DOCTOR'S FEE INCIDENT 20

LAURA DIDN'T ANSWER Clyde's call. He was currently in the kitchen when Tejie arrived.

"Doc? Why are you still here? You have a meeting today, don't you? " Tejie asked, apparently noticing that he was constantly dialing on his phone.
"Are you calling Irene?"
Clyde let out a deep breath.
"How deep! It's Laura, I'm sure," he smiled.
"She doesn't answer at all. This girl is so lazy! She doesn't like answering texts and calls," replied Clyde.
"Really? When a woman is like that, Doc, she's not interested!"
Clyde looked at Tejie.
"Because Doc—if she's interested? She will press the answer button quickly or reply in split seconds. Get it?" Tejie smiled.
Clyde didn't speak; he just frowned.
"So?"
Clyde also answered, "So?"
"So she's not that into you! Do you get it? " Tejie still smiled. "Wait a minute, Clyde wasn't that stupid; you keep calling her but she doesn't answer; it's not a waste of time pressing the button; just keep talking while doing something," Tejie smirked.
"Even if you guys have sex," Clyde raised an eyebrow in question.
"Yes, even!" Tejie answered quickly.
"Even if you're not just having sex? I mean, it was wild; we were doing it wild!" Clyde explained.
"Yes, Doc! No matter how wild your bed scene is, it doesn't mean that she has feelings for you and you are her priority! You're used to only fuckin' one hole. That's why you're like that! It doesn't mean she's really into you, sex doesn't define it!"
"Like that? I don't get it, Tej," Clyde's face turned serious.
"Yes, that's right! It's not that I want you to overthink it! In your case, because Laura is—it's like—it's like she's just paying back what you gave her, do you get it?" Tejie stood up and took two bottles of beer from the fridge. "It's like a doctor's fee!" he said, handing Clyde a bottle. "Imagine you paid her hospital bills, gave her money, and provided her with a place to stay. Well, she has nothing else to return to you, so she's just making you happy, and that's the way I see it. Just to say "Thank you, Doc!"
Clyde drank his beer.
"So, brother—stop expectations, okay? You almost traded Irene for Laura, who you don't even know if she loves you or if she can fight for you if her husband ever comes! " Tejie shook his head. "You might get hurt there, young guy! I told you to tease someone older than you but not fall in love with them!"

Clyde drank one after the other, then dropped the bottles that almost fell to the floor.

"You know, bro, why can't you be naughty at least once in a while? You've been so nice since we were kids! You've often been mistaken for gay because of your behavior and attitude! They keep taking advantage of you, "explained Tejie.

Clyde didn't smile anymore. His mind was already running far away when that happened.

"Clyde, you shouldn't take everything in life seriously. Look at me. I don't have a problem. I just go with the flow!" Tejie shrugged his shoulders. "Do the same, play along, so there's no regret. I don't want to settle for one."

"Huh?" Clyde gazed with a gazeless stare.
"Yes, Doc! Don't be serious! Laura doesn't love you, just keep in mind that she is paying you back for all your goodness. Don't give meaning to everything. Irene is there, just focus on her."
"Tej, but I'm happy when I'm with her. "I don't just feel lust," said Clyde. "I think she's the same with me—she's happy when she's with me too."
"Shh! You're happy because you and Irene have a problem and you saw Laura as an escape. She's happy because you're helping her. Try to fix Irene! You'll be happier," Tejie explained. "All the trouble will disappear from your mind"
"I don't want Tej! I'm going to break up with Irene," Clyde answered. "I'm not happy with her anymore. You know the reason, right?"
"Your fuck! Irene and you have been together for so long. Think about it, Clyde! Then what? You're going to Laura? Stupid! I don't know what's got into you," Tejie said. "Don't just use your dick's head. It doesn't know how to think; it just spits when fuckin' happy! Use that!" he pointed at Clyde's head before punching Clyde's shoulder.
Clyde was left to think. He was holding on to his hair and was clearly out of the mood.

TEJIE WAS CURRENTLY in deep sleep when he was forced to get up due to the phone ringing one after another.
"Agh... Ugh! Who is this? "Fuck!" he whispered, irritated.
He crawled over to the cell phone that was sitting on top of his cabinet.
"Who is this?" One eye is still closed while looking at the phone. "Just a number?" he pressed to answer. "Hello?" he frowned. "Yes? Yes—Tuason? Doctor Tuason? What? Where? "
Tejie received a call from an officer saying that Doctor Tuason was at the police station.

"Doctor Tuason is at the police station again! Fuck doc! What have you done? How much was the damage again? UGH!"
