Chapter 46 : Unforgettable Night

As another sleepless night unfolded, Angela found herself consumed by her quest for the truth about Esmeralda's past. Her mind raced as she analyzed every piece of information she had gathered. Unable to bear the weight of her thoughts any longer, she rose from her bed and walked towards the window, which overlooked the vast expanse of the mansion's backside.
The beauty of the night beckoned to her through the moon's radiant glow, casting an enchanting spell over the orchards below. The city lights twinkled like scattered stars, captivating Angela's gaze. At that moment, a decision crystallized within her mind—she would depart from the mansion as soon as Leonardo regained his sight. It was a resolve she made to uncover the truth and pursue her path.
The following day brought no news of Frederick's whereabouts. Angela ventured into the orchard's garden, selecting a handful of delicate flowers. Sneaking back into her room, she was taken aback to find Leonardo sitting on Esmeralda's bed. A mix of surprise and joy washed over her as she quickly placed the freshly picked flowers into a small jar she had retrieved.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
"I want to paint," Leonardo replied solemnly, his presence in her room bringing a sense of relief. It was a sign that he had begun to emerge from the depths of his suffering.
They spent the entire day engrossed in their impromptu smash-paint painting, a burst of colors and creative energy filling the air. Angela carefully avoided broaching any undesirable topics with Leonardo, intent on preserving the positive and carefree atmosphere they shared. As the day wore on and the evening approached, Leonardo made a request.
"I'd like to have dinner outside, on the patio," he expressed, and so they arranged for a warm, candlelit dinner under the night sky. Angela's heart fluttered with joy as she observed Leonardo, relaxed and content, savoring each bite of his meal.
As he finished a glass of red wine, Leonardo turned to Angela, his eyes filled with curiosity. "What did the night look like?" he inquired, genuinely interested in her perspective.
"It was beautiful," Angela replied with heartfelt sincerity, a smile gracing her lips. She knew that these precious moments would forever be etched in her memory. Content to soak in the tranquility of the evening, she remained in her silent mood, relishing the peacefulness shared with Leonardo.
"You're annoyingly silent," Leonardo commented, a hint of playfulness in his tone as he requested another glass of wine. Angela poured the rich red liquid into his glass, maintaining her silence.
"There's nothing specific to talk about," she responded softly. "But maybe you could tell me something about yourself."
Leonardo's face brightened as he recalled a topic from his past. He spoke of his summer hobby, apart from painting, which involved fishing in the nearby lake. A smile played on his lips as he reminisced about the simple joys and the occasional triumphs of his fishing adventures. Angela found herself enthralled, enjoying the opportunity to learn more about the real Leonardo—the carefree, fun-loving side hidden beneath the weight of his struggles.

As the night came, Leonardo asked Angela to accompany him into his room. While Angela was preparing his bed, crawling over the crumpled mattress to tuck in the edge and get off, she was surprised to see Leonardo standing a few inches away from her, with his scent and warm body closer to her, some heat released from her heart through the back of her ears.
She'd never been that close to a man before.
Angela froze as Leonardo touched her face. She had no experience with romance or men. After their father abandoned them with nothing but debt, men were not her priority. She had no intention of marrying. And as she worked abroad, although a few dared approached her or flirted with her, they were basted one by one. For her, men are cockroaches who should be avoided before she met Leonardo.
Leonardo's hands touched her face lightly and carefully. It was as if he was afraid of breaking her into pieces. But his sweet breath on her nostril was seductive because it was mixed with alcohol.
And for the first time, she was experiencing some kind of ecstasy that came from deep within her. Some kind of pumping up was sensationally overwhelming and stopped her from escaping his touch. She now knew that Leonardo was an expert at luring girls into his domain. He kissed her lightly while thumbing her lips. His lips on hers tasted good, and a strange tingling was aroused within her; this was new to her.
"Why can't I resist your scent?" Leonardo inquired in his ear.
"Please, push me if you don't want something to happen to you," he said harshly, locking his lips to hers and holding tight to her back, unzipping her short dress, and unhooking her bra, which automatically freed her breasts from being kept safe.
Angela wanted to stop his hands from touching her breasts, but the sensation was so intense that she couldn't even whisper the word "stop." Deep inside, she was battling her logic against the natural outburst of lust. She wanted to know more about what Leonardo could still do to her naked body, leaving her in her lower-laced black lingerie. Leonardo drew her and slowly placed her on his bed.
This time she panicked, and her logical mind begged her to push Leonardo, but her body was too frail to perform such an act to prevent the newly discovered sexual urge from awakening. Leonardo's journey into her private parts with his lips and hands made her shiver; the tingling sensation was overwhelming. His fingers rubbed softly in between her legs, inducing a sexy groan that added to Leonardo's cockiness and accelerated his movements from slow to a bit punishing yet engaging dance of love as he covered her nakedness with his nakedness, licking her breasts. Angela was startled to realize that their foreplay was unstoppable.
"I'm sorry," Leonardo said harshly, "but please open the door for me, my sweet Angela."
Angela was enchanted and would do anything he said and set her legs apart to welcome him wholeheartedly. Leonardo was getting excited as he thrust his manhood into her welcoming wet honeypot heaven, and they became one tone as they danced sweetly, moaning, and with Leonardo's guidance in his pull and push, conquering and intruding Angela's body. "I'm sorry, I can't stop it," he said as he pushed harder and harder, pinning her down on his bed. "You're such a hot dish," he groaned.
"Oh, God," Angela exclaimed, feeling something inside her stir up a sweet agony.
Leonardo heard the signal and changed the rhythm of their sexual fornication into a fast beat with their hearts racing as they both let out a long groan of climax burst and Angela was gasping for breath for the first time in bed in a man's arms. Both soaked with sweat in the cold room, they were silently listening to their heartbeats subside.
It was already two a.m., and Angela's eyes were wide awake, recalling what had happened over and over. She couldn't believe Leonardo would be her first love; his first man. She had given her virginity to him.
*Why didn't you say it was your first time?* Leonardo's voice was heard again. *At the very least, I would be gentler with you from the start. *

She could still feel the stinging pain inside her and the unusual joy of having given Leonardo Vera her virginity. This would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her. And when she's gone, she'll be glad she had a great first time in her life. A few minutes later, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

The alarm clock buzzed sharply at seven o'clock, jolting Angela out of her sleep. She swiftly made her way to the bathroom, feeling the warmth of the water as it cascaded over her body during a quick, invigorating shower. Choosing an off-the-shoulder dress from her closet, she decided to embrace a touch of elegance that morning. The change in her appearance was a deliberate choice, as she wanted to feel beautiful as she attended to her patient, Leonardo.
Returning to Leonardo's room, Angela's eyes fell upon his still form, peacefully slumbering on the bed. Memories of the previous night flooded her mind, leaving an indelible imprint on her heart. Something significant had transpired between them, a connection that transcended their roles of nurse and patient. Leonardo had unknowingly captured a precious piece of her heart, and the emotions that swirled within her were a mix of anticipation, apprehension, and a growing sense of connection.
With a steadying breath, Angela prepared herself for the day ahead. She knew that the path before her was uncertain, filled with challenges and newfound emotions. Yet, she was determined to face it head-on, ready to navigate the complexities that arose from the events of that unforgettable night.
