CHAPTER-17
“IJIN LEE POV”

I was just looking at Kayden who was now struggling to fix his necktie so I came to him and took the necktie, he was even surprised that I did it and he let me before he smiled. It's been a month since I was here at Kayden's house, This is also the first time I will see Kayden work.

“What do you think Peacock? you are drowning too much. Guess what? I'm the one you're thinking about?" Kayden asked with a smirk on his face, I immediately shook my head before speaking.

“I’m not thinking of you ok? And please do your necktie properly next time ok?” I said but Kayden shook his head before he put his hand around my waist and pulled me.

“Why do I need to do it? if you are there to fix my necktie?" Kayden said and then he kissed me on the lips, I was surprised by what he did. But I also kissed him back.

We both kissed and I was surprised when Kayden took off his coat so I immediately pushed him, he was surprised by what I did and looked at me before he pouted.

“What? Don't you want to do that to me? Don't you want to make love with me?" Kayden asked me so I immediately shook my head! Shit doesn't he have any plans to go to work?

“No! I mean you are supposed to go to work Kayden ok? you have to work because your secretary is calling you several time." I said, his secretary always calls him because there are many pending works and he doesn't show up to his meetings either. But Kayden just looked at me then he slowly nodded at me.

“Ok if you say so” Kayden said and then kissed my forehead before he fixed his coat and he sprayed his perfume, I almost winced because I don't like the smell, it's too strong. Kayden noticed my reactions so he immediately asked.

“Do you not like the smell of my perfume? "Kayden asked me, I immediately shook my head at him and smiled.

“N-no I like it” I lied and smiled but Kayden didn't seem to believe what I answered.

“Your reactions say otherwise to what you said, I will go to buy a new perfume later the one that is not very strong and only has a mild smell" Kayden said I didn't answer and just smiled at him. How can he know what I'm thinking about his perfume ?

“What time will you leave? " I asked him, Kayden smiled then kissed my forehead again before answering.

“Right now, you really want me to leave" Kayden said and then he forced himself to smile before he turned his back on me, but my heart hurt when I saw Kayden's reaction and I realized that I hugged him from behind . He was surprised by what I did and just let me hug him.

“I don't want you to leave, it's just that you might be late for your work, Kayden." I said and I buried my face in his broad back. I felt Kayden caress my hand and face me.

“Hmm.. It's ok that I'm late because I'm the boss Peacock ok? I just need your goodbye and kisses before I leave." Kayden said so I nodded then I kiss him quickly on his lips.

“Good bye baby” I said Kayden flinched a little bit then he smiled at me and he was about to kiss me but I pushed him away. Maybe what else will happen to us here and I'm still tired from the morning until the night we made love.

“Stop it Kayden I’m too tired, Leave and go to work ok?" I said Kayden laughed then he nodded at me before he said goodbye to me and left.

When Kayden left I went around the house and collected all the trash and I carried the trash before going out to the house and I placed it on the side. So that when the garbage collectors come, they will just pick it up. I was about to enter the house when I saw a black cat on the road, the cat looks messed up and it was having trouble walking so I quickly walked towards the cat and I suddenly felt sorry for it when I saw it injured!

When our eyes met the cat seemed to be asking me for help so I picked it up and we immediately went inside the house. I quickly put the cat on the sofa and got a first aid kit and a wet towel to wipe the cat, I wiped the cat's face and all over it’s body. I also treated its wound and I immediately picked it up, I need to see the veteran so that this little thing can be treated. I also found out that it was a boy so I named him Kayjin. I just want to name him like that because I mixed Kayden's name and mine.

When the afternoon came, I got dressed because Kayjin and I are leaving, we we’re going to the vet to treat him and I saw here somewhere in this place. I started walking while carrying Kayjin I immediately saw the guard guarding the entrance of the subdivision, so I smiled at him and he did the same before I left the subdivision. I looked for the vet clinic and when I saw it I immediately went in, I saw a man in a white coat and I think he's a veterinarian. He quickly came to me, he smiled at me and I did the same.

“Hi doc, I just want to have the cat checked" I said the doctor nodded at me then he took Kayjin from me but we were both surprised when Kayjin suddenly bit him as if Kayjin was indicating that he didn't want to be taken.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Doc!" I said panicking and immediately took the doctor's hand to check it, I saw Kayjin's bite there so I looked at the doctor but I was surprised that he was looking at me or should I say he was stunned by me.

“Doc are you ok?” I asked him the doctor came back to his senses and nodded.

“Yes I’m ok , don't worry it's not new to me. I have medicine for cat bites, just put your pet down and I will go to examine him" The doctor said then so I immediately nodded and laid down Kayjin who was now looking at me.

“Kayjin what you did was not good that doctor wants to help you, so you should behave ok?" I talked at the cat and I was surprised when he suddenly meowed like he was answering me.
