Chapter 22: Changed Future
Here we are inside the portal, Art"s getting pale. His power"s is running out.
"Wait, give me time to open up the portal again." Art sighed, Gray and I nodded. Gray was looking down with guilt on his face.
"Hey you ok?" I asked Gray. He seems scared. He looked at me and sighed.
"Do you know what Jayden said when she sacrificed herself just for me?" I was surprised by what Gray said, I was avoiding the topic about Jayden since he also avoids that. Art was still focusing on creating the portal until it finally opened.

For some reason Yang reacted to it. This is the yin"s power isn"t it? Yang nodded his head and roared.
"Goddammit that's why I told Pensyvia that she shouldn't help me anymore." Art muttered.
We went down and people has been screaming, not because of my dragon. But because of something.
"Excuse me, what's going on?" I politely asked one of the guards.
"T-there's a monster!" I titled my head.
"Monster?"
"T-The future King! Has become a monster! "
Wait what?
"Hey Art do you know something about this?" I asked her. I dragged them both to go there to the Palace, something must have happened.
"Dragons are not my specialty but the Yin-Yang dragons are connected. If one rejects the other, the other will cause chaos. " I frowned when he said that.
"What do you mean? Who got rejected? " as far as I remember I didn"t reject Al"s dragon.
"There"s this called feelings. Maybe they feel rejected or abandoned. Since Al saw you vanished, he might have reacted to it. Uh like you leaving him? " I sighed and saw Jayden and Jasper with some shield, without a sword.
They saw us and ran towards us.
"What happened?" Gray asked.
"P-prince Alistair is destroying some places in the empire." Jasper said.
"Yeah no shit, look at those destruction." Jasper just glared Atsaka hit it with the shield it was holding.
"Shut up where have you been?"
"Long story. Wait what really happened? Isn"t Alistair with the King along with the announcement? We left somewhere. " -Gray
"We"re not sure exactly, because Seraphina and the King were there but Al wasn"t. It was kind of an illusion, and people started having suspicions. I mean they saw what happened at the party with Princess Astraea, then we heard an explosion. " Jayden
"The Prince was targeting Seraphina, he was uh... half? Dragon. It looks like it was his dragon fusing with him and creating some explosions. " - Jasper
"The King collapsed after that so we went upstairs, no guard or anything. Seraphina wasn"t there too, might have run into somewhere. Pretty sure the Prince was looking for him. " –Jayden explained.
"So you mean... the announcement was fake?" –Art
"It was pretty obvious, remember the incident where the Princess got chased by some students? Their eyes were dull and dead. Like the King"s. " - Jasper.
"Where's Al?" I asked hurriedly. He might end up destroying the Place.
Jasper pointed to where he was. So I ran right away.
So to clear everything, the King was under a spell. The Alistair with Seraphina was an illusion and the original is going on a rampage. Ugh seriously
I saw him jumping around the place.
"Al! AL! " I screamed. I bumped into some people and helped them get out of the place. "Yang! Help the citizens! "
Yang immediately took my order and gently help some citizens.
It looks like they're not afraid of my dragon so it's ok. I ran towards Al who was not listening to me.

His eyes were glowing white and has some large horns and wings along with claws. He looks terrifying and not himself at all.
"Come out Seraphina, you'll pay for this." Al said along with some echoes to make sure everyone including Seraphina could hear.
Shit, I can"t chase him with that kind of form. I turned my back and saw Yang following me, looks like he"s done saving the citizens.
"Yang! Can you help me transform like that? So I can chatch up to him. " he roared and vanished. I closed my eyes slowly...
I could feel something rushing to my body. My body is getting lighter and I can feel some power flowing inside me.
I opened my eyes, I have the same form as Al but mine"s black.
"Get ready Yang. There will be a whole lot of chasing. "
I jumped and flew towards him. THANK GOD DRAGONS HAVE WINGS.
"Al!" I shouted at him again. He"s really not himself today.
Well I won"t stop him from killing Seraphina though. It"s up to him, my concern is the Empire"s people and villages. He"s might end up destroying them.
There was a carriage running towards the village. Seriously how stupid can Seraphina get ?! As expected Al followed that carriage where Seraphina went. Obviously because the Gremlin Empire carriage is placed, she probably can't use any other carriage since it's all used. If not used, damaged.
I flew towards the village, while Al is throwing some light magic toards them causing them to crash in front of the village entrance. i really hate doing this but-
I stood there and covered the carriage with my wings, it didn"t cause anything because mine"s also made of dragon. Seraphina was screaming and crying right now when she got out of the carriage.
"Oh my God! Another monster! " I rolled my eyed and glared at her.
"Shut the fuck up bitch. I can kill you here if I want to, along with Maddy if you want. " I said coldly causing her to cry even more.
Alistair would have thrown stones again in case I also jumped towards him and stopped him. The light ball was so large it can eliminate the village.
"Al." I said while holding its wrist. "Stop! You"re gonna kill everyone. "
"I'll kill her."
"ALISTAIR LAMENT! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON"T STOP NOW I WILL NOT MARRY YOU! " I shouted at him causing him to look at me with surprised eyes.

