Alex POV

I ran towards the boarder of my pack in my wolf form. It felt so good to be back home and finally in my rightful position so I used the opportunity to fulfil my plan of inspecting the boarder patrol  and getting information directly form them. They have been sightings of rogues near my boder recently and it's not something I usually take lightly. No matter how lienient I am with ruling my people I do not joke with thier safety.

The bidders needs to be reinforced, since most neighboring packs decoded that j haven't been in the pack for some days they might want to attack. My people are not happy with the whole leaving the pack for so long but I am doing it for a good course. I'm am doing it for the woman that has captured my heart yet successfully destroyed it. Opps sorry I'm over reacting, she has played with every ounce of my love.

Athena is my mate and it's not just easy to let her go just like that. As weird as it may sound, I have fallen in love with every bit of her, even the parts I do not understand or her way of ruling but the moon goddess gave her to me and she has her reason for pairing us together.

I sight the first patrol guard and that made me realize how long I have ran. The guard spots me and quickly bring in a change of clothes for me. It was something crazy I had started when I became alpha, every single patrol guard must have some spare clothes with him or her Incase a wolf decides to change back into his human form, they do not have to walk around naked. The fabrics were specially designed to fit any body type.

I quickly changed into the attire I was provided and met with the other guides that had gathered around.

"Welcome Alpha" they all chorused with thier heads down. 

" Any thing you might want me to know about?" I quickly asked when I smelt Thier discomfort. We were all close as a pack and they respected me as Thier Alpha but we were more like brothers so I knew when they had the slightest form of discomfort.

" alpha we caught some rouge that tried sneaking into the pack and discovered he was working for some sort of little rebellion growing rapidly"

"What sort of rebellion are we talking about?" I asked calmly although it didn't sound so nice. This was not a time for war

" we took him to the cells and interrogated him and after 8 days he finally spoke out and said he was working with a man named Damien and they are planning on distracting other packs with some soerrt of plan while he takes over a pack ruled by a woman, he didn't mention which but we discovered the pack " the tall guard said.

i felt my body go numb and cold. my wolf was restless. Athena trutsted this man and all he was planning to do was over trow her for the throne ? i cannot let that happen to my cara no matter what.

i quickly switched to my wolf form and gave a loud howl.
