Chapter Seventy-five

With the same magic I used to break my landing, I erupt a mile high clear gold wall, separating the twins, and the maniacs.

At the wall, Keiran stops growling enough at the twins to look at me, but Xaden is still pacing the wall and stomping his weapon against the shield like he’s his own version of some wild animal just waiting to be unleashed.

“You didn’t have permission from your King to fuck her!” He shouts.

“Ahem,” I tap my foot at the base of the tree stump, feeling ever bit the disappointed mother. The beast Rhodes conjured doesn’t dissipate, but it does back down, ever so slightly.

“Ahem,” I repeat myself, this time a little bit louder.

The Demon Slayer finally looks at me.

“Word of advice, sweetheart,” Keiran says, still the mischievous flirter, “don’t ever let the twins tie you up.”

I summon a deep breath and smile sweetly at him. “I asked them to fuck me, Keiran. And I was enjoying it.”

Xaden, eyes still on the beast of shadow Rhodes conjured, speaks. “The Offering is not to be touched, not without permission of the King.”

“I am no Offering,” I tell him with a laugh that edges on madness. “I do what I want.”

The twins straighten. Keiran scowls.

Xaden still speaks to the beast. “You assholes never shouldn’t have gone so hard on her,” he growls.

Keiran speaks with an undeniable authority and charisma. “You nearly killed her last night Xade, so you can shut the fuck up.” He points at the twins. “And you two bastards should have given the VIRGIN more time to ease into your fucked up brother shit.”

“Oh,” Kallias says in a mocking tone, “excuse me Midnight King. I didn’t realize you were suddenly the high and mighty moral compass, enslaving her and all. Do you only like her in ropes and chains when you command it?”

“Look at the bruising on her arm!” Keiran shouts. When he pounds on the wall, it feels like a physical blow to my arm. “I have never ordered anything like that.”
“Haven’t you?” Rhodes says with a lethal calm. “You like our Remi here all sweet and submissive, but only when it serves you–”

“Stop.” I say.

They all go quiet.

“Xaden,” I say, a command in my voice that I’ve never quite known, “look at me.”

With great reluctance, the Demon Slayer breaks his gaze from the best. If I had known getting fucked by the twins would make him possessive of me, I would have done it a lot sooner.

“Let’s get something straight.” My magic crackles beneath me. It’s as strong and settled as the towering mountains. “I care about all of you assholes. All of you. I didn’t have to Keiran’s finger into my mouth when I first met him, I didn’t have to come back here after the witches and I certainly didn’t have to get fucked by Rhodes in the garden.”

I take a deep breath. “I made my choice, and it’s to be here. With all of you. Even you, Xaden, because as much as the twins won’t admit it, I know you come with Keiran and Keiran comes with the twin as a package deal.”

Xaden’s shoulders tense, but he lets me continue speaking.

“I love you all,” now every male’s shoulders tense. Xaden shakes his head with a cruel laugh. And the twins share an uneasy look. Keiran’s face has drained of all color and looks like he’s about to throw up.

“We don’t do love, sweetheart–”

I cut Rhodes off with a fire that could rival the gates of hell. “I don’t care. I love you all.”

They’re all speechless. Completely speechless. And Kallias and Xaden have suddenly found some common interest in staring at the dark gray clouds.
Keiran speaks with what I think is the most serious tone I think I’ve ever heard him. “We fuck, we don’t love.”

A mask. They’re all wearing terrified masks.

Who would have thought the most formidable warriors of the realm were so afraid of the L-word.

“Everything is your choice Remi, it has been since the Witches. But we need to know which one of us you want to fuck you.”

My emotions falter for the first time since my speech, and suddenly I’m the scared little girl again.

“I-I don’t know how to choose,” I admit softly. I look at all of them. “I just don’t.”

“We’ll fight for it,” Xaden says simply, raising that white magic again.

“I second that,” Rhode says, unleashing that horrifying black beast.

“No,” I say quickly, right as the beast and white flame are about to clash. “I have another idea for a competition.”

Kallias, warrior he is, straightens his back. "What do you have for us Remi? I'll beat my brothers in anything."

Keiran is looking at me like he’s proud. Curious, in-awe, and proud. “What is it, little Offering whore?” he teases with a flare of ice blue flame. My clit throbs at the nickname. “I do love a challenge.”

I take a deep breath. I do have an idea, and it’s going to be probably the biggest challenge for all of them in their lives.

“I love you all,” I say again, and I turn my back on the four men right in time for Keiran to physically gag. “Whoever says it back to me first, and actually means it, is the one I choose to fuck me."

From across the room, Xaden lets out a low, unimpressed puff of smoke. He leans back in his chair, as if what I just said is the most amusing thing he's heard all day.

"Whatever," he huffs, then turns his attention fully towards Keiran. "Would any of you fuckers like to explain to me why I can feel my brother entering Twilight House?"

My blood runs cold. Xaden's brother?

"W-who is your brother?" I peep out.

Kallias and Rhodes exchange an uneasy look.

Xaden ignores my question, speaking directly towards Keiran. "I told you, I didn't want to call him here, no matter what."

Keiran shrugs his shoulders. "I did what a King must do."

The whole world stills. Then Xaden huffs again and lunges for Keiran.
