Chapter 14 Going to the Movies

The two best friends who hadn't seen each other for a long time hugged each other excitedly.

Xiang Lianyi's eyes were filled with tears. Li Tiantian, she finally saw her again. This lovely girl could have been happy and contented for the rest of her life, but her life was ended hastily because of the wrong person she met in her last life.

In this life, she must make sure that Li Tiantian has a happy life!

"Lianyi, what took you so long to come and hang out with me? I've missed you so much. Hey, are you crying? What's going on?" Li Tiantian was chattering, but when she saw Xiang Lianyi's red eyes, she became worried and asked her what was wrong.

"I'm fine, I just miss you so much." Xiang Lianyi said jokingly as she held Li Tiantian's hand.

"Oh my, you scared me. I thought something was wrong. Are you free today? We should go shopping together," Li Tiantian said excitedly.

"Of course. That's what I'm here for."

"Great, just wait for me a little. I'll tell my family and we can go."

It was almost noon when they finally headed to the department store with the sun shining brightly and warmly.

The breeze smelled like spring!

The two little girls were chatting one after the other.

"So your family is going to get better soon?" Li Tiantian asked. She and Xiang Lianyi were childhood friends and they knew each other very well. What happened to Xiang father made her family very worried. Now that she was hearing from Xiang Lianyi about the order, she felt happy for her from the bottom of her heart.

"It's not getting that much better, but at least it will better than before."

"No matter what, this is a good thing! I'm sure that in a short while, your family will be getting better and better!"

Xiang Lianyi smiled. SHe nodded and glanced at Li Tiantian, who was walking next to her.

At the age of eighteen, Li Tiantian was so sweet. She must protect her!

The two soon came to South City's largest department store. Xiang Lianyi was not a huge fan of shopping. In her previous life, she would always go shopping alone. She already had enough of shopping.

The variety of goods and Li Tiantian's chattering voice made the afternoon so much better.

In the two strolled to a ladies' shoe store, they accidentally encountered to Mo Zhuyang and her friends. The trio was also shopping. At first, Xiang Lianyi wanted to pretend she didn't see her, but Mo Zhuyang took the initiative to walk up to her. "Hello, didn't we meet each other the other day at the Xi's house?"

Mo Zhuyang has taken the initiative to speak up, so Xiang Lianyi could no longer ignore her. She smiled and said, "Right, I just happened to be delivering clothes that day."

"That's such a coincidence. I'm Mo Zhu Yang. And your name is...?" Mo Zhuyang pretended not to know as she asked, even though she had investigated Xiang Lianyi so thorough she probably knew all of Xiang Lianyi's ancestors names as well as hers.

"My name is Xiang Lianyi."

Xiang Lianyi was rolling her eyes in her mind. Go on, pretend you don't know who I am. I want to see how long you can keep up this charade? It was so dark that day, and she was standing in the shadows. She didn't believe Mo Zhuyang could have seen her properly. She must have asked the Xi family about her and investigated her.

"Xiang Lianyi... Nice name. By the way, I saw you standing with Mufeng the other day. Do you know each other very well?" Although Mo Zhuyang said it with a smile, Xiang Lianyi felt a hint of coldness in her voice.a

She suddenly laughed. "We're quite familiar with each other. I didn't expect Miss Mo to have such sharp observational skills."

She really hated the fact that Mo Zhuyang was acting like a hostess, who gave her the right to do so?

She did not like how Mo Zhuyang was acting like she was the rightful mistress. Who gave her the rights?

As far as she knew, no matter if it was in her past life or her current life, Xi Mufeng was disgusted with Mo Zhuyang!

"Oh, Xiang Lianyi, did you know..."

"Know what?" Xi Mufeng suddenly appeared behind them, just in time to interrupt Mo Zhuyang's words.

"Mufeng, why are you here?" Mo Zhuyang bit back her words and suddenly became very gentle.

Liang Han, who was standing on Xi Mufeng's side, shivered when he saw it. He truly admired these girls' skill at instantly changing their attitude.

"I can't be here?" Xi Mufeng looked at Mo Zhuyang and said coldly.

Xi Mufeng ignored Mo Zhuyang and turned to ask Xiang Lianyi calmly, "Did you find anything you like?"

"Then why are you still here? Let's go!" Xi Mufeng basically ignored Mo Zhuyang and the others and turned around to leave.

Liang Han saw the situation and awkwardly smiled towards Mo Zhuyang, and left along with him. Li Tiantian, who hadn't been speaking at all, followed suit and left with the three.

Mo Zhuyang gritted her teeth in anger. It wasn't the first time Xi Mufeng had treated her badly, but it was the first time he had done so for another girl.
