Fifty Two

Zander is now in the car. Mitch's apartment was not far away. He wanted to wait for her and kept calling, but he couldn't get through to her. He noticed a parked motorcycle in front of the apartment half an hour later. When he picked her up, he saw Mitch come down first, followed by a man he saw talking to her in the coffee shop.

The brow Zander furrowed. He didn't want to think negatively, but he didn't see the man in Mitch's province if he was just a family member.
Zander exited the vehicle and approached Mitch. He called just as she was about to enter inside.

He exclaims, "Mitch!"

Mitch shifted her gaze to him as if she hadn't expected to see him. Her eyes were swollen as if she had been crying.

"We need to talk."

Mitch replied, "Not now. I need to rest. I'm so tired right now."

He asked, loudly, "Where are you tired? And who is this man?"

"Zander, don't cause a ruckus," Mitch advised.

"If you explain it to me properly, I won't make a scene here. Where did you go? Why didn't you say goodbye to me?" Zander asked.

"There's no need for me to explain anything to you."

"Mitch!"

As a result, Zander had no choice but to drag Mitch into his vehicle. The man was going to try to get Mitch, but he told him,
"Don't get in the way."
Mitch was thrown into the car by Zander. He didn't give a damn if she was hurt. He's only feeling more enraged now. He does not want to deceive anyone by not telling the truth. He adores her too much to be duped in this way.

"Now talk! What happened?" he demanded, his gaze fixed on her.

"Let's break up, Zander," Mitch said. "I realized I don't love you anymore."
Zander was deafeningly quiet for a brief moment. He needs to understand what Mitch said to him. He later laughs, but his heart is broken. He goes to great lengths to keep their relationship going, but why?
"What? You're kidding, aren't you? I didn't force you to marry me because I know you have a lot of things you want to do in life and for your family, but if you just broke up with me because you don't love me anymore, I won't let you; I feel like you love me so much, but why does it turn out this way?"

He's in excruciating pain. He can't accept she's broken up with him completely, so despite her excessive habit, he's trying to understand her... He adores the fact that, despite his tendency to cause pain, he is willing to choose a woman or a long-term relationship. But how come this is the case? He had not broken any laws. He is completely smitten with her. Even if his tears begin to flow, Zander will not cry.

"Please, love, don't do this to me; if there's anything in our relationship or with me that you don't understand, let me know; just don't divorce me; I can't afford to lose you," Zander said.
Mitch didn't cry, despite a few tears dripping down her cheek that he couldn't see. As a result, it means only one thing. She doesn't love him and doesn't even pretend to. What we had together was a sham.
"I've made up my mind, Zander, I don't want our relationship anymore," Mitch said.

He asked, referring to the man with her,

"Is it because of him?"

"He has nothing to do with it. Thank you for everything. I have to go." said Mitch

Mitch then left the car. Inside the car, Zander was stunned. Because of anger, he hit the steering wheel, and tears began to flow. He didn't mind if people called him gay because he couldn't stop himself from crying. He has never loved too much before, but it will be a painful experience for him.

He started the car and drove it gently. Even though his heart condition is deteriorating, he has no intention of committing suicide. He still has family and friends who will love him without causing him any harm. He was going to the city and wanted to get drunk, so he entered the bar. He arrived in the city at seven o'clock in the evening.

Elodie was concerned, so she attempted to contact Mitch, but she was unable to do so. Maybe Mitch has blocked her phone number. Zander sat in the far corner. He has only recently entered the city's bar. The place is extremely crowded. And there were many customers in the bar, and there was a lot of smoke coming from people who smoked. He ordered wine and began to consume it. He didn't answer the phone when it rang because he knew Duke had called.

He didn't want Duke to speak to him. If Mitch had told the truth, he would have understood, but being abruptly separated from him for no apparent reason is unacceptable, but he still believes in himself. He doesn't usually beg for a woman. Elodie has arrived at the mansion and her room. She was worried about Mitch, but she didn't know what to do. Duke called when his phone rang. So she responded.

"Are you sure, Duke?"

"Do you know where Zander is? Amara called me and said Mitch and Zander had split up," Duke said.
She abruptly ceased speaking. Was it because of what she said that the two of them split up? I was only joking about it. I felt bad about what I'd done. I'm destroying someone else's relationship. Shit! What exactly have I done?

"Hmm, I'm not sure. Because your friend and I aren't close," she instructed Duke.

