Chapter Forty one

"Oh my god,you killed them ,Nick, you killed them !",I scream.
" Shhhhh , don't raise your voice at me sweetheart",he says and drags me by the hair into the warehouse.My head burns from the force he's using and I try to remove his hands but he pushes me to the ground and I land on my arm,I feel a sharp pain and sit up and hold my arm,as tears run down my face.
"I told you to come alone,but you didn't listen,see how angry you make me!",he screams and pulls at his hair,then he takes a deep breath and straightens his clothes,
"Don't cry lotus I'm sorry I over reacted ,see you make me crazy",he says and reaches for me but I flinch because how he suddenly changed his attitude frightened me.
"Look I already sent the location of your daughter",he pauses and smiles" our daughter",he continues"so stop crying my love we've been reunited and you're all mine we should be happy",he says and helps me up.
" But the bomb",I whisper.
"Oh see here's how things are,I won't press this little button here and blow our dear Daughter up,so it's up to the detectives pray that their are not stupid and they manage to diffuse it correctly but if they make mistake then that will be unfortunate,now enough with the tears before I change my mind",he says and forcefully kisses me.
" What happened to you Nick ,this is not you , you're not okay and I can help you",I say after he lets go of me.
" What happened to me !?",he says and laughs and pulls out a gun and shoots near my foot making me jump" you happened,you made me crazy because you didn't love me Lotus, I'm supposed to be the love of your life ,you promised,I made a mistake but if you love someone you forgive them!",he screams and hits his head a few times.
"It's all your fault,I mean look at that idiot Luciano,you hurt the guy so much, you're the one that needs help Lotus,this is happening because of you always remember that, it's all your fault,but now you're mine ,if I can't have you no one will not even your children",
I can't help but cry. He's not well and I hate him for making my child go through hell but I feel sorry for him. I no longer recognize this man in front of me.
"I can help you Nick , you're not well,just hand yourself in. I promise I won't let you go to jail and I'll get you the best help",I try to reason with him.
" Ha ,you think I'm that stupid,you know me better than this Lotus,now enough talking, let's go we're running out of time",he says and grabs my arm and drags me out of the warehouse to the dock,I see a boat,I wonder if they've managed to remove the thing off of my child and I hope she's safe and in her father's arms, Luciano is the only one that will be able to comfort her at this moment.
"I can't wait to start my life with you and you sure look sexy in that dress,you look like an evil enchantress",he says and kisses me again.
Just then he slaps me across the face " When I kiss you I expect you to kiss me back as well,I can't wait to have a taste of your body again",he says and licks me across the face.
And continues dragging me to the boat,I try struggling but he slaps me again.
"Lotus!", someone shouts and Nick turns and fires at the person and pushes me behind some barrows. What the hell is Luciano doing here? How did he find me. Just the Luciano shoots at Nick who's hiding with me.
"Give up Nick, the police will be here any minute", Luciano shouts.
But Nick pulls my hair and holds me by the neck" I must have it to you Ricci, you're a smart one I didn't even detect you ,but you see this woman here she's mine and is leaving with me".
" Calm down principessa the police will be here any minute", Luciano says to the frightened me. What is he doing here? I know Nick won't kill me but I'm not sure about him.
Just then a loud sound breaks the silence and helicopters shine down on us with officers with guns aiming at me and Nick.
"I love you Lotus and since you can't love me then I'll just take away the one you love",he kisses my neck and aims his gun to Luciano everything happens  slowly "see you in hell Luciano",he says and fires,I elbow him and run to Luciano but it's too late he's already been shot.
Nick is shot in the leg and is disarmed.
I rush to Luciano who is on the ground" no please,oh God no,stay with me my love, don't die on me",I say and place his head on my lap.
" She's a safe principessa, she's okay, don't worry about me",he says and spits out blood. "Tell me where it hurts, don't you die on me "I try to stop the blood coming from the wound on his chest.
Just then paramedics get down from the helicopter and take him away. I'm by his side all the way "hang in there, don't you dare die on me Luciano,I can't live without you",I say. We reach the heli-pad of the hospital and he's rushed into the emergency room.
"Lotus thank God", Enzo says as he hugs me"how's Luciano?",he asks and I can't find the words to tell him and just sob"it's okay he's going to be fine".
"How's Mari where is she?",
" She's being examined, she's with your parents",he says.
" I'll get the doctor's to give you a check up",he says.
" No I'm fine, please take me to Mari '',I say but I'm interrupted by " mommy!".
I turn and see my parents walking over with Mari in my dad's arms. She wiggles and frees herself from his arms and runs towards me. How is she so energetic after what she went through?
"Oh my love",I say and pick her up and shower her with kisses"I'm glad you're okay,are you okay where does it hurt?",I ask her.
" I'm fine mommy I was scared when I didn't see you ,uncle Nick said he'd take you away forever and I'll never see you again",she says and tightly wraps her chubby hands around my neck.
"Oh dear mommy will never leave you, I'll always be here",I say and kiss her forehead.
" Mom!",Liam shouts and runs into my embrace.And another set of arms encircle me "oh lotus my God , don't you ever put yourself at risk again,I thought I lost my ATM", Giovanna says and I chuckle " I love you too Giovanna,where are the twins?",I ask.
" Don't worry they are safe and sound",she says, ``that's good." How's Luciano?",she asks.
"I don't know they've been there for a while now",I saw and more tears rolled down my face.
"This is all your fault,if Luciano dies I swear", Courtney who just arrived yells and points at me.
Liam dashes towards her and pushes her to the ground with full force"Bitch!",he yells probably a word he heard from school.
Giovanna breaks into a laugh and Edward shakes his head "what , you're no fun at all",she says, sometimes I wonder why these two are dating.
"Liam ,that's no way to behave with a lady , apologize",my dad reprimands him as he helps Courtney get up.
"Your children have no manners at all just like you",she says and I'm about to rush at her and scratch her face off but the door to the emergency room opens and the doctor walks out.
"I believe you're the family of the patient,he is now out of danger, we managed to stop the internal bleeding,he is still in critical condition but we'll have to wait how he responds for the next 48 hours,we will be transferring him to the ICU",he says.
" Doctor can we see him I ask", with a now sleeping Mari in my arms.
"Yes but I can only allow one person at a time,you can follow me",he says and I hand Mari to Enzo. " Why does she have to be the one to be the first to see him, I'm his fiancee", Courtney complains.
" Shut up ,or else you'll be the next one to enter the emergency room ", Giovanna threatens her.
" Relax Courtney you'll see him, I'm sure Lotus is the person Luciano needs the most right now",Enzo says.
I change and wear the isolation gown ,mask , gloves and shoes covers that they give me they give me and I'm lead into his room,my heart stops as I see him connected with all those machines and tubes.i hold his hand in mine and kiss it "you have to fight and get better Luciano, everyone needs you here,I need you,I can't live without you my love,think of our children,Liam, Marianna, Antonio and Angelo they need their father and I need the love of my life,so don't you dare die on me",I say and his finger moves a little,I think he can hear me " yes,my love I'll be right here waiting, your family will be right here waiting for you",I say and a nurse tells me it's time up and I have to leave which I'm reluctant to do.
He will get better and we will work through everything and sort everything out so we can be a family again.
