Ava reached the office earlier than usual.

Zayed had insisted on dropping the kids at their school. Though the kids protested loudly, she had managed to convince them to let Zayed take them to the school.

As long as he has the prenuptial agreement with him, he holds the reins of all their lives.

As she entered the office, she could feel everyone's eyes on her.

Due to the chaos at home, Ava had totally forgotten how she had left the office the previous weekend.

She had been caught making out with the boss.

God!! How did she even forget such an important thing?

How is she going to face all the people here?

Obviously they would be judging her by now.

She saw Lexy looking at her sympathetically.

Ava wished Lexy a good morning and went straight to her floor.

The whole morning she could feel eyes on her and hushed whispers around her.

She tried to block out the world around, but she couldn't.

By the time lunch came by, Lexy had to literally drag Ava to the office cafeteria.

As she entered the cafe she could hear snickering and laughings aimed at her.

All were looking at her and making fun of her.

"See who is here. I thought she would be waiting for the boss to have lunch," someone said.

"Oh come on, they won't be having food behind the closed doors. You know what I mean!" Someone else said.

"When I asked her out on a date, she was the perfect traditional girl who wouldn't go out on dates with random men. And look what happened when someone richer asked her out."

"Money can do anything man!"

Ava was numb.

Not because the words of these strangers are hurting her.

But, because it reminded her yet again of another day. When she was accused of being a gold digger and yet more. Accused by her own husband.

And everytime she remembers that, it hurts....

It hurts like hell.


Zayed reached the office by lunch time.

He had dropped off his kids at their school in the morning.

On the way he had listened to various complaints about his car ...

His new BMW car!

"The seat is so hard!!" Zian had said.

"The AC is not cool. It's too hot here." Zahir added.

"I don't like the colour of the car," Zada said..

He chuckled remembering his stubborn kids.

He is extremely grateful for them for not denying that he is their father in front of the teachers.

He was worried one of them would scream 'he is not my daddy' once they reached the school....

Lucky him!!- They didn't.

After dropping them at the school, Zayed went to the kids shop where he bought as many things as possible for his kids.

All the things would be delivered home by evening.

Aveline would eat his head off, he knows.

But he is going to spoil them.

And he is going to spoil Aveline too.

He looked at the velvet box with the eternity ring with AZ engraved on the inner side of the ring.

He would make her wear this ring.

But not today!

Basim had called him a little while ago saying that he has already landed in UK

Couldn't he just leave us in peace!!, Zayed thought with a huff.

Now he is gonna come straight to the office to give Aveline a surprise.

So he decided to give Basim a surprise in return.

\He had asked his bodyguards to collect the triplets from the school and bring them directly to the office.

He could go and collect them, but then he would be late to reach the office and Basim would be already there.

As soon as he reached the office, he went straight to the office cafe because he knew Aveline would be there as this is the lunch hour.

He stopped dead on his tracks when he heard the conversation happening inside the cafeteria

"See who is here. I thought she would be waiting for the boss to have lunch," someone said.

"Oh come on, they won't be having food behind the closed doors. You know what I mean!" Someone else said.

"Enough!" Silence fell upon the cafe at his uproar.

Everyone looked stunned to see him there.

He walked straight towards Aveline and pulled her into his arms.

He saw the tortured look on her face and felt like someone stabbed him with the knife on his heart.

"You, you and you. Fired!!" Zayed roared and they all gasped in horror.

"Mr Ahmed. We are just trying to save you from her. She is a single mother of three kids. I am sure she might not have told you about it." Cassandra said smirking at Aveline.

"Ms Cassandra. Mind your words. Insulting my wife is equal to insulting me." Zayed said in a cold tone and the people around looked at him in stunned silence.

"Wife?" Cassandra asked in absolute confusion

"Yes. My wife! Sheikha Aveline Zayed Ahmed al Zidra." He said, placing his hands around Aveline's shoulder.

Ameya looked stunned at Zayed's passionate declaration.

She knew her boss had feelings for Ava. Any fool could see that he is crazy about her. But to claim her as his wife to protect her! She didn't expect that.

There is no way Zayed is married.

He had been a commitment phobe.

And isn't that why he didn't marry his longtime girlfriend Brianna?

No. This is impossible.

She looked around and realised that everyone might be thinking the same thing.

Why is Zayed claiming a single mother as his wife??

That too a woman with three kids.
