Chapter 51: I Trust You
*Jasmine*
“I’ll be right back.” Zain rose from his seat and headed straight for the counter.
She took another gulp of her Margarita, letting the sweet liquid work its magic, relaxing her. Jasmine smiled as she watched Zain at the counter, guessing she opened her mouth too soon.
Zain sat in front of her a moment later with a take-out container and set it to the side. “For when you’re ready to go.”
She nodded, smiling as her nervousness threatened to return. “Let’s finish our drinks first, then we won’t have to leave our room the whole weekend.”
He chuckled as he took another sip of his beer. “Are you sure you don’t want to see some sights while we’re here?”
“The only thing they want to see is you naked on our bed.” Jasmine didn’t know where this sudden burst of courage had come from, but she liked it. It must have been the Margarita.
Zain laughed, rolling his eyes. “You know how to make a man squirm. Don’t you?”
“Let’s finish our drinks and get out of here.”
She didn’t have to tell him twice.
Zain downed his beer in one go as she drank as much of her Margarita as she could, not wanting to get a brain freeze. Zain had packed up the nachos while he waited, giving her a sexy look as his eyes met hers. “For later, in case we get hungry.” He shrugged.
Jasmine nodded, smiling as she took a few more gulps. Then she pushed back her chair and rose to her feet. “Ready?”
Zain nodded as he got to his feet and took her hand. Exhilaration ran through her as he picked up the container of nachos and rushed with her toward the elevator.
“Let’s take it slow,” she breathed, her voice low as they waited for the elevator.
He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed her head. “Of course.”
When the door opened, an older couple walked out, smiling when they saw Zain and Jasmine. “You just got married?” the woman asked, smiling from ear to ear. “Congratulations!”
“Thank you,” Jasmine replied, smiling politely, even though they were in a hurry to get back to their room.
Zain placed his hand on Jasmine’s back and tried to walk past them, but the woman stopped them.
“I remember when we got married. In fact, it was forty years ago today.” She sighed, a faraway look in her eyes. “We came back for our anniversary.”
“Congratulations,” Zain said flatly. “If you’ll excuse us—”
“Dear,” the woman’s husband said, his voice low. “They’re in a hurry.”
“Oh!” her eyes widened. “So sorry! Don’t let us keep you!” Then she placed her hand on Jasmine’s arm. “One piece of advice I can give you that worked for us was never to let an argument carry over to the next day.” She shrugged. “After you have an argument, just act like it never happened.” Her smile touched her eyes. “Like they say, love means never to have to say you’re sorry!”
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Jasmine smiled politely. “Enjoy your stay, and Happy Anniversary!”
“Thank you… you, too!” the woman replied. “Er… congratulations!”
“Come along dear.” Her husband gave us a knowing smile as he escorted his wife away.
Jasmine and Zain darted into the elevator and quickly hit the up and close door buttons.
Zain glanced over at Jasmine, and they burst out laughing.
“Well, that was embarrassing.” Jasmine blushed.
“Don’t worry about it.” Zain placed his big hands on her hips, pulling her to him. “We’re married now. We’re legal.”
Jasmine giggled. “You’re right.”
This time, they didn’t make out in the elevator like they had before. As soon as the doors opened, Zain took her hand and rushed her to their room.
“Wait here.” Zain walked in first and set the container of nachos in the refrigerator. Then he returned to the door and swept her into his arms, causing her to giggle.
“What’s this?” Jasmine asked as he carried her inside, kicking the door closed behind them.
“I’m carrying you over the threshold.” A sexy grin spread across his lips. “I’m nothing if not traditional.”
A pang of guilt rushed through her as she thought of what was to come on Monday. But she quickly pushed the thought aside, wanting to enjoy this moment with Zain. For they were both here now, creating memories together she was sure would last a lifetime.
His lips crushed down onto hers as he held her in his arms. When he pulled back, his eyes filled with so much love she thought her heart would burst receiving it. Then he stood her on her feet and placed his hands on her cheeks as he looked deeply into her eyes. Then he gave her one last sweet kiss. “I’m going to take it slow, but I want you to tell me if I hurt you.”
Jasmine shook her head, smiling nervously as she touched his cheek. “You won’t hurt me. I trust you.”
“I love you, Jasmine,” he said, gazing into her eyes.
“I love you, too… always.”
Zain pressed his lips to hers as he pulled her to him and slowly unzipped her dress, causing her breath to quicken. He kissed down her neck and shoulders, letting the dress fall to the floor, leaving her in her matching white silk bra and panties.
“God, you’re gorgeous,” he breathed as he slid off his suit coat and hung it over a chair, leaving her standing in the middle of the room, dressed only in her bra and panties. Then he started to unbutton his dress shirt, but she quickly closed the distance between them.
“Come here.” With trembling hands, she unbuttoned his shirt, one button at a time, watching as his tanned, muscular chest was slowly revealed. Then she kissed his neck as she reached down and unzipped his trousers, letting his cock spring free. “You are one sexy man.”
He let his pants fall to the floor, along with his boxers and then his socks and shoes. He stood before her completely nude, and God was he gorgeous! All the years of training and baseball had paid off.
Jasmine’s heart hammered as she stepped closer to him, her eyes never leaving his. Being a virgin and never having felt a man’s intimate touch before, she should have felt nervous, but she wasn’t. Not with Zain. Here she was, standing in front of him, her husband, completely unafraid. And no matter what happened Monday, he would always be her husband in her heart.
Zain held her gaze with a gentle intensity that made her heart leap. He placed a tender hand on her face as a wave of elation washed over her. He ran a fingertip along her jaw, traced the line of her lips, his touch was so gentle and light that it almost tickled.
Heat radiated from his body as desire rose within her. Jasmine wanted him beyond all measure. In fact, she had never wanted anyone more in her life and she doubted that she ever would again. Zain leaned in to kiss her, his eyes never leaving hers, and she surrendered to him, melting in his embrace.
He pressed his lips to hers as desire flooded her body. When she parted her lips for him, his tongue swept over hers, and he deepened the kiss as passion overtook them both. She relished tasting him as she melted into him, her body responding to his touch. His hands moved down her back, wrapping around her waist, and pulled her closer. His hard cock pressed against her stomach as her desire grew and intensified.
Then he reached behind her and undid her bra, letting it fall to the floor, leaving her standing before him, wearing only her panties as she began to tremble. He kissed down her neck to her breasts and sucked and tongued, first one nipple, then the other, going straight to her sex.
Zain pulled back slightly, his lips parted as he whispered soft words of love. His breathing was ragged, and his eyes were hooded, filled with longing. Then he backed her up slowly, the back of her legs hitting the bed, the intensity in his eyes stealing her breath away.
Jasmine wanted him with a passion that she had never felt before. All the time she had waited for him was worth every second for this moment. Zain’s eyes filled with a burning heat that made her tremble as he leaned down and kissed her neck, pulling her to his chest, setting her body aflame. She felt herself sway toward him, her body yearning for his touch and the promise of what was to come.
