Book 2, Chapter 23: Abizi Drama, Part II

**Madison**

Damien sat at the head of the table with Aunt Margo on his left and me on his right. I was happy to be seated beside Uncle Tyler. Dinner was incredible. I wondered if Marissa was in the kitchen. There were some local delicacies presented, which were all surprisingly very flavorful. The kitchen prepared five massive courses, each more decadent than the last. As we ate, there was a polite conversation around the room, with Isla and Aunt Margo talking to me and Damien the most. I looked at Uncle Tyler when dessert appeared, itching to talk to him. He must have noticed my anticipation because his eyes twinkled when he looked at me. I smirked slightly, and he answered with a wink. It was the start of our code, and a genuine smile graced my face.

Being stuck in the compound most of my life had some perks. I got a lot of attention. Uncle Tyler taught me old country Greek. We created a code in everyday conversation so that if someone else knew the language, they would think we were talking business, but we could still pass messages to each other. It's a good thing we used to practice all the time in front of my family!

“How is the hotel handling the Athens tourist season this year?” I ask, starting out. It was, of course, in the language of his ancestors.

“Your Greek is excellent, Madison. Athens is trouble in paradise,” Uncle Tyler replied.

We began our conversation, keeping it to the real estate markets of Europe and the businesses. I noticed Damien look at me curiously a few times, and Aunt Margo looked stunned. Isla was ogling her husband; she probably thought his Greek talk was sexy. I have to admit, it’s always nice when your man speaks in another language. I may or may not thoroughly enjoy it, and I find it exceedingly hot to hear Damien speak Albanian, but don’t tell him that!

The conversation didn’t last too long, but it was enough to convey the messages I wanted. Uncle Tyler ended our little secret tryst with a kiss on my cheek and whispered in my ear, “You are going to be just fine, kiddo.”

“I didn’t know you spoke Greek, too,” Damien said with pride, but he said it in the same ancient Greek, which made me gulp a bit. I could feel Uncle Tyler tense a bit, too. This is precisely why we speak in code!

“There are many things you don’t know about me… Mr. ABIZI!” I exclaimed, sticking my tongue out teasingly. His eyes were hooded with lust. He leaned over the table and beckoned for me to come closer. I obliged, and he whispered, “Keep sticking your tongue out at me, and I’ll make sure it gets plenty of attention tonight.” I shivered at his words as he pulled back and smirked. He knew what he was doing to me. Damn him and his hotness.

The rest of the night was long, but it was nice to meet Damien’s family. I may or may not have played a little footsie with a particular rock-hard muscle under the table while he was talking business with his Aunt and Uncles. I also may or may not have purposely moaned when I bit into a white chocolate candy just loud enough for him to hear it when we were all seated in the parlor after dinner.

Let’s say that after a night of teasing, Damien finally had enough and, in front of everyone, to my embarrassment, threw me over his shoulder unceremoniously, yelled ‘goodnight’ to everyone, and practically ran up the stairs till we were safe in the privacy of his room. He threw me on the bed, and my beautiful dress is now in shreds on the floor, along with a few other scraps of clothing, and his head blissfully trapped between my legs.

**Third Person**

*Buzz. Buzz*.

“Fuck baby girl, yes!” Charlie grunted as he thrust three more times into Aurora before nearly collapsing on the woman, who was still hog-tied on the bed. Kai finished his escapade in Aurora’s hungry mouth moments later.

*Buzz. Buzz.*

Kai groaned and went to the phone on the other side of the playroom. Aurora licked her lips at seeing her man’s perfectly sculpted ass walking away from her. Charlie was untying the beautiful artistry knots with care.

*Buzz. Buzz.*

“Shit. It was Tyler,” Kai shouted, raising his phone and walking back towards the duo on the bed. Kai and Charlie quickened their pace to undo the intricate bindings and free their beloved wife. Charlie put on one of her silk robes while Kai put on some pants before sitting behind her and bringing her to his chest. He wrapped his strong arms around her waist as Aurora played with the phone, ringing Tyler back.

