Chapter 22
Happiness POV
"Get in the car Happiness!" I obeyed her and did as I was told, slipping into the back seat. Matthew got in the driver's seat while Claudia got in the passenger seat.
"Where are we going?" I asked them, hoping that they will finally give me at least a clue to where we were headed.
"Stop asking questions, Happiness! You just have to wait and see!" answered Matthew, cackling evilly. I grew worried,
"What the heck was that laugh? Oh goodness, please don't tell me that you are here to take me to hell…" Claudia turned around to face me and placed a blindfold in my hand.
"Nonsense Happiness, now put that on and no peeking!" Claudia ordered. I rolled my eyes but put on the blindfold anyways, letting the darkness take over my vision.
"Can you see anything?" Claudia asked. I snorted,
"Yes, I can see my dark future that awaits." Matthew and Claudia' peals of laughter filled my ears,
"Jeez Happiness, your sense of humor is on point." A thought popped into my mind,
"Am I being kidnapped?" I wondered out loud. Claudia and Matthew laughed,
"Why would we ever kidnap you silly billy?" questioned Claudia. I shrugged and decided to stay quiet for the rest of the car ride, my brain going over every possible thing that the surprise could be.
I felt the car come to a halt and I heard someone open my passenger door.
"Can I take the blindfold off now?" I asked, tugging on the tied bow behind my head, tired of the darkness and wanting to see the world in all its glory again. Claudia took my hand and helped me out,
"Not yet, but soon I promise. Patience Happiness." I felt Matthew and Claudia each take one of my hand and lead me somewhere.
"If I hurt myself or fall, I will blame both of you," I warned while walking blindly, the only thing guiding me was light tugs of hands.
"Don't worry Happiness, just trust us, we got you," answered Matthew, chuckling at my grumpiness. We continue to walk for a while until I felt Matthew and Claudia come to a stop and drop my hands. "Guys? Are we there?" I questioned, reaching around blindly. Claudia giggled,
"Yep! Let me take off your blindfold now." I felt the knot loosen before lights entered my world once again, it felt heavenly before the rays of the hot summer sun hit me.
"Arrggghh, why is it so bright," I groaned, shielding my eyes from the blinding brightness. I suddenly heard a lot of laughers and I curiously opened my eyes slowly, letting my eyes get gradually used to the brightness. When my eyes finally adjusted to the light, I gasped at the sight in front of We choose to sit in the first row since that was after all the best spot for any roller coaster lovers. Once we were all strapped in and secured, Blake turned to me and grinned,
"Are you ready little one?" I grinned back,
"As I'll ever be!" The countdown began: 3…2…1…Blast off! The ride lunged into action and soon we were going faster than the wind. Louis and I both screamed in joy at the speed and adrenaline that roller coaster gave us. The ride sadly soon ended, all good things must come to an end after all,
"That was awesome! I wish we could do it over and over!" I told Louis as we walked towards another ride. Louis smiled at me,
"Yeah! That was pretty fun. We could maybe go again later." I cheered before grabbing his hand and dragging him to another ride.
By the end of the day, as the sun was setting, it was time to go home. Louis and I got to go on many rides, it was a good day, I got to see the boyish and fun side of Louis.
"We should go pick up Paws and then meet up with everyone, it's almost five," suggested Louis. I nodded my head, excited to see my puppy again. As soon as we arrived in front of the dog play area, Paws came prancing out of the play area, his tail wagging happily, barking happily.
"You seemed to have had a lot of fun Paws! I missed you though!" I told him, giggling as he contently snuggled up to me. We met up with everyone at exactly five near the entrance and it seemed like everyone else had a good time too.
"Want to grab dinner somewhere?" suggested Jude.
"Good idea! It's been a while since we ate out," Juliet chimed in.
"I want to eat Korean BBQ! Endless choices of meat! I've been craving meat and I am sure all you wolves are too so let's go!" Terry yelled, already salivating at the idea of eating meat. Since we are werewolves it's obvious that we are big meat lovers and Korean BBQ always had all you can eat meat. It was a no-brainer, wherever there was all you can eat meat, is where you will no doubt find a bunch of hungry werewolves.
"Let's go then pack, I'm starving! I hope they stocked up well with their meats." Louis said as he marched towards the car. The rest of us hurriedly followed our Alpha, only one thought on our hungry minds: all you can eat meat.
In the restaurant, I sat snug in the middle of Claudia and Louis
"What do you want to eat Happiness?" Matthew asked me.
"All you can eat deluxe meat platter please!" I answered, giggling with glee like a kid at the idea of meat. Everyone smiled at my childlike action and chorused,
"The same thing for all of us please." The waiter smiled and politely bowed,
"Right away, I'll be back with your order." As we waited for the food, we chatted about our day at the carnival, sharing hilarious stories about what each one of us did.
"You should have seen Juliet's face when we did the loop the loop! It was priceless!" laughed Jude, his eyes crinkled at the corners as he did. Juliet playfully glared at her overly amused mate,
"Hush or no more kisses for you for the rest of your life." Jude unsurprisingly hushed up instantly right after that. When the food arrived, we all gobbled it up like a bunch of starving wolves that ironically, we actually were.
After dinner, everyone was stuffed and tired, we were all ready to go home and sleep the night away. We headed back home and respectively all went into our rooms.
"Today was fun with Louis wasn't it?" I questioned Winter.
"Yes, It was really fun Happiness. I talked with Edward the entire time and he's a very charming wolf," answered Mandel. I grinned
"Oh, does someone have a crush?" I teased her.
"I could ask you the same thing to you Happiness, do you have a crush on Louis?" Mandel countered back teasingly. I blushed and looked down, shyly fiddling with the hem of my pajama shirt.
