He tensed and then passed his eyes between Rex and Carl , not knowing what to say.
"Carl, my little one, don't do this... your dad actually... regrets it."
Rex was astonished and for some reason his raging current started to gradually decrease.
"my father.."
"Don't say something Carl, I could have changed Regent...but I chose the worse path.. Nicholas was trying his best, if I helped him and didn't really plan what I did... Did you really intend to kill Rex? Or suicide? I don't I know how you feel about Rex so I don't know what you were up to... but quit both, okay?"
Carl felt an amount of tenderness emanating from his father.
"I.." It was Rex and Thomas turned to him.
He came close to him and looked directly into his eyes.
"Do you know why I called you Rex?"
Rex nodded.
"Regent said that if there were names in your world, you would name them."
Rex was surprised and looked toward Thomas.
"My father said this?"
"You look so cute all of a sudden and I just almost...me." He paused, looking into Thomas' eyes , He felt a look of sincere tenderness which made him swallow his saliva with strange suspicion as he saw a glint of gray in Thomas' green eye.
"Yeah, I just called you what Regent wanted."
"A.. Is.. Is my dad..."
Thomas's eyes watered, causing both Carl and Rex to be surprised.
Thomas stood, turned his body, grabbed Carl by the arm, and dragged him out with a strange cruelty and calmness.
Carl was looking back at Rex , When their eyes met, Rex lowered his gaze.. Carl looked in the other direction.
He was just a moment ago planning to sign Carl and wipe him out of existence.
And Carl, on the other hand, was a case.
It's been many years since he's been in the same circle.
Since his ex-wife got pregnant with twins, he has been swirling around the same problems for the same source..
Regent... and his children after him...
Sixteen years have passed already. His son is almost seventeen.
He pushed him forcefully into his room as he stared at him with anger and sparks emanating from his eyes.
"Do you intend to commit suicide Carl !" Then all the effort he put in for this son would be naught.
Carl grabbed his arm because his father was holding it tight.
"Dad, he intends to kill me but I wanted to turn it around on him!"
Thomas was astonished, then put his hand on his face in grief, how much his son resembled him!+
He was planning to kill Regent the way Regent wanted to kill him.. He planned just as now Carl is planning and thinking.
"Then how could he be so confident in me that I showed him no interest other than insulting and hitting him, he was the one who offered me to complete the contract."
" Carl ...don't think about it again , do your best to stay away from Rex, the contract might happen automatically without him asking."
Carl at this moment remembered Phoenix , Something like this could have happened to him.
"Dad... how did you know I was in Rex's basement?"
Is that really what he's asking about at a time like this?
Thomas took a listening device out of his pocket.. Then he put it back in his pocket, and she just took no notice.
"You trusted me to take care of things so please leave what you carry on me."
"Not after I found out that you were more reckless than your father, I applauded my childhood friend and never dared to go into his world."
"You wanna go!? Daddy, let's go take a ride together," said Carl, with sudden enthusiasm and silence when he saw the sharp looks of his father.
"I was kidding my dad," he said, evading the scolding.
Thomas laughed lightly at his son's quick response while Carl was surprised by his father.. reasonable! His father's nocturnal character.
Thomas hugged him suddenly.
"Okay baby, sleep now, we'll have a long day tomorrow."
"Dad, are you okay?"
"Yeah fine, let's sleep, tomorrow is long." Then he left, humming amid Carl's astonishment at his father's behavior..
The next morning, the sun's rays trickled down to the faces of Erin and Eric who fell asleep in one place after their mother opened the blinds.
"Wake up now!"
Erin freaked out while sitting, Erik bored to the other side.
"What's up mom!" Irene said as he looked at his mother.
"Your annoying teacher is downstairs, get up for your lessons."
Eric woke up bored and dragged himself out to go to his room while Eren jumped out of bed worried looking at his watch.. How could he be late for his teacher!
Quickly prepare Eric to meet Nicholas.
"Sorry for the delay." He bowed lightly.
"Where's the other one?"
"Well he's on his way here... What do you think, sir, next time lessons are in my father's mansion library , I'm used to being in his offices, and also Carl will be with us there."
"Carl's lessons are different from yours, so I'm not currently thinking of group lessons, and...if your lesson was there we would never have started...your teacher arrived and you're still in a deep sleep" He raised an eyebrow in disapproval as Irene returned his apology.
Then they sat down and started the lesson. Before Eric came, Erin couldn't focus with his teacher.
He let out a sigh as Nicholas looked at him coldly.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to let the things around you affect your walk , we may face many things in our lives , you just have to walk forward no matter what you face , let nothing stop you"
"Professor, how does my father write his memoirs?"
A little silence...didn't he just hear him? Here he is asking what's on his mind according to.
"Irene, you're punished."
Irene stood in shock.
"Why!!?"
"You have to copy this book." He took out a book on the etiquette of dialogue from his bag.
"I'm sorry, teacher," he said sadly, picking up his book, knowing that nothing could lift the professor's punishment.
"You're out of lessons until you've finished transcribing it , go get your late Bayric."
Erin stood up in annoyance, he's attached to Nicholas' lessons, so he's just going to stay with this book until he finishes a copy quickly and gets back to the lessons..
He went out looking for Eric, then stood up looking at his mother filing her fingernails.
"Mom, where's Eric? It's late."
"Has he not entered the teacher yet!" She said it in astonishment and then nodded, she didn't know where he had suddenly disappeared, I thought he was with Irene at the professor.
Irene sighed and then went up to Irina's room, quietly entering her to see her reading a novel.
He walked and sat next to her and she turned to him when she felt his presence.
"Did Eric come here?"
[Actually he gave me my father's note and then told me he was going to visit him]
"Escape from the lesson!!"

