Chapter 13

We were about to take the elevator and I led him. I hit the parking lot area so we were straight to the bottom.
Inside the elevator almost no one speaks to the two of us. I also didn't want to go first so I just let it go. Eventually the elevator rang and he came out first, I just followed. He was about to get in his car when I stopped him.
"Why sir?" It's an astonishing question. While staring at me.
"Nothing, maybe you just want to get in my car. I know you're tired, it's okay for me to be your driver." my language. While waiting for his answer.
"Isn't it embarrassing sir? And maybe what will other people think of us when they see me in your car." its relaxation.

She had a bit of a point so I just let her get in her car and I walked to my car. I quickly rode and executed it. She left earlier so I'm just following her.
Thank goodness there is no traffic even at rush hour. So we quickly got to the Mall. We entered here together and walked to the playhouse.
When we went inside there was a lot of noise of children playing token games. I remember specifically when I was a child my mom often took me to play houses like this. I lost my mind when Axel called me approaching in my direction.
"Sir pogi. What are you doing here?" he asked while whispering to me. "I knew it, you like my mom." its straightforward language. It's a good thing Andrea just whispered and didn't hear, because by chance I might just go home in shame.
"You're really the naughty naughty you are," I said once, messing up her hair. Which he laughed at.
He pulled me to the opposite side of the basketball.
"Let's play?" its a question.
"Oh! Sure," I said. I don't want to reject the child.
We were playing basketball while Andrea was looking at us. His friend and I were a little far away but he could still see us.
When Axel got tired of playing, he took me to the crane machine and whispered that I would get his mommy a teddy bear for sweet. I just smiled at his thoughts. I invited him to go to the cashier to buy a lot of tokens, because I think I'll be in trouble today.
Axel was next to me as he cheered me on. While I was busy getting the teddy bear from the crane machine, I didn't realize that Andrea and I were approaching. I just heard Axel's chatter and almost took me to the ground in embarrassment.
"Son, what are you going to do sir?" he asked.
"Look mommy, he's taking the teddy bear to give to you. He said he's going to court you," the boy said bluntly.
Suddenly, everyone fell silent at the child's chatter.
"Beshy, I'm going to court you," Tanya teased with a laugh.
Andrea poked his side so he giggled even more.
I cried when I got the teddy bear from under the crane machine.
"For you," I said shyly once I reached here. I am the boss at the hotel but when Andrea is in front of me I lose concentration.
"Thank you," she said. Take a teddy bear in my hand at once.
Everyone was a bit quiet so Axel just said thank you and started eating.
I sent the three of them first and I just followed where they were going. As they walked, the boy suddenly stopped and looked at me. He ran between us and without warning pulled my hand away and wrapped her mommy's hand around ours.
"You look good together," said the mischievous child.
Suddenly, Andrea was released and apologized for what her son had done. I just smiled at him, because in my heart I also wanted what happened.
Because of the awkward moment that happened earlier I barely caught Andrea’s attention while we were eating. So I made the moves for him to talk to me.
"Andrea, how was the inventory a few months ago," none of my own questions.
I caught his attention and looked at me.
"Ano pong inventories sir? About the guest?" it's a question.
"Yes," I answered quickly.
"I submitted it to you last month sir. Did you forget?" It's an astonishing question.
"Ahm! Sorry for the memory gap," I said with a laugh to change the subject. Suddenly, I was embarrassed by my questions that were not included.
"Stevenson, right?" Tanya asked.
"Yes, why?" I ask here.
"Do you know Draeden? Can you tell me anything about him? I just want to know him better," he said bluntly.
I felt that Andrea had stopped taking care of the child and suddenly looked at it.
"What do you want to know about him?" I asked curiously and somewhat wondering how and where he met it. I don't even remember him telling this story about her.
"Ahm! I like what his status is. Is he single or married because you already know. I don't want to hurt other people's feelings," he said bluntly.
"He is single and ready to mingle," I replied.
I saw the radiance in Andrea's eyes. I suddenly wondered if he had feelings for my best friend? I kind of lost my appetite when I saw his reaction.
"Really?" It's a sparing answer and I still don't want to believe what I'm saying.
"Yes! As far as I know. I haven't heard that he has a new girlfriend.
"Really? So I'm not sure I'll be angry that he's flirting with me," he said with a smile.
"Sure," I answered sparingly.
Because I was busy with Andrea's actions especially when her suddenly shy at me. I kept thinking that maybe he really has feelings for Draeden.
"Are you okay beshy?" Tanya asked here.
He just smiled at his friend but the sadness was obvious on his face.
I didn't pay much attention to what Tanya was saying because I was watching Andrea's reaction. He must have noticed that I wasn't interested in what he was saying.
"Are you listening to Stevenson?" it's a question.
"Ha! What did you say?" I asked here but my eyes were focused on Andrea.
"I said you're listening," he replied while also looking at Andrea. Ay! sus type mo best friend ko ano? "he asked and with the strength of his voice I was able to drink water in no time because I saw Andrea look at our behavior, I was embarrassed to hear him.
"No," I answered sparingly.
"Really! If you look at him through and through. If it's just melting, you think my best friend has already melted," he teased.
They’re really Draeden’s thing. So I thought of a plan to build up two more so that I can really marry Andrea. I don't care if he has feelings for my best friend anymore, the important thing right now is that I can make moves to make him fall for me. And I’ll start it with her son. I will show my love to the child when he sees that I accept it.
It's getting late in the afternoon and Axel is obviously tired as he falls asleep on his mommy's lap. I quickly called the crew's attention to pay our bills. Of course I treat them like this. When I had settled everything, my mother let them out. I approached Andrea and lifted Axel, he would have refused but I did not agree.
Tanya also said goodbye because she and Draeden are supposed to meet. All I know is I left it very drunk in my condo. I hope he talks to Tanya.
We walked out of the restaurant together and I put them inside before I could operate it. During the flight we were very quiet and did not say a word until I noticed that Andrea was also asleep and I was free to look at her gentle face who was fast asleep and I was just continuing to finish the drive.
I'm still singing because I'm happy that he's with me today and I hope it happens again and again.
