CHAPTER-10

“IJIN LEE POV”

“Are you crying Kayden?” I asked him and I pushed him before I lifted his chin, I saw that there were tears in his eyes so I immediately wiped them. Damn it! why is he crying? and why is this? it hurts my heart to see him hurt!

“I’m not crying” Kayden said and averted his eyes, I don't know why my body suddenly moved and I hugged him.

“Don’t cry I won't leave you "I said then I caressed his back, I felt Kayden surprised by what I said and he hugged me tightly.

“Thank you my Peacock” Kayden said , I didn't answer and I break the hug when suddenly his cell phone rang.

“Tsk what a disturbance” I heard Kayden murmured, I just shook my head and I just watched him answer the call.

What the hell is happening to me? I’m already attached to him? I can’t help but think. I just looked at Kayden and I don’t know how I feel. I'm afraid to love again. I don’t want to be hurt and especially I don’t want to be stupid. When the call ended, Kayden immediately walked towards me smiling.

“Let’s go Peacock? Where do you want to go?” Kayden asked me then he reached my hand.

“I thought we where going to date?” I asked him, Kayden was surprised by what I said and his eyes widened even more.

“Ok, It’s a date then. Yes we were going to date, I’m dating the most handsome man they should be envy at me” I heard Kayden murmured while getting into his car.

I don’t pay attention to Kayden’s whispers but my heart says otherwise, it’s beating so fast like my heart wants to come out of my body. My heart wants to burst as hell to the point it’s getting faster and faster as if you’re palpitating. I hold my chest and take a deep breath before I look at Kayden who is driving one hand and his other hand are holding my hand.

I looked out the window and just let myself feel that way. A few minutes later Kayden parked his car and we got out together. I looked around and noticed we were in the most expensive and biggest mall in our country. Many countries already feature this mall so almost all foreigners come to visit the mall. I looked at Kayden as he stopped in front of me.

“Are you ready? Let’s go Peacock?” Kayden asked me, I look at him a second and then nodded, Kayden reach my hand and I was about to take my hand but Kayden's grip tightened.

“Just let me hold your hands Peacock ok? “ Kayden said and smiled at me, I don't know but I just felt my head nodded to what he said, Like his hypnotising me.

Kayden and I walked to the entrance and as we walked many people were looking at us especially the women, they were looking at us with full admiration. I wondered why instead of lining up for suspicion we just went straight and the guards let us, I was about to ask Kayden but I got interrupted because almost all the stores we pass are bowing at him. What the hell is happening?

“Kayden wait, why are they bowing to you?” I asked him, Kayden looked at me then he shrugged his shoulders.

“Just don’t mind them ok? Just focus on me not them understand? It’s our date today , so you don't have to do anything but to focus on me “ Kayden said I nodded at him .

Kayden and I decided to eat first before we toured the mall. Kayden and I walked to an expensive restaurant but I stopped him so he looked at me.

“What? “ Kayden asked.

“I don’t want to eat there” I said so Kayden brows narrowed.

“Then where? “ I pointed to a fast food chain and I immediately saw in Kayden's face that he didn't like my suggestions.

“You want me to eat there?” Kayden asked me, I smiled at him and nodded . Kayden's face crumpled like she tasted a lemon so I couldn't help but laugh secretly. What the hell? he's cute.

“Of course, but if you don’t want to eat there let’s separate. I’m going to in the fast food chain and you are going to eat in the expensive restaurant deal? "I asked him, Kayden looked at me badly and shook his head.

“You know how badly I want to join you eating Peacock, Fast food chains are not in my vocabulary but if you say so, then we will eat at the fast food chain you say "Kayden said so I smiled at him big and pulled him to my favourite fast food chain.

I told Kayden to find a table but he didn't follow me, instead he joined me in line to order. When we finished ordering, Kayden paid then we looked for a table, I put our order on the table and we sat down. I look at Kayden and I see him staring at the food I ordered on the table.

“Just say you don’t want the food “ I said Kayden looked at me and shook his head.

“Not like that, this is my first time eating this kind of food. "Kayden said my eyes almost widened at what he said.

“What? since you were a kid you haven't really eaten at a fast food chain? “I asked him, he nodded at me then sighed.

“Why?” I asked once again.

“Well my mom and dad they don't allow me to eat this kind of food. They always want me to eat vegetables so that I can be strong and healthy. They said mother’s know best so that is why. “Kayden said but I shook my head to him.

“Then they are wrong, sometimes you need to eat this kind of food so you know that our body also needs meats and not just vegetables. How can you experience the beauty of life if you are always following your parents? “ I asked him but Kayden didn’t answer my question.

“Just forget it, As long as I'm with you I'll eat everything you feed me " Kayden said and I was surprised when he suddenly ate.

I just watched him eat and I couldn't help but smile because of his face, He looked like a child while eating. I saw a small piece of food on the side of his lip so I immediately removed it. Kayden was surprised at what I did and he coughed.

“W-water I need water” Kayden said so I quickly gave him water. Kayden took it and he swallowed it all.