*Ring. Ring.*

“Hey, sis!” Tyler’s voice came over the speaker.

“Tyler! Is everything okay?” Aurora asked cautiously. It was close to midnight near them, so it was early morning in Europe already. This is really important. Charlie quietly handed her some Gatorade and began to massage her legs gently. Kai continued to hold her waist but gently started to rub her arms and shoulders, administering after-care the best they could.

“Listen, I am going to keep this short. Madison is with the Abizi family,” he said.

Aurora and the guys exchanged looks of surprise before Kai spoke up, “The Abizis? As in the European Abizi mafia family? The same family you have been working on trying to partner us with?”

“Hey Kai… Yeah, the same one!” Tyler responded. “She was with the great nephew, Damien. He is the heir apparent of the mafia; Margo has been keeping him secret, even from the family. This was the first time Damien made a true family appearance. I was not expecting Madison to walk in on his arm. But… something else happened…”

What was it?” Aurora asked nervously.

“He claimed her as his future wife,” Tyler sighed.

“WIFE?” All three of the Andersons yelled out.

“Yeah…” Tyler whispered, not wanting to have this conversation with them.

“I am so confused,” Aurora said thoughtfully. “This doesn’t make sense. The black spade took her and claimed her. Could this Damien guy be the same person?”

“No, there is no reason for Damien to be the Black Spade. He’s too young and inexperienced, and besides, the Black Spade is above ambitious. Damien may be wicked smart, but I doubt he is that vindictive. You don’t even know the boy. And the Abizis wouldn’t dream of coming after your family. Anyway, I don’t know how, but Damien now has her.” Tyler refuted.

“Do you think that she was sold to this Damien guy?” Aurora asked, not liking that her baby girl was being shipped around the world like cattle.

“I don’t know. She wouldn’t say much on the subject. Damien is very protective of her. We had to talk in the old language, but even then, Damien knew it, so our code was a little more precise. You should have seen her last night, Aurora! She channeled Grammy like you do, sticking up for Isla. I was so proud of her! And now that I know where she is, I can keep an eye on her for you,” Tyler gushed.

“Oh, Tyler! Why didn’t you say you knew where she was staying? Where are they? We will come get her right away!” Aurora tried to jump from Kai’s arms.

“I’m sorry, sis, but I can’t tell you that. I’m sorry,” Tyler responded. Aurora saw red instantly.

“What do you mean? You’re family! You work with us! She’s your niece and goddaughter, for crying out loud!” Aurora began to shout.

“I mean that I can’t tell you where she is exactly…. I don’t actually know the exact location myself. Isla and I have been married for almost four years, yet I am still blindfolded and drugged on transport most times. But also… because she asked me not to. She’s safe, Aurora. She’s happy. Damien seems to be taking care of her. In the last five years alone, he established his businesses and increased profit tenfold for the Abizi family. He will take good care of her until she is ready,” Tyler explained.

“I want my daughter home, Tyler! She was taken from me,” Aurora said, breaking down in tears. Kai held her to his chest as he just listened to her sobs while she shakily held the phone.

“I know, sis, I know. But you know as well as I do that Madison is a smart girl. She doesn’t take shit from anyone. I heard that she had already given Damien quite a shitstorm already. She can be a firestorm when she wants to be. You raised her to be that way. Trust her. Damien won’t hurt her. I know he won’t. Just give her some time. I am sure she is working on trying to contact you. She’s safe, she’s alive. She asked me to call you and tell you as much,” Tyler said, calming Aurora down.

“Okay,” Aurora sniffled out. Charlie squeezed her leg in comfort while Kai kissed her head lovingly.

“I have to go, sis, but I must warn you. Please don’t do anything rash. Just wait for Madison. Please! You could put her in grave danger. Just trust her. You trained her for this,” Tyler begged. After a few more minutes of pleasantries and promises, they hung up. Aurora curled up into Kai’s chest, and they snuggled together, silently praying to all the deities in the universe that their daughter was safe and unharmed. Little did they know that their little girl was in grave danger, and things were about to get out of hand.
