Chapter 34 - Oliver

**OLIVER**

Oliver leaned back in his chair and stared thoughtfully at the ceiling. He couldn’t get the girl from the day before out of his mind. There had to be a way for him to win her over. To do that, he had to somehow get her away from Alexander Fitzpatrick.
“She doesn’t want to go with him anyway,” he muttered, though he wasn’t so sure about that anymore. The newspapers Susanne held in front of him were clear. Still, there was hope that all the kisses and frivolous touches were just for the press.
The contract, which Emily had never seen, was the only thing that made his chances vanish into thin air. Oliver thought feverishly about how to remedy the situation. *Maybe*, he thought, *I could exchange a few pages.* If he changed the contract before Emily even saw it, the trouble would be over. A little adjustment here and there - and the whole matter would be settled. Emily would never know what had really been agreed upon.
He rubbed his temples. The pressure weighed heavily on him, but a solution seemed within reach. A simple exchange of papers, a small change in the terms. Emily had made it clear that she only wanted to meet Alexander once. As a last resort. She had only stepped in because Amelie had fallen ill. It was supposed to be a one-time thing - and he had given her his word. Of course, it was only her word against his. He could claim that she had misunderstood if Susanne insisted on continuing the contract. But his business partner was smart enough to realize that they couldn’t force anyone to accompany Alexander. Surely he could find another escort who was more suitable and willing.
*And who wouldn’t kiss Alexander in such a horny way*, he thought, pulling an annoyed face. It would be best to put an end to this unpleasant nightmare and tear out all the pages of the contract that referred to a long-term arrangement.
“I’ll just write some new pages, insert them and Emily will never know that she originally signed something completely different.” Oliver’s features relaxed. The approach was perfect. She would never see Alexander again and he would have a free hand with the extremely attractive woman.
He pulled out a newspaper and looked at the sexy woman who was sharing a hot kiss with Alexander Fitzpatrick - and even having her picture taken. Did she really kiss as fantastically as the photo in the headlines suggested? His cock swelled at the sight anyway. He reached down and undid the button on his pants, then unzipped them. Even if it was primitive, he now had a desire for this woman - so why not just whack off quickly?
But before Oliver could carry out his plan, the office door flew open and Susanne burst in. Her eyes flashed in a way that only meant trouble for him.
“We have a problem,” she announced without any introduction.
Oliver sighed and sat up straighter. He quickly placed both hands on the tabletop, trying not to show his agitation too obviously. “Let me guess, it’s about Alexander?”
“Exactly,” Susanne replied, slumping into the chair across from him. “He wants to book Emily permanently.”
Oliver blinked in surprise. “What do you mean ‘permanently’? More permanently than before?”
“You heard me right,” she replied grumpily, throwing some loose documents on Oliver’s desk. “Alexander informed me this morning that he wants Emily to be his permanent companion - just as she was originally booked. If we can’t make that happen, he’ll find another agency.”
Oliver felt his stomach clench. All the great plans he had just made with and for Emily were going down the drain. His cock felt it too and went noticeably limp. But he would never admit that to his business partner.
“That was the plan anyway,” he said. “Emily was to be the permanent replacement for Amelie. It’s perfect if she pleased him yesterday and he wants to keep her.”
Susanne looked at him irritated. “Didn’t you tell me she was wearing a sweat suit? That she was sweaty? And Alexander said she was like an uncut diamond and needed training.”
“She needs... what?” Oliver shook his head in confusion. “Training? What kind of training?”
“I don’t know,” Susanne said, “I just know that Alexander wants her - and we have to make sure that she is an adequate companion.”
“All right,” Oliver replied, “then I don’t understand your problem. Why are you coming here?”
“Alexander wants to meet her already on Friday evening. How are we supposed to get her in shape by then? If we don’t do it, if we don’t fulfill the contract with him properly, he’ll be gone. He’ll go to another agency. Please think about Tabea, he only had her for a very short time because she was a total failure for him. She really wanted to get into his pants, which he clearly rejects according to the contract. And Marietta also quit because she wanted to earn extra money. Not all hostesses are satisfied with just a dinner. Some find a sexual extension of the contract enriching.”
Oliver snarled at these words. Now he knew that it wasn’t Alexander’s fault that the women didn’t come to his bed. As a bisexual he would never have turned down a hot woman. It was just the wrong women that had not attracted him sexually. And Emily, an unattractive woman from the gym, had aroused his masculinity. Maybe it was the large breasts that made any man weak - including him.
“Well, Alexander doesn’t seem to be interested in a sexual extension of his contract. Or has he hinted at something?”
“No, why should he?” Susanne shook her head dismissively. “Think practically. Don’t you get it? Billionaire Alexander Fitzpatrick is our best client. Without him we can close the agency. We’ve been completely dependent on his money for the last few years.”
Oliver stared at Susanne in disbelief. He could hear the wheels turning in his head. If Alexander really wanted Emily, that was a problem. She was an accountant, not a professional hostess. It was impossible to teach her everything she needed to know in two days. Even on top of her real job at Fitzpatrick Designs. It was impossible! Besides, she had made it clear that the meeting was to be a one-time thing. She had neither the interest nor the intention of immersing herself in the billionaire’s life - at least not in the role Alexander had envisioned for her.
“He can’t be serious,” Oliver finally said, leaning back heavily in his chair. “He can’t just ask Emily to play his girlfriend forever. She hasn’t even seen the contract. She doesn’t even know what’s in it.” He frowned thoughtfully. “We can adjust the contract, just take out a few pages and replace them with new ones,” Oliver suggested, bringing up his earlier thought. “Emily will still get what she thinks she signed. And we can show Alexander the contract that says Emily was a one-time thing. That would settle everything, and our agency would be off the hook.”
“Then our agency loses its best client. After all, we broke his contract with Amelie. It doesn’t matter that Amelie let us down with way too little notice. Even if we sue her, it won’t do us any good.” Susanne leaned forward and propped herself up on the desk. “We need Emily. And we need her in perfect condition.”
Oliver took a deep breath and felt the noose tighten around his neck. Alexander Fitzpatrick was not the type to make threats lightly. When he said he would look for another agency, he meant it. But Oliver also knew that Emily had no idea what she was getting herself into. She had never seen the contract, never signed it. And she would certainly not be pleased if she found out that Alexander wanted more than just a one-time companion. But he didn’t want to find out personally what she thought of a hostess training course.
“What do you suggest?” Oliver finally asked, looking at Susanne quizzically.
“Emily is coming at half past twelve,” Susanne said. “We have to explain to her what Alexander wants and make it clear to her that she is bound by the contract she signed yesterday to meet him regularly.”
Oliver frowned. “And if she doesn’t agree?”
“Then we’ll lose Alexander,” Susanne replied coolly and got up. She went to the door and turned back as she left. “Think about how we’re going to convince her to go out with her boss in two days.”
Oliver rubbed his face in frustration. What was he going to do? He looked at the newspaper, at the provocatively sensual woman, and his heart beat faster. It was now up to him to defuse the situation - without losing the agency or Emily.
But how, that was the big question.
She became his hostess
