Jaxon & Jetson sat in their father's office listening to their elated parents gushing over the fact that this sweet little nun was actually their son's fated mate.
"Mother! She will never accept us. She has already made it abundantly clear that her faith and the sisterhood come before anything. She will reject us once she finds out that she can do that and then she'll leave this place without a second thought. Jetson and I have fucking tried with her. We talked to her about the bond and she doesn't want it!" Jaxon stood huffing out in frustration.
"Never say never son. I can promise you that she will not leave here until she fully understands and really feels how strong the mate bond can be. Her life will never be right if she turns her back on this bond and she must be told the seriousness of this before she is allowed to leave." Alpha Nickolas replied, tapping his pen on his desk.
"Really father? We can not hold her hostage here and force her to accept a lycan mate bond when she's a damn Human that just so happens to be an extremely devoted sister of the faith! Are you serious!" Jetson cackled humorously standing to his feet and staring at his father like he had taken leave of his senses.
"Hey! Everyone just hush for a minute and let me think." The Luna raised her voice over the arguing.
"Let me go and speak with her. It's almost dinnertime and I haven't had a chance to really talk to this girl. I'll go get her for dinner but not before she & I have a little heart to heart." Luna Anna raised up from her chair and smoothed out the lines on her dress.
"Please fix this my love. We can't let our boys live life without their fated mate....it will destroy them." Their father called out as the Luna left the office. "Boys.....if your mother can't convince your mate to give this a chance I may have to resort to making her stay here. I won't watch the two of you fall all to hell. Believe me when I say you will wanna die without your mate. Now that you've both found her you won't ever be the same again....you'll both die inside. So hate me if you have to because I will not allow that to happen."Their father sat back giving them both a stern look daring either of them to argue with him.
Jaxon & Jetson knew there was no arguing with their father and strode out of his office without a word. The last thing they wanted was to force their mate to stay here against her will. Goddess knows they'd never intentionally hurt her in any way. All they were asking for was a chance and she wasn't even willing to offer them that.

Jetta woke up alone inside the dimly lit room.
Her belly growled loud. By the looks outside the sliding doors it was already late evening and the veil of night would blanket the earth soon. Emily must have left shortly after she had fallen asleep.
She wondered if everyone had eaten. She'd have to go and find out if the evening meal had been served yet because that's one thing she would not go without. When she got hungry she had to eat or else she'd get down right mad.
She decided to go and take herself a quick shower and put on proper clothing then she'd go and find out about something to eat.
After her shower and dressing in a clean jumper she pinned down her veil and headed to the door. Just as she opened it there stood the lovely Luna Anna with her hand in the air ready to knock.
"Well hello there sweet girl. Don't you look lovely & rested. Are you ready for dinner darling? I believe the cook has prepared his famous lasagna tonight along with a nice salad and some cheese stuffed bread sticks that are to die for. Ohh and the desert is a hot fudge brownie sundae with homemade vanilla bean ice cream and a variety of toppings. It's actually one of my favorites. I'm a slut for chocolate. Oops! Oh my! I'm Sorry. I shouldn't have Said it like that." The Luna covered her mouth snickering.
Jetta couldn't stop herself from laughing at what this beautiful refined lady had just said.
The Luna relaxed a bit when she saw the girl laughing so hard at her unsavory talk of chocolate.
"I am a lover of chocolate as well. So don't feel bad." Jetta replied.
"Oh really....well if that's true you are in the land of Chocolate dreams here sweetie. The hot fudge sundaes are nothing to all the other chocolate delights my cook can create. She makes her own Chocolate and just wait till you wrap your lips around a mouthful of the real stuff. It's almost as good as an orgasm.....almost. You'll see. Come let's go. Who knows maybe I can get you a taste before dinner." The Luna winked, taking her hand and leading her outta her room.
The Luna had succeeded in making Jetta forget all about her problems as she pulled her along behind her inside the kitchen where three cooks were rushing about trying to complete their duties.
The Luna stepped up beside a jolly short little chubby woman and whispered in her ear. Thewoman smiled sheepishly and walked over to a huge walk- in refrigerator and came back out with a small plate that held a dark chocolate brownie sliced with ice cream in the middle and a river of chocolate poured over top. The lady handed Jetta the dessert and a fork. Jetta put a big bite inside her mouth and the explosion of chocolate with the ice cream nearly made her eyes roll back in her head.
"Ohhh myyyy gaaawwd! Mmmmm! Wowww!" Jetta closed her eyes savoring the perfect balance of the desert.
"Mhmm. I told you. Girl you're gonna have to hang around here longer. I'll take you on a chocolate voyage you won't ever forget." The luna smiled wide as the two of them headed for the dining room.
By the time Jetta and Luna Annabelle walked inside the dining area everyone was already seated.
Jaxon & Jetson couldn't help but to stare at their gorgeous mate. Nomatter how hard she tried to hide her beauty it still shined through with whatever she wore.
She slowly walked to the last chair available that just so happened to be between them.
"He...hello sister Jetta. You look lovely." Jetson complemented sweetly , causing her cheeks to redden a bit.
"Thank you. You look nice as well. Both of you." She spoke softly. Maybe if everything went as smoothly as it was right now she'd be able to stay the two days she had planned on. She couldn't forget that only hours ago she was falling all to pieces about these two that sat beside her now. Hopefully nothing more would come of what had happened and they could just let it go. But for some odd reason she wanted to touch them in any way she could. They both looked so sad right now and it was really bothering her.....like horribly bad.
"Did you get a good rest sister Jetta?" Emily asked from across the table.
"Mhm I sure did, and I feel much better." She smiled.
"That's great. I'm so happy to hear it." Emily smiled wide leaning into Pless as he stroked her cheek lovingly.
"Emily we'd like to raise our glasses after everyone gets their cups filled and welcome you. We are so very pleased that you & Pless have found one another dear girl. It's clear to see the love growing between the two of you. Your coming here has been a blessing and we are thankful to add you to our family and pray you both are gifted with little ones that me and the Luna can be adopted grandparents to since our own sons may never be able to give us any themselves unless they too find their fated mates. So...here's to a lifetime of love and a bond that will grow stronger as the years pass. We will consider you like a daughter just as we consider Pless our son. Cheers!" The Alpha ended his speech. Everyone raised their glasses and drank as Pless kissed Emily's cheek.
For the first time Jetta looked closely at Emily and how completely happy she truly was. It made her feel horrible for the way she had spoke to her. Emily was falling in love more & more with this guy every time she saw her....and the way he looked at her was with the most sincere emotions. It made her wonder how it would feel to have a man truly love you like that.
