster, a demon that is ready to amputate me apart. How did it get to this?

Aiden was never like this. He is a sweet guy, and I am sure he loves me. He is just conceived. He just has a little change of heart. He will come back to me. That bitch must have bewitched him. She must have used dark magic on him. Aiden is mine. I am the right lycan woman to be crowned and rule beside him as his queen. This is the kind of dream I wish for. Everyone in the pack is already treating me as their future queen, the queen, and the king loves me as well. Even if he never told me he loves me, I was never wrong. I know he loves me a lot. He is just waiting for the right time to tell me, and I have been waiting for the day I will rule over the Lycans as their queen. I want everyone to bow down at my feet. I want every one of them to worship the ground I walk on.

Lycan King P.o.v.

Why is this happening to my children? My little girl is Aiden, and Ethan fated mate. Something is not right, something is erroneous someplace. Who is fiddling with my family? I am still unable to unravel who was working for the rogues and another problem surfaces. I underestimate my foe. I don't know how Mai is faring with the difficulty we are encountering now. I can't feel her emotions through the mate bond. I must check on her instantly.

I moved as fast as my legs could carry me inside the bedroom I shared with my mate. I opened the door and I heard her sob. Mia, she is sobbing.

"Mai, my love," I called her. Why are you crying? What is wrong? I asked her.

"Miller, are you asking me what was wrong! Are you pretending not to understand what is going on, or do you just choose to ignore everything? She yelled at me.

"I'm sorry, my love. I am not ignoring what is happening to us. I am sorry if I made you feel that I am" I apologize to her," I tried to tug her to my chest."

"Let me go, Miller, leave me alone. I am too sad to be intimate with you. My children, they were each other's mates. Why is this happening to me? Who did I offend, Miller? Why did the moon goddess do this to me? Why? Mia cried out.

I could feel all her emotions now; her pain, her fear, and her anguish. I am heartbroken that she is hurt. What can I do to comfort her right now? I whispered.

"I will do everything in my power to make this right. You just have to trust me. Trust me on this, my queen. I whispered.

"I should trust you." You have so many enemies that they all want you dead. You created your enemies all over the Lycan and werewolf world. You were called numerous names. You go to war, shedding blood. I advised you on this, but you never heeded. I advised you to stop declaring wars. I am sure if I was not your queen, you could have waged war on my brother's pack. You were so brutal and selfish that you never thought about us. I warn you, but you never listen to it." Look at what is happening now, and you asked me to trust you. Trust a man who never heeds to anyone's advice" she howled at me.
I was lip-tightened. I don't know what else to say. I should have listened to her earlier. Maybe I will have fewer enemies who are all after my life now. I know they were constantly after my life, but no one dared to openly oppose me; they only lured me in to the darkness, plotting their evil plans, and I promise to show them no mercy.
"Idiot." This is not the time to be thinking about whom to kill or not. We have a problem at hand. We have to think about how to amuse our angry mate "demon howls.

I almost forgot about my angry mate. I was so consumed and dazzled by my anger that I forgot to gratify my mate.

"I'm sorry, my queen. I know I am wrong. I know I should have listened to you. I know I should have never waged or declared war. I am sorry, my love. I apologize as I tug her to my chest, coaxing her.

Mia, I promised you: I will always listen to you; I will make things right; and I won't ever disappoint you again. She never responded; she only nodded her head.
Two Weeks After.
For two weeks now, we have been scouring for a clue, but we always end up without finding a single proof. I am getting frustrated, and Isabella has been screaming and begging me to let her out. She told me she needed to see her mate. This is a fake. Someone is playing a trick on us because Aiden and Ethan feel nothing for her and the mate bond is presumed to affect both sides, not just her. My little one is the only one suffering. Who did this to her? She is just a little girl who is anxious to meet her chosen one. It hurt to see her in the dungeon, screaming and yelling, and seeing Mai in a sad dilemma made my heart bleed. I have never seen her genuine smile again; it fades away, and she no longer smiles. She is not the same woman I once met. She's always moody, and I hate to see her like that. I know she is like this because of her children. My twins and my warriors, including me, my beta, and my third in command, have been scouring for a hint trying to lure out our enemies, but we fail. It is as if the enemy never existed in the first place.