Looks like he"s back to his senses now. The form still didn"t fade away, he probably manage to take control to it.
"Thank God." I said simultaneously holding her cheek.

I sighed and hugged him.

I was staring at Maddy who with rage and anger in her eyes just like what I saw in my fragment of memories. Did I do something wrong?

They are here in front of us. Fray and Art manage to catch her, but it looks like she has no plans to run away. The King is ok now thanks to the potion that Art has, I don't know where it came from as long as the king is ok. He"s in his room resting, he"s unconscious because of what happened
The guards are busy helping some citizens as well as the maids in the Empire. We need to do something about us transforming into dragons.
We prevent Jayden from getting killed and also me from the execution. Seraphina is beside her, silent and shivering.
"Why?" I asked him weakly. I stared at her eyes, she laughed "Why did you do that?"
"You're too young to know." I gritted my teeth. His eyes were full of anger.

"Friend !? She"s a seducer! She stole him from me! That slut! " I was surprised when it suddenly went crazy. Art and Gray were holding her off, while Seraphina is still silent with Jayden and Jasper. Maddy laughed like a mad woman.

Seraphina"s crazy for Maddy. Looks like Maddy is good at deceiving people. With her caring and kind gestures.
"Seraphina, you don't deserve the throne." She just smiled at me. "You will be executed along with Maddy."
"Master helped me get away from my chains, I will do everything for her. even if I die. "
"I don't really have a plan on killing you child, but you just resemble your mother I can't stand it." Maddy whispered. "You changed."
I laughed. And looked at her eyes.

Al walked beside me and we went outside to help some people. I can"t kill her, she took care of me. And mother said be kind to your enemies. Looks like I did and unfair treatment to them too. No trial, but at least it"s a revenge.

Art was left behind and watched the blood coming out from their necks.

Moreover, fire was thrown at their bodies and they were immediately burned to ashes. He then put both his hands in the back of his head.

Art managed to erase all of the memories of all the people of what happened today. The excuse was there was a sudden attack, the King also forgot about Maddy and Seraphina. Taliyah"s parents are fine now I guess since Seraphina is gone.
Art kind of like what he did to the two. He despises those kind of human.
"Just ok. We managed to take care of the situation. " I politely reply to the king.
The announcement he did was also forgotten by the people. Its better this way than having trouble again.

We went out of his room so he could rest.

Gray smiled.
"Ready san?" Jasper asked.
"Where are you two going?" Jayden asked. Gray looked at me, I nodded at him. "Jayden, wanna talk somewhere for a while?"
Al also looked at me wondering what was going on. Should I tell him everything?
"Art, you tell Jasper. I'm with Al. " I said softly. "Don't worry, we'll keep it a secret."
"I'm going to get more in trouble because of you." Art rolled his eyes and put his arm around Jasper who was complaining because Art was supposed to give. They walked away and I held Al"s hands.
"Did I miss something?" he asked me. I didn"t speak first and we went to the garden first. We sat down and talked for a while.
"When did you love me?" I asked her.

Gray was looking down and was surprised when Jayden touched his cheek. Since when is Jayden this brave?

We all laughed. We felt relieved and happy at the same time.
"For the Empire." I whispered. They all smiled at me.
"For the empire." They all said in unison.

"Princess!" I turned to shout. It was Jayden "The Prince wants to see you."
I just nodded. I was in the garden here at Empire. It has been a week since it all happened. The King let me stay at the palace because he wanted to spend more time with me. I don"t know, Al"s been busy lately since he"s the future King. He fixed everything.
Jayden became the head knight in protecting the future King. Gray and Art is Al"s assistant. And Jasper is going to be the head knight of some large army of knights. I was removed in the knight"s position because the King has other plans for me.
I was already walking towards Al's room. I havent seen him for a while. I knocked and went in, I always do it without him getting angry.
"Al?" I will ask.
I was surprised when suddenly someone pulled me to the side of the terrace.
"Hey beautiful. I missed you. " He told me to hug me once.
"Hmmm, missed you too. Where have you been?" I asked her. "I haven't seen you these days."
"Just preparing something." I wondered. "Will you marry me?"
It was a sudded proposal and I was clearly surprised. I mean- I smiled at her and kissed her.
"Of course, yes. I will marry you. We"re destined and connected and we will never ever be separated. I love you "I said to her.
"I love you too," He smirked and snapped his fingers.
"Congratulations !!!" I heard people shouting outside. I was stunned, what the heck? How did they know ?! We"re inside his room-
"I asked Gray to put us LIVE outside so people can see." I glared at him and covered my face.
"Wh- bakittt? It's embarrassing what I said and did Al! " I shouted at him. He laughed and removed my hands from my face. He kissed me. We are still LIVE outside what is he doing ?!
"Let"s go in the terrace. I"m sure people will be happy to meet their future Queen. "
