"Ava," a voice came startling everyone out of their own thoughts and theories.
Everyone turned around at the loud voice and saw Basim Ahmed al Zidra, the younger brother of their boss, popularly known as the Playboy Prince, come barreling towards Ava.
"Basim?" Ava smiled widely at Basim and he picked her up and twirled her around in delight.
"Bass. Let her down," Zayed scolded his younger brother.
Was it true? That Ava is his wife? Why else would Basim be so close with the woman, everyone wondered.
"What is going on here?" Basim asked, looking around, with a confused frown on his face.
"It's nothing really, Basim. You tell me, how are you? How are things at home?" Ava asked with a fond smile.
"Yeah, you are asking me now. You left me alone with this brooding man to suffer. I am not talking to you anymore," Basim said with a dramatic pout.
Zayed rolled his eyes seeing his brother's dramatics. The playboy prince turns into a drama queen whenever he is with his two sisters in law, Aveline and Camille. He practically turns into a kid.
"If you are not interested in talking with her, why are you even here?" Zayed asked, irritated at his younger brother's intrusion.
"You are just jealous because Ava loves me more," Basim said, making Zayed roll his eyes.
Zayed looked around to see people were still looking stunned and listening to their conversation.
"The show is over people. You may as well go back to your desks if you people do not want to get fired." Zayed warned coldly.
The warning was followed by the opening of the elevator door and the triplets came running inside followed by the irritated bodyguards.
Zayed looked stunned as he saw one of his bodyguards, who always had a poker face, frowning now.
That is the first time he is seeing some sort of expression on the man's face.
And he could very well guess who must be responsible for that.
He felt relieved knowing that it's not only him that the kids are giving a hard time.
"Momma," they all screamed and hugged Aveline tightly.
"The hulk uncle said we don't have to go to school this afternoon," Zahir said pointing at the bulky bodyguard who was frowning at him.
The other bodyguard had an amused look on his face at that.
"Zahir, you can't talk like that about him. He is older than you." Zayed said in disapproval.
"But I am Zian," he said and Zayed frowned.
"No, I am Zian," the other one said.
"No, I am Zian. You are Zahir," the first one argued.
"Don't lie Zahir. I am Zian," the other one countered.
Zayed looked on, confused between the two.
Ava sighed looking at her naughty boys.
They have started it again
"Zayed?" Ava looked up to see the pale face of Basim.
Of course it must have come as a shock to him.
"Basim?" Ava called out gently.
"Triplets?" Basim's voice came out as a whisper.
"OMG! OMG!! Let me call Salim and Milly," Basim said and started dialling Salim immediately, only for Zayed to snatch the phone away.
"Not now!!" Zayed reprimanded.
"Momma, there is ice cream," Zahir screamed and ran towards the ice cream storage.
Zada followed suit, running behind her brother.
The kids started running around the office cafe.
"Zahir, stop there. Zian, Zada!!" Ava yelled at her kids who were trying to cross the door to reach inside the cafeteria.
Of course there are lots of candies and snacks there. This is heaven for five year olds.
"Everyone! Back to work." Zayed snapped his fingers and people scrambled out of the cafeteria.
Ameya was still looking at the three kids, who are xerox copies of Zayed Ahmed.
She had been in love with a man who is married and is also a father to a set of triplets.

"What?" Salim asked in shock.
"Shocked? Well brother, imagine my surprise seeing three little Xerox copies of Zayed. I am still reeling." Basim said with a soft laugh.
"I can't believe this. Triplets! Oh God, we missed five years of their life because of Zayed's stupidity." Salim said frustratedly.
"Tell me about it. They are such adorable things, brother. You wouldn't be able to take your eyes off." Basim said.
"I can't wait to meet them. Let me reschedule the meetings for this week. Milly would be over the moon knowing this news." Salim said happily.
"Yeah. On top of that, the pressure is off your shoulder brother. The council can back off from marrying you off. We have got not one, but two heirs. Three, if we can get the council to change the rules and make a female an heir." Basim said.
"Yeah. That is one big relief. Zayed did say that destiny had a plan. And I didn't understand what he was talking about." Salim said with a laugh.
"Get here soon," Basim said and hung up the call.
Salim looked up when he heard the door open and saw his wife barging into his study with a teary smile.
"Milly? What happened?" Salim asked as he hurried towards her.
"We are pregnant," she said and showed him the sonogram of their baby.
"What? How?? Why didn't you tell me before going to the hospital?" Salim asked as he took in the image of his baby.
"I tested with the stick. And it turned out positive. I wanted to be sure before telling you. I didn't want to get your hopes high." Camille said.
"Oh this is such wonderful news. I am so happy darling." Salim said and kissed his wife.
"Well, we can at least get the council off our back for the next eight months," Camille joked.
"Eight? What will happen after that?" Salim asked.
"Well, if this is a baby girl, they will definitely start pestering for a male heir," Camille said, not even trying to hide her resentment towards the council members.
"Well, we don't have to worry about that anymore. Zidra has got, not one but two male heirs already," Salim said with a grin.
"What are you talking about?" Camille asked.
Salim showed her the picture of the triplets that Basim sent him.
"OMG. They look exactly like Zayed." Camille said.
"Let's pack our bag and go meet Ava and the triplets," Salim said.
"Can't wait to see Ava. You have no idea how much I missed her," Camille said.
"You and me, both Milly."
