Chapter 25
Iris glances at the guy beside the female cop and it turns out to be her landlord.
"Got to be our bastard landlord that arrested me,ye ye" Iris said with a grin.
"You see cops,this girl is a criminal know by everyone in the whole of Italy and I offered her my house out of pity and for the sake of her lame granny but did you know what she did,she didn't pay my rent and even beat me up" Landlord said rolling up his sleeve to show them the wound.
"How dare this motherfucker talk,I can tolerate whatever you say but I can't tolerate you calling my granny a lame" Iris said with anger and walked towards the man to slap him.
"Hey,you can't do that here?" The female cop said holding Iris down.
"You don't need to use violence, let's solve this out amicably, didn't you pay his rent fee truly?" The cops asked.
"My friend already paid him and he is the one that came to my house with thugs" Iris replied.
"Is that true Mr landlord?" The female cop asked.
"Of cou..rse,I m..ea..n no,why will I send thugs to her?" He stuttered.
"Can you see the bastard is even stuttering?" Iris said brushing her hair backwards with her hand.
"Mr Landlord,did you have proof that she beat you up and Miss Iris,did you also have any evidence?" The cop asked.
"Yes!!" They both chorused.
"You first,Mr Landlord!" The cop mutters.
He rolled up his sleeve and showed them his bruised hand.
"This is the place she bite me," He said, looking at Iris secretly.
"Mr man,this doesn't look like a teeth bite, it's a mosquito bite,am I wrong?" The cop asked him.
"How can I lie,she …b..ite me" he stuttered again.
"Why don't you stop stuttering,old fool,if I truly wanted to beat you,you would have lost all your front teeth and I can't stoop so low to bite your unclean skin" Iris replied, rolling her eyes.
"Miss Iris,your evidence" The cop mutters.
"I got many" Iris replied with a dangerous smirk.
The Landlord swallowed hard.
Iris brought out her phone and clicked on a video.
It played and the cops all widened their mouths.
They are surprised at the way a girl can beat three hefty guys, including how the landlord ran away.
"H..o.w com..e you have this video…" The landlord stutters.
"Now I guess,you've really become a stuttering lord,you think I'm so daft that I won't record it" Iris replied and stood up.
"I think I can go now since you've seen the evidence?" Iris asked the cops.
"Of course,you can miss," The female cop replied.
"But don't you think he should pay me?" Iris asked.
"Why will I do that?" He asked.
"If we are truly taking it within the law,you are supposed to pay her" The cop replied and he kept quiet.
"I will be on my way, moreover there is nothing I will do with his filthy money" Iris replied and stood up.
She dust her gown and straighten cop jeffrey shirt.
She wink to the second cop and left.
"Is she really a girl?" The second cop asked, shocked.
"I can hear you,of course I am" Iris replied.
Iris's House
"Why is she not back yet?" Granny Mabel asked restlessly.
"She will soon be here" Kimberly replied when a call came from Iris.
"I'm at the door, open up" Iris mutters and granny Mabel sighs in relief.
Kimberly went to open the door, Iris hugged her immediately.
"Wassup chick, it's been long," Iris said.
"I've been busy," Kimberly replied, pecking Iris' cheek.
She disengaged from the hug and rushed to granny Mabel.
"Granny,I told you I will be back,why worry?" She asked.
"What do they say you do?" Granny Mabel asked.
"It's the baldy landlord," Iris replied.
"huh,how dare he?" Granny Mabel shouted.
"The bastard was showing mosquito bite as evidence," Iris said and they all burst into laughter.
"Granny please can you hold my phone for me,I wanted to use the restroom" Iris said leaving their midst.
The phone wasn't locked and Kimberly clicked on the video right away.
"Wow,she is crazy," Kimberly said cheerfully, looking at the video of Iris beating up the punks.
"Yes, right!" Granny Mabel said and the phone rang.
Granny Mabel and Kimberly look at the caller id and it has lady gaga on it and granny Mabel answers it.
"Hello,Iris, why did you abuse him and run away? What if he decided to arrest you since he is a billionaire?" Lady Gaga said as they listened.
"But don't worry,he has employed you as his personal nutritionist,you should resume on monday, please don't ignore this Iris dear, resume on monday okay!" Lady Gaga said and cut the call.
Kimberly and granny Mabel look at each other and Iris gets back from the restroom.
"Iris,is lady gaga your boss at work?" Granny Mabel asked.
"Yes, why?" She asked.
"Babe,you are told to resume on monday as his personal nutritionist,you hit a jackpot" Kimberly shouted swaying Iris around the whole.
"Wtf" Iris shouted.
"What happened?" Granny Mabel and Kimberly chorused.
"Why the hell will he employ me when I insulted him?" She asked, sitting on the couch.
"Iris you haven't told me about this, come let's gist" Kimberly said dragging her to the room.
"Why will he employ her when she insulted him truly?" Granny Mabel asked no one in particular.
'What?... did he want to avenge my baby?' she thought.
{Iris room}
"Spit everything now," Kimberly ordered.
Iris narrated how everything happens to her insulting him.
To the look he had on his face back then.
"Is he handsome?" Kimberly asked.
"From all I've been telling you,what you can only ask is that he is handsome,you are exceptionally crazy" Iris said, pinching Kimberly cheek.
"Yes, if you can work as his personal nutritionist, maybe you can help me shoot my shot" Kimberly said smiling.
"I can't work as his personal nutritionist ever" Iris replied.
"He is a billionaire also, right?" Kimberly asked again.
"Tchhh,you are really crazy" Iris replied.
Kimberly later left at night and granny Mabel called Iris for a talk.
"Iris,so what did you think about the personal nutritionist stuff?" Granny Mabel asked, sipping her coffee.
"I don't think I can work as his personal nutritionist," Iris replied.
"Why?" Granny Mabel asked.
"Becuz I don't know why he employs me,maybe to deal with me" Iris replied.
"I want you to take that job and don't get sacked" Granny Mabel said, dropping the cup of coffee on the table and she wheeled her wheelchair in.
"What!!?" Iris shouted.
'What does granny mean by that?' she thought the whole night.
'My head is in a mess now, granny Mabel and Kimberly said the same thing but why do I think Kimberly is a lotta strange these days, should I really become his personal nutritionist,will I not regret this' Iris thought looking at her parents picture and finally fell asleep.
