Third Person

Julie looks at her best friend, they had her man, and her ex-boyfriend had her boyfriend, it's funny how life has a funny way of proving a point to you, the universe, God was trying to get her to see something, but she didn't know what it was, she should have seen it coming, usually she does but this time she didn't. her best friend killed her boyfriend's baby mama and now they were going to go and rescue her boyfriend. This is how it all started, he needed saving and she did, she remember when she first laid her eyes on him in that parking lot, it was supposed to be a mission, but it turned into more than that.

"Julie, everything will be okay," Mona reassures, "I'm here and we are going to get him back."

Julie gulped down the lump in her throat, Mona gives her a bag, she opens it and there is a change of clothes and some weapons, Julie quickly gets changed and strap in all her weapons, she ties her hair up into a high puff.

"You look good," Mona says with a smile.

"So, what's the plan?"

"Well, Angelo and the other guys are already inside the house, in the basement, he found a way in from underground, he's waiting for us there, Gio will be watching and giving instructions from a hidden location," Mona explains, "McCredie's house is heavily guarded so we need to be careful."

"Where are they holding Vincent?" Julie asks as she puts her gun's safety on.

"Upstairs in McCredie's office," she says.

Julie nods, "Good, you handle the guards and I'll go get Vincent,"

"Julie you-

"It's not up for debate Monica, I have to go get him," she says firmly.

"Okay, okay, just be safe, okay?"

The car stopped and Julie jumps out, she looks around her surroundings, they weren't far from their home, just one whole forest away, Julie sighs, if he was hurt, she'll have to go through there if there are no cars. Angelo makes an appearance and greets the women; he leads them to the hidden entrance, and they walk through the tunnel.

"Everybody, the mission is to get Vincent out, kill anyone or anything that gets in the way, including McCredie, understood?"

"Si Capo," they all salute.

"Alright, let's rumble bitches,"

They all move into the house and once, they are in the basement, they are greeted by heavily armed guards, shots begin to fire and Julie, moves deeper into the house, with her gun in hand, she quietly moves up the stairs, she opens the door and holds her gun out in front of her, she sees a guard at the bottom of the halfway, to avoid unnecessary attention, she puts a silencer on her gun and takes aim for the guards head, she pulls the trigger and the guard drops to the floor with a thud.

She moves down the hall and into another passage, there isn't any sign of guards so she keeps moving, until she sees stairs, that's where Vincent should be, and it is heavily guarded, she sees about a dozen guards, all armed, she's going to need a deterrent, she needs to get them down here so she can get up there.

She lifts her gun and aims for a guard who is close to the rails, she fires, and it hits the guard right under his chin, blood splatter out from the top of his head and he drops, guards run towards the rails and a few of them aim and when on spots her, he begins to shot at her, Julie takes cover.

"Show yourself or we are coming for you," a man yells.

"Why don't you just come and find me?" Julie replies with a laugh.

She hears footsteps coming from the stairs and gets her gun ready, she pulls out another gun and gets ready for a gun war, she steps out of the corner and starts firing her gun, aiming for the head, as she ducks and covers, she runs to the other side of the stairs where there are fewer men and starts shooting at them, she shoots one in the head, the other in the leg and one in the arm, she climbs up the stairs and she gets grazed by a bullet on the side of her arm, she winces in pain but carries on up the stairs, where she's greeted by three guards.

"This isn't a fair fight boy," she says, "But heck, I love a challenge, she shoots one guard in the head, and he falls but she's quickly apprehended and one of her guns is kicked out of her hands, she does a roundhouse kick and kicks on man in the chest, and he staggers backwards.

"So, you wanna fight huh?" the man says, "Let's fucking fight,"

The two men drop their guns on the floor and Julie smirks, just what she wanted, she brings her fist in front of her hands and both men charge at her, she grabs one by the arm, punches him in the face and kicks the other to the ground, she pulls out a knife and slashes the man she punched in the throat, blood splatters onto her face, and she gags, she's always hated the sight of blood.

The other man gets up and kicks her in the back and she drops to the floor, she's winded, and she struggles to get up but before she can get on her feet, he kicks her again in the stomach and she drops on the floor again, she groans in pain.

"Not so tough now, aren't ya princess?" the man laughs, he grabs her by her hair and looks at her, "Oh you're a pretty one, I'll have fun with you."

Julie spits in his face and punches him in the groin, the man groans and staggers back, "You little bitch,"

"Men like you, deserve to die," she says and punches him in the face and then kicks him in the face, she looks at him as he groans, lying on the ground, whimpering like a wounded dog, "Too bad I have to put you down."

And she shoots him in the head.

She wipes the blood off her face with the inside of her arm and walks to the door, she kicks it open and finds Vincent, tied to a chair, with Carmen holding a gun to his head.

"Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise," McCredie grins, "I thought they had killed you."

"Well, you know me, Thomas, I don't die that easily," Juliet replies.

"Well now that you're here, you can watch me kill your beloved boyfriend," he says. Carmen takes the gun's safety off and gives me a smirk.

Vincent, screams through the cloth wrapped over his mouth, trying to free himself, Julie could tell by the look in his eyes that he was terrified.

"Don't worry baby, I've got this," Julie says and Vincent suddenly relaxes.

"You know every time I see you, I realize that I dodged a bullet with you, I mean you are so terrible at everything, you can't even get yourself a real woman, you have to get yourself another man's sloppy seconds," Julie laughs, "That's a downgrade babe, even you have to admit it."

Carmen keeps the gun pointed at Vincent but her emotions where changing.

"I mean look at her, skinny, no ass, no titties, I also bet she can't even fight, with the press on nails," she presses.

"Kill her," Carmen orders, "Or I will."

"Calm down baby, don't let her get to you," Thomas says, as he walks towards me.

"Oh, now you're going to fight her battle too, then she really can't fight," Julie laughs, "Some of your mafia women are pitiful."

Carmen removes the gun from Vincent's head and points it at me, Thomas turns around and looks at his lover.

"Carmen, put that gun down," he yells.

"Oh, now you're defending her?" Carmen yells.

"No baby, I'm not,"

In one quick motion, Julie puts her arm over Thomas' neck, she points her gun to his head, "Now Carmen, if you want your sorry excuse for a man to live, you will drop the gun."

"No!" she moves the gun back to his head, and the look on her face told Julie that if she made one wrong move, he was dead.

"Carmen, I know you still love Vincent, otherwise you would have killed him by now," Julie says calmly.

"I could say the same to you," she counters.

From the corner of Julie's eye, she could see someone approaching she wasn't sure who it was, but she was hoping it was either Angelo or Monica.

Thomas elbows Julie in the stomach and she releases him and clutches her stomach, "Fuck."

"Shoot him," Thomas commands.

Carmen freezes, she looks at Vincent and tears well up in her eyes, Julie wasn't wrong she still had feelings for him, she hurt him she knew that, but she still loved him.

"Carmen now!"

Thomas frustrated takes the gun from her and pulls the trigger, Thomas sticks, he looks down at his chest and sees a bullet wound, he looks at Julie and drops to the floor. Julie rushes over to Vincent and cuts the ties, he slumps down to the ground and that's when she realizes that he's been shot, the bullet seems to have hit his head.

"NO, Vince!"