"That's the problem. I've called him before, but he hasn't answered, and I'm already worried about him. He might have committed suicide," Duke explained.

"Don't make that kind of joke, Duke."

"Of course not. I'm not kidding, Zaneska, he truly loves Mitch, but she just broke up with him. Zander is a nice man. I'm not sure why, but he might not be able to cope with the pain because this is his first heartbreak. His first girlfriend is Mitch," Duke explained.

Elodie became concerned seemingly out of nowhere.

"The size of the entire world, Duke. Call his mother or maybe Uncle Agusto. Maybe he just went to the beach house," she said.

"It's not there, and his mother is already aware of what happened."

She exhaled a sigh.

"OK, just call me again when there's more news about him."

Duke gets off the phone.

The sound of his phone irritated Zander, so he checked it to see who had called. By the way, their mother. Because it was already dark, it had to have returned home from work. He replied.

"Hello, Mom?" he asked.

"You're still asking why? Where are you? Why did you leave without telling me?" his mother asked.

"I just went somewhere, Mom; I'll come home later," Zander explained.

"Just make sure you don't do anything bad to yourself; there are many other women in the world; it's not just her," his mother advised.

There's a reason he's keeping quiet.

"Mom!"

"Zander, you're my son. I've been with you your entire life. You came from me, so I hope if you have a problem with me, you come here and not anywhere else," his mother said.

"Thank you, mom," Zander said before hanging up the phone.

Zander's head appeared to be spinning, indicating that he was already inebriated. She became aware of a hand on her shoulder. When he looked at it, he noticed Elodie's happy face.
"Elodie!"

"Silly man, who is Elodie? My name is Laura, and what's yours?" the woman asked.

He winced because he was heartbroken, but then he saw another woman. I believe he is drunk.

"I don't need a companion right now, Miss," Zander said, motioning for her to leave.

"Uh, what do you think? I can provide you with a nice service tonight."
"I don't require any presence of anyone," Zander said, sick of the woman.

"Whatever," the woman said, leaving it beside him. Perhaps she was disgusted with his response.

Elodie was putting on her clothes. Her chest heaved as a result of what had happened, and she needed to unwind tonight. She didn't say goodbye because the girls were already sleeping in the room. She entered the car after walking through the gate. She wore a black jacket, black boots, and skinny ripped black jeans. She appears to be competing in a race or working as a hired killer because she is dressed entirely in black. The thought made her burst out laughing.

She'd already driven into town and planned to visit a bar tonight. They hadn't been here in a long time when they were being pursued by a car and she slapped a jerk man. She looked for another bar to go to and chose one on the other side to avoid any problems if she ever met that jerk man again. She was terrified when she recalled that day.

She parked her car in the closest available spot. She left and came back in. Only a friendly smile from the bouncer. She reciprocated the smile. She sat down at the bar. She took a sip of her wine after ordering it. She could taste the bitterness of the wine in her throat. She dislikes the taste of the wine no matter what she does. She only goes to this kind of place when she is thinking about something.

She looked around her. The smoke from the entire establishment continued to cause severe earache. She rolled her eyes as she recognized a man. She believes he is drunk, but she keeps drinking. Duke couldn't contact her because he was in the city.
She was simply watching Zander's every move. Based on his posture, she can tell his life is miserable. Who will be pleased if you and your partner are unexpectedly separated? She addressed herself to him privately.

"Hi, you're here, and I think you're a little tipsy; any problems?" she asked, pretending she didn't know what his problem was.

After noticing Zander blink for a brief moment, he returned his gaze to her.

"I know you're not Elodie. I'm drunk. It's just who I see," Zander explained.

Elodie frowned before bursting out laughing.

"How frequently have you seen me?" he asked.

Zander even counted his fingers, which made Zaneska smile. It's amusing how people get drunk because they've lost their minds.
"Ten, now get out of my sight; you're like a spirit to me," Zander said once more.

"Damn you! I'm still alive, but you're killing me in your head; this is my flesh and blood," Elodie responded.

"Really?" I don't want to believe it."

"If you don't want to believe, you take care of your life," Elodie said, getting back at the counter at the same time.

Elodie is no longer aware of the passage of time. It's late in the evening. As a result, she intends to return home. She stood alone, not looking at Zander. Someone called her as she was about to get into the car. She didn't turn around.
"Excuse me, Miss," a male voice said.
She fixed her gaze on him.