Thomas entered the room of his son, who was still lying in bed, though he was awake.
"Didn't I tell you that the day is long, why do I see you still in your bed?"
"What are we going to do, dad?" Sarhan said it while looking at the ceiling.
"You will come with me to work"
Carl was surprised and sat up looking at his father in amazement.
"did not?!!"
"Get ready..." Thomas left silently while Carl started to change his clothes and get himself ready and then came down and saw Eric talking to his father and did not notice his presence..
"Dad, what will it hurt you if we go back? It's not like we're out of danger! It won't hurt you if you bond with my mom again!"
"Eric, stop it. I told you it's better. Don't bother me with reordering. Leave now, I'm going to work."
Eric fell silent after noticing Carl's presence and looked at his cold eyes, did he hear them?
"Living like this alone with my father is better than seeing that snake every day." Of course he said it to himself, as he pretended he hadn't heard anything.
Thomas walked out ignoring Eric, and Carl walked out after him.
"I know you overheard the conversation," Thomas said after they got into the car.
"and what?"
"I'm not going back to her so don't worry , I've resolved to evacuate for you."
"You're really starting to express yourself, Dad."
"I'm just sad about Daniel's death , I won't wait for you to go too," he said softly, looking forward.
Carl was silent too, then looked out the window beside him , Did his father regret keeping his feelings for Daniel?
Does his father now wish he could turn back time and tell Daniel how much he misses him and that he has been wishing to see him since Regent kidnapped him?
Is he now crossing over to Carl and protecting him more because the four-way contract is coming to an end?
So when will all of this end?
They arrived at the work site and Thomas began to work and even teaches Carl and the other began to learn without complaining or objection..
In fact, he really liked this going out with his father.
He feels happy and does not know whether he has the right to be happy that his father is here with him alone!
At the moment, he hopes it lasts for a long time

He kept working with his father and in these moments he forgot everything, and kept straining himself until he fell asleep on his father's office sofa.
Eric was disappointedly walking back to his mother's house until he was surprised to find Phoenix flying in front of him.
"What do you command that I may turn these features of grief and sorrow to you?"
Eric is silent and still surprised, he doesn't see Phoenix much as he is representing Rex's place in his world but to appear while he has just finished his father's note makes him unprepared for what it should be..
Eric smiled at him, as he sowed inwardly a seed of hatred for these creatures that had turned their family's life upside down.. his inner hatred for Carl was even more so.. not as if he had gone away when he had begun to acclimatize a little to him he was just making a truce for some common interests. ..
But perhaps these creatures also take credit for his raison d'être , Did not his father separate from Carl's mother and marry their mother because of them and he is now in this life because of this marriage?
"Phoenix , can you tell me about Irina"s life in your world? Do you know anything about it?"
"I don't really know, but I can search."
"No need, I'm going to have a private session with my sister... Now, Phoenix, I want you to make a wish for me."

But his belief was wrong , He opened the door forcefully after breaking the lock and found his younger brother..
"What... what?!!! Brother!!" Phoenix said unexpectedly, he just came to check out the basement, if it was a good environment to torture Carl?
"Who got your power out of control..and...you"re also so tightly bound and..." He looked nervous and worried about something..but Rex didn't respond..
Phoenix swallowed his saliva, who can do this to his brother..
Phoenix walked out, shutting the door behind him, and then supported him until he got down to his seat.
He put his hands on his head, muttering in disbelief.
