Chapter 74 - Alexander

**ALEXANDER**

Everything could have been going so well. Ever since Alexander had found out that Emily was his accountant - or rather, ever since Emily knew that he knew - he had been able to see her whenever he wanted. He had long since made their lunches a routine, and there was nothing she could do to stop him, no matter how much she resisted. He didn’t care if their colleagues stole glances or if the other employees frowned in irritation when they observed the unlikely couple. Of course they were right! While Alexander made his decisions impulsively, vivaciously and with admirable spontaneity, Emily thought things through analytically and logically. She rarely allowed herself to be distracted from her clear course - at least not by anyone but him.
Alexander always managed to disturb her inner balance, to shift her straight path a little. Often a single smile, a casual touch, was enough to upset her well-ordered world. He loved to ruffle her feathers, to unsettle the peace she had wrapped around herself like a protective cloak. Once he had even summoned her to his office without warning, in the middle of an important meeting. And when she had stood before him, her heart pounding, he had simply offered her a cup of coffee and acted as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
Though Emily tried not to show it, he could sense her anxiety as soon as she approached him. It didn’t matter if they were alone or if there were others around. Her cool composure seemed to melt more and more with each encounter. He liked that. He visibly enjoyed the way she tried to keep her composure while he acted with an almost provocative confidence. He loved to shake her out of her self-created calm, to break through that unshakable facade she so carefully maintained. It wasn’t the grand gestures, but the small, unexpected moments that threw her off balance: a quick smile, an intense look, or the seemingly casual brush of his hand against her arm. She knew full well that she could never truly hide from him.
The few times he had invited her into his office had been incredibly delicious. Emily knew how to kiss a man to the edge of self-control. Her full lips were gloriously soft, her tongue restrained yet tantalizing. It was a pleasure to pinch her round buttocks, knead her soft breasts...and her thighs! It was madness when she wrapped her leg around his waist and rubbed her fragrant sex against his pants. He loved having her scent all over him. Hell, he wanted to possess her completely, body and soul! Emily whined to him at every private encounter that he should finally fuck her. And no sooner was she in his office than her fingers were fumbling with his pants. But he wouldn’t be swayed. As much as he wanted to fuck her, he first wanted to know if she could withstand the cruelty of his lust. She wasn’t ready to be initiated into dark desires.
Dominik had sent him two invitations to the slave show. He had also included an invitation for Emily to test her inclinations in a group session on the Saturday before the show.
That was what bothered him. He didn’t know if he wanted her there. Just the thought of other people seeing her beautiful body naked... He hadn’t seen her naked yet. He denied himself this sight for fear that he would lose control. No one should see her naked, no one should be allowed to touch her, to inhale her spicy scent as the pleasure began to flow from her horny pussy. He could smell it through her clothes, so intense was her wonderful scent that he craved more and more.
This week was the very last chance to sign Emily up for the group session. After all, Dominik had to plan ahead for his club, and in two weeks it was time for the illustrious guests to gather at Davenport Castle to test new slaves. But Alexander still hadn’t told her about the invitations. He was afraid that she would look at him with bright eyes and be thrilled at the idea of being allowed to try herself. But she was far from ready! She couldn’t possibly open herself up to the pain he would have to give to fulfill himself. And he didn’t want any other Dom to lay a hand on her. His thoughts turned to Dominik, who had made it more than clear that he was interested in Emily. The man would not hold back from pushing her to her limits.
Groaning, Alexander ran his fingers through his hair and grimaced. “What am I fooling myself for? She’ll never be ready unless I make the first move.” Cursing, he jumped up. “I’m not ready. It’s all because of me, my fear. Damn it! I’m afraid she won’t be able to take it and I’ll have to let her go.”
He paced his office angrily. Then he picked up one of his crayons and threw it across the room. Snorting with rage, he threw the next one after it. But even that didn’t satisfy him. As he crumpled up his last exercise sheet with an angry look and a wildly beating heart and threw it towards the door, his assistant, who had heard his outburst and wanted to see if everything was all right, just looked in. She promptly received the ball of paper on the head.
They looked at each other in amazement. He, because he hadn’t heard her knock. She, because he had never thrown anything before.
“Sorry,” he stammered, hurried to the door, pushed past her, and stormed off to Accounting. He didn’t care how it looked. He didn’t feel like controlling himself anymore. The only person who could help him now, by taking him away from his instinct-driven rage, was sitting at an accounting desk, working through some invoices in a logical and focused manner.
On his way to her, he regained his composure. The closer he got to her office, the clearer his thoughts became. Finally, he stopped in the hallway leading to her office and leaned against the wall. Breathing heavily, he closed his eyes.
“Alexander, you’re making a fool of yourself,” he muttered. “Besides, you’ll ruin her reputation if you barge in on her like this for no reason.”
He rubbed his temples with his fingers and tried to breathe calmly.
“Are you not feeling well? Shall I get you a glass of water?”
Alexander opened his eyes to see a young girl with black shoulder-length hair. Her dark brown eyes looked at him with concern.
“Just a little dizzy spell,” he murmured, wondering who she was.
“Wait, I’ll get Ms. Saron. I am sure she knows how to help you. She just knows everything.” The girl smiled encouragingly at him and disappeared behind the next door.
Damn, he thought, if she knew how right her words were. Emily really does know everything.
She became his hostess
