Chapter 49

It was their last full day on the island.
Cora hated that her first thought on waking was a sad one. Today was Val's birthday, and she wanted it to be perfect, not wasted with regrets.
With that in mind, she pushed back the covers, and before he fully woke up, she took the tip of his semi-erect cock into her mouth and sucked.
"Oh heart, good morning to you too." As he spoke, he hardened further.
Cora wrapped her hands around his erection and continued to suck on the fat purple glans as she stroked his shaft.
Val buried his hands in her hair and gripped her head, helping set the rhythm as he fucked her mouth.
Cora couldn't believe how aroused she was just going down on him, but sucking him had her wet and aching. She added more suction and more pressure from her hands, making him groan.
"I'm going to come down your throat if you don't stop." He grunted the words of warning, even as he held her head to his groin.
She pulled back just enough to circle his tip with her tongue and murmur, "Good."
Then she went back to sucking him off. It didn't take long before he bellowed, arched up off the bed and filled her mouth with hot, thick semen. She swallowed eagerly, relishing the earthy, bitter taste of him. As soon as he caught his breath, he flipped them both over and returned the favor.
"Happy birthday," she murmured later when they lay together, panting, against the pillows.
"Mmm. Best one I can remember." He kissed her deeply then lay back and laced his hands behind his head. "I've got a question for you. I found out this cottage is available for the next week. Since you're still on vacation, want to stay a little longer? I promise, Cora, I can afford it without a qualm."
She blinked at him, breathless. She'd gotten so worked up about leaving tomorrow, but she really could only nod. This interlude was too magical for her to want it to end.
"Good." He kissed her again and bounded out of bed. "I'll make the calls while you take your shower. You've got your appointment for your piercing in an hour or so." With that reminder, he left the room looking as happy as a kid with a new bike. Cora was smiling herself as she washed off and dressed then joined him on the patio for breakfast.
Making Val smile felt good - it felt right. She only wished she could spend the rest of her life bringing that look of happiness to his changeable eyes.
She reminded herself of that later as she lay on a table, letting a technician pierce her clitoral hood. It didn't really hurt, and the tiny gem was adorable, but it was a little bit scary. Thinking of the appreciation on Val's face when he saw it, though, was enough to get her through the process.
Val had a mission while Cora was having her piercing done. It seemed unfair that she was getting something done for him without him returning the favor. The resort boasted a discreet tattoo shop, and he ducked in there for a bit, grinning like an idiot. He left with a bandage on his shoulder and a smile on his face. He hoped Cora liked tattoos.
He was back to the bungalow before her and discovered that an envelope had arrived in the mail, oddly enough from the Virgin Islands courthouse over on St. Thomas. He pulled out the documents and read them.
Evidently, he and Cora had been approved for a marriage license.
One he hadn't even applied for.
He hid the documents and opened his laptop. Sure enough, there was the email from Compu-Cupid.
"From: Compu-Cupid
To: Valentine Holiday
Eros has determined that you might be in need of some paperwork. It should be arriving forthwith. Don't worry - it's legitimate.
Thank you for choosing Compu-Cupid to find your perfect mate."
Well, then. He took a deep breath and closed his computer. Now all he had to do was convince Cora.
Her clit was a teeny bit sore, but Cora wasn't going to let that stop her from making Val's birthday one to remember. She ducked into the sex toy shop and picked out a little red and black nightie and some matching crotchless panties that would show off the jewel nicely. A little numbing lotion would take care of the slight pain. In the jewelry shop, she found a titanium heart-shaped keychain and had it engraved with his initials. She hoped the echoing theme would be a good reminder for him of their magical getaway.
They spent the afternoon out and about with other guests on a dolphin-watching tour with a picnic lunch on a nearby island and a stop for some deep-water snorkeling. Val wore a snug nylon swim shirt over his trunks, which was odd, but she didn't say anything - maybe he'd been starting to get sunburned. She didn't swim at all, not wanting to get saltwater on the fresh piercing.
Oddly, they kept their distance from one another as they dressed later for dinner in the resort's finest restaurant. Val had rented a tux, and he'd talked her into buying a gown, which scared her because he hadn't even let her look at the price tags. It was his birthday, though, and she didn't have it in her to say no to anything he asked.
