44 monster
Aceller from the future:
Pakkk!
A stinging slap landed across my face, my grandmother’s hand connecting with a resounding crack. Her eyes blazed with anger, her gaze piercing me like a laser beam. I had just arrived at the bar she had recently opened, forced to drop everything at her urgent call. I had no idea what I was walking into, but clearly, I had stepped into a storm.
I cursed under my breath, my jaw clenching as I met her furious gaze.
“What have you done this time, child?” she spat, her voice sharp as a knife. “Did you think you could hide all the stupid things you’ve done?”
I raised an eyebrow, my mind racing. What could she possibly know? I had done so many terrible things in the last few months. Aside from the attempt to kill my brother, the slaughter of random wolves, and the murders of certain humans – I couldn’t say which one she knew about, afraid of exposing the other dark deeds I had committed. And how did she find out? I had covered my tracks meticulously.
“What I have done?” I echoed, my voice carefully neutral, determined to not let her see the panic building within.
“You’re asking me, you moron? You killed a child and his mother, and now you’re asking me what you’ve done?” she said, her voice dripping with venom.
I narrowed my eyes, a cold dread settling in my stomach.
Wait, the boy was still alive?
“You’re probably wondering how I know, aren’t you, jackass? Well, the boy had a twin, and she’s been hiding somewhere, somewhere you didn’t notice. You monster. We didn’t raise you like this. What have you done to yourself? I’ll make sure your father knows about this,” she said, her words sharp and cutting.
My eyes widened, shock flooding through me. I shook my head, dropping to my knees in front of her. I never begged anyone for anything, but this was different. My title, my entire life, hung in the balance. I had to convince her.
“Please, Grandma, I was terrified that day. I thought my father might kill me for what I had done. It was an accident. But then, I saw the witness, and in my fear, I did what I thought was the right thing. I’m so sorry, Grandma. It won’t happen again. I promise I’ll do everything to help the remaining child, and I’ll pay for my sins to his family.”
She stared at me, her gaze unreadable. “Do you think your father would kill you for what you did? No, child. He’d probably forgive you, since he’s your father after all. But I’m afraid he might eliminate you as a future alpha. You may leave now, and let me think.”
I shook my head, remaining on my knees, my pleas growing desperate.
I could still hear the music from downstairs, filtering through the thin walls of this VIP room. It wasn’t soundproof. I looked for security cameras, but there weren’t any inside the room. The last one I saw was outside. As I stood up, I lunged at my grandmother, grabbing her by the throat. I used all my strength, my rage fueling me. I was stronger than her, and she was completely unprepared. She struggled, her hands clawing at me, but it was too late.

General Erox from the past POV:
I’d seen a lot of my creatures consume the fruit of aphrodisiac, but Margaret’s reaction was by far the most intense. She was untamable, a wild storm of passion. She had already come three times, just standing there in the tree, and still, her body was burning hot. She craved more.
Was it because she was human?
“Erox, I want more,” she moaned, her voice a mix of growls and pleas as my hands roamed her body.
What if she drained her energy? She was just a fragile human. Even if I made love to her all day long, wouldn’t it be enough to exhaust a human like her for a week? Damn it. What could I do to help her? My love, my wild, untamed love.
I had to find a cure, something, anything. But I couldn’t leave her alone in the house. She might seek someone else to satisfy her needs, or worse, those guards might find her, and… Damn it. I shouldn’t even go there. My mind was filled with the worst possible scenarios.
“My love, we should go home first. Then we can continue our lovemaking session, huh?” I said, trying to sound casual, but my voice was laced with urgency.
“But Erox, my stomach aches. I need release, every now and then. My body is on fire, and every moment, more tension builds up inside me.”
I ran my fingers through her hair, a wave of sympathy washing over me. My poor love.
“Endure for a moment, my love. I’m going to gather all these things, then we’ll go home. I promise you’ll be okay soon,” I said, trying to sound reassuring.
I wanted to use my power of ice on her, to cool her burning flesh, but I was afraid it would be too much for her. She was still human, after all.
I lifted her into my arms, gathering the fruit and vegetables into a large cloth I’d brought with me. I tied the bundle to my back.
Margaret’s eyes glinted with yearning, her hands caressing my face.
I cursed under my breath, my wolf’s blood burning in my veins. She had just squeezed her left breast, then pinched the peak of it. Damn it. I knew it was the fruit’s influence, but I couldn’t help myself. I was aroused, my senses overwhelmed by the scent of her juices from earlier.
“Erox, I can’t take it anymore. I need release, again,” she whispered, her voice barely audible but enough for me to hear.
By the time we reached our humble dwelling, I was already losing control. We slipped into the bathroom, where a huge rock thermae, reminiscent of a future bathtub, awaited us. I carefully lowered Margaret onto the stone. As she lay on it, I could see the water vaporizing, though it was almost imperceptible. But with my wolf’s keen eyesight, I saw it.
“Love Erox, please come here, join me,” Margaret begged, her voice a mix of desire and desperation. I couldn’t resist her plea. I jumped into the thermae, my body instantly responding to the heat of the water and the warmth of her presence.
