Chapter 8
**Cilia**
As much as I hated to, I had to return to the auction house. I didn’t want to. Newly turned vampire or not. Those memories of my torture haunted me. Before Jeremy was assigned to train me, I was in far worse hands. Jeremy was different. Kind. Even though he whipped me, I knew it was for my own good. I was born human and sold to the auction house. I remained a virgin… until I met my new master. Jeremy never touched me like the others there. It wasn’t allowed if a slave was assigned a master.
“You can do this, Cilia. It’s time to face your past.” I whispered to myself as I looked into the mirror.
Allesandro had my appearance changed. Brunette to blonde. I got a complete makeover from head to toe. The dress was a little bit more revealing than I was comfortable with, but I did it to please my mates. Tonight, Allesandro and I would be posing as a couple of vampires in search of a human slave. I hated it, but it had to be done. We were apparently the only ones who could do it.
Lord Cameron and his mistress Shaelynn of the Midnight Storm Coven.
That was what Allesandro said our names would be.
But really…
We would be searching for one person only.
Jeremy, my previous master and the only one who can help us take the witches down.
He filled me in on what was happening. His werewolf friend came to him when the witches attacked his mate. In fact, he said the witches were out to take out everyone. And by doing that, they were trying to cause a rift between the vampires and werewolves.
I stepped out of the room and made my way to Allesandro’s chambers. My heels clicked across the hardwood floor, causing all head to turn to me. Women bowed in respect. Men fell to their knees and waited for me to pass. And the human slaves? They begged m with their eyes to help them.
Sorry, darlings.
I stopped at Allesandro’s door and turned the knob. Upon entering, Allesandro and Dante turned, their eyes darkening as I closed the door. Allesandro was the first to speak.
“My love, you look…” He paused. “You look beautiful, my Queen.”
“Our Queen.” Dante corrected him.
Allesandro wrapped one arm around my waist and wrapped his free hand around the back of my neck. He captured my lips in a passionate kiss. Another pair of hands came around and cupped my breasts and a deep voice growled in my ear. “You look good enough to eat.”
Allesandro worked his way down my neck and inhaled deeply. Both men were trying to hold themselves back. Allesandro pulled back and cupped the side of my face and whispered. “It will be okay. All you have to do is point out Jeremy to me and let Dante take care of the rest.”
“You’re not going to hurt him, are you?” I was worried for Jeremy.
“All we want to do is talk to him. And by doing that, we have to bring him to the castle.” Allesandro informed me.
“In the dungeon.” Dante added.
“The dungeon?”
Allesandro chuckled. “Not that one. We have another one where we keep the prisoners secured.”
“I thought you said you were going to talk to him.”
“My beloved, he’s not the same as you remember him. He’s changed into something else and I can’t allow him to hurt you.”
“W-what do you mean changed?”
“He’s a vampire… and a witch. A hybrid.” Dante answered.
“No…”
“He is and I’m sorry, but I can’t allow him to hurt you, my love.”
“He would never… hurt me.”
“If he hurt you as a witch, just imagine the kind of damage he could do as both a witch and a vampire.”
“But…” I whispered. “He’s my friend.”
Allesandro clenched his jaw and growled. “You are ours, not his. Fucking ours!”
I knew he was jealous of Jeremy, but he had nothing to worry about. Jeremy is harmless. He would never hurt me. Before, he didn’t have a choice.
“I’m yours. Only yours and Dante.” I assured him. “I only belong to you two.”
“And he better remember that.” Allesandro told me.

“Lord Cameron and his mistress Shaelynn of the Midnight Storm Coven, welcome. You’ll find champagne at your reserved seats.” An older man said as we stepped into the auction house.
“I do hope you have someone splendid for the main event. My Shaelynn and I have traveled a long way to acquire a slave for our… needs.” Allesandro said, arrogance dripping from his voice.
“O-of course, my Lord. the main attraction is just about to begin. You really don’t want to miss it.” The man winked.
“I do hope you don’t disappoint my darling Shaelynn. I would hate for her to get her dress bloody before it begins.”
Allesandro and I took our seats and I watched as each slave was forced to bow to their masters on the stage. I held onto Allesandro and tried not to think about my time here.
“Hush, my darling. We’ll be out of here before you know it.” Allesandro leaned in and whispered. “Do you see him?”
I glanced around the room and frowned. I didn’t see anyone that resembled him. A woman took a microphone and smiled. “Welcome, my lovelies. At this time may I ask all the slaves return to their chambers with their masters. We have a special treat tonight. Very rare. Very, very special.”
I glanced at Allesandro and he shook his head. He had no idea what we were about to witness.
“May I present to you the world’s first successful hybrid. He was born with witch blood, but he was born again with the drop of a pure blood. Bring the slave to me and let me show you how submissive he is.”
I tried to calm myself. Hybrid? Pure blood? It had to be Jeremy.
“Alles… andro. I…”
“Shh, try to relax and…”
“I can’t… I’m too…” I hissed.
Two large men pulled a man by chains and kicked him to make him get on his knees. The man raised his head and I could feel it, it was him. I knew those eyes anywhere. Is this what he had become.
“Look at how submissive he is. He will do anything you want. Anything. We’ll start the bidding at one million dollars.”
“One million dollars.” Allesandro yelled.
“Anyone else go higher? No? Ok, sold to the young gentlemen in the back. Come and claim your prize, Sir.”
“How…”
Of course, Dante.
He compelled the woman and probably every other human in here looking for a slave. Of course, the vampires wouldn’t want a vampire/witch hybrid. Not after all the shit going down.
“Come, let’s get out of here. We have so much to do.”
