Noah and Natalia - Finally.

Sitting in the back seat inside of a sleek unmarked black car, Natalia watched the beautiful forest pass on by, the skies were a lovely shade of blue you only see in paintings it gave you a sense of peace that one needed. After the ordeal she went through just to seek her independence it was needed, Natalia released a tired sigh twisting her fingers in anxiety, her father hasn't called her since, to give her the rant which she knew was coming.

"We are 5 miles outside of the border."

"Three cars and maybe for a few days. Things may be picking up. Joe called with some info and it doesn't sound good. I don't think it would be wise for Emma to know just yet in her condition."

"No. No one beside Michael and the two of us knows. I know it's wrong but it's what she asked us to do."

Natalia was trying her best not to eavesdrop on the person beside her who have been on the phone ever since they landed. It came with his position and the favor she requested a few days ago. At the mention of her name to him everything fast forward, it was like a blur to her now but key happenings at Brent wood were clear as day.

"Don't worry about what's going to happen. I know, my brother. He won't stay mad for long," the blonde-haired beta said to her giving her one of his winning smiles. She felt her cheeks tinged with color, the rumors were right. Even mated females are still affected by the handsome Royal Beta Mason, his hair was shaggy with a five o'clock shadow on his jaw, two words described him - ruggedly handsome. Years have done him good he still looked like the seventeen-year-old wolf from Moon Dust the only difference was his body it was more muscular and had the perfect ratio of muscles making him look like the most coveted movie star.

"Thanks again, Beta Mason. After what I did, I am ever more grateful to you for helping me." Natalia squeezed Mason's hand in thanks in which he nodded in appreciation. "You're my brother's mate no matter what situation but the crown is also thankful to you, for calling us when you did. Brent wood pack have been under surveillance after reports of human and vampire mates to the wolves of that pack have been vanishing. All ties to their families have been cut and their wolf mates have been quiet for some odd reason. I'm just sorry you had to get hurt in all of this." he said looking down at her now bandaged leg. She shivered at the memory of the incident and willed it all away.

Mason looked at the dark-haired beauty who was now his elder brother's mate, they were all ecstatic that he found her, the whole family wanted the twins to be as happy as they were. The twins did a lot to protect the family and to keep everyone together, they were the reason why most of them were here today. Out of the two, Noah was the one who longed for his other half since they reached this far as royals to the wolf kind. Mason saw this when Arianna rejected him at first, Noah felt his pain and anger but silently supported him, their relationship was still rocky when they first got back together but with Noah's wise words they made it. Now he was able to see his two pups grow into great adults.

"We are here sir," the driver announced. The two were lost in their own thoughts of the one person they came to seek out that they didn't realize they were near in entering Moon Dust. "Back home," Mason mumbled looking out the window eyeing the people who were curiously looking at the dark vehicles. It has been years since he has been back there, even after the whole Malcolm debacle he found no reason to come back to the place who saw his best friend and sister as worthless, they weren't worth his loyalty.

Natalia was also curious to be in the pack where the queen herself grew up more where her mate...... ex-mate also grew up.

As they both stepped out of the car, the murmurs began a few gasps were heard, the sentinels circled around their beta and followed his instructions as to where the Alpha's house was. Curious stares followed them a few whispers were heard as to who Mason truly was and inquiries as to who the dark-haired girl was. Their bold whispers didn't bother Natalia one bit she was focused on seeing one person only and tell him all the words she had in her heart hoping that he would forgive her. They were a few feet away from the house when a tall lean man stepped out with a wide grin on his face. She heard the beta released a sigh of relief and pushed through the barrier going towards the man whose arms were wide open.

Mason gladly stepped into his best friend's brotherly embrace it has been years since they actually been side by side to actually welcome each other and talk to each other like when they were kids. "Welcome home brother," Aiden said to his blonde friend. "This isn't home anymore, you know where my home is now," he said looking back at the small gathering. His eyes caught a few elders who knew what he did, they boldly kept his gaze then turned away. Mason clenched his fists knowing they still saw his decision in staying with Emma, as he betraying them. He would do it a thousand times more if it ever comes the case.

"I know. I know. It still feels empty without you guys just down the street" Aiden said with a sad smile on his face.

"You could have stayed with us or even in Britain under Caleb's reign," Mason said to his friend. Both himself and Emma begged him to stay close to them after the birth of the first prince but Aiden being the stubborn wolf he was said he couldn't turn his back on Moon Dust. They understood but still felt the loss of the position their friend held in their tight circle.

"So who is this? Must be someone pretty important for you to leave Emma's side," Aiden said looking behind Mason. Natalia gave him a shy smile and limped slightly forward to the Alpha. "Inside Aiden" was all Mason said leading the way in.

"Uncle Mason? Dad didn't say you were coming" the voice of his young nephew brought a smile to his face instantly. "You know your dad just loves to surprise everyone. How are you doing kid? Missed you two for spring break" Mason said accepting the hug from Carter who held him tightly as usual. "Mom is the one who's gonna flip. She's outback with Alicia talking about uncle Noah. What's going on actually?" He said all of this in one breath and a neutral face. Mason raised an eyebrow at the kid thinking he's somewhat alike Angelo.

"You may be the next Alpha but some things are better kept between your dad and me." Carter rolled his eyes and turned to the people now coming through the door. "To my office" was all Aiden said leading the way. All three sat in the office in silence, Natalia was fumbling with the edges of her dress, Aiden was looking between the two while Mason looked around the office.

"Where is he?" Natalia asked in a small unsure voice.

"Who are you talking about?" Aiden asked surprised that she spoke and was even more interested as to who she was asking for.

"N-Noah. Where's Noah?" she asked a bit more sure of herself. Aiden raised an eyebrow and looked at Mason.

"She's sort of the reason why big brother is back home. This is Natalia Mendez, Noah's mate." Mason announced proudly.

"Fuck me," Aiden said out loud with a silly grin on his face, "Finally someone has caught the son of a bitch. Even though everyone was rooting for Jonah to be snatched up first damn idiot needs to be taken down a notch". They both stayed quiet as Aiden rambled excitedly after a few moments he caught himself, "Wait. Why aren't we all happy as fuck? Come to think of it. What happened? Why Noah is like a bloody hermit back at the house?"

Natalia bent her head in utter shame to the words she was about to say, taking in a deep breath she said out loud the words she regretted that day.

"I rejected him."

Silence coated the air Aiden looked at Natalia with the most shocked expression, Mason looked away from her as her face reddens in shame.

"Why the fuck you gonna do that for? It's Noah. THE EXECUTIONER. Do you know how many females want him since he came to the pack?" Aiden said in disbelief. Natalia's wolf and herself reacted to his statement they didn't like that other she-wolves wanted their mate. "He's mine" she growled. Aiden again raised an eyebrow at her. "Is he now? As I just heard you rejected my brother so he's not really yours" he said smugly. Mason groaned knowing that his friend was baiting the alpha's daughter in the most crucial way.

"Noah hasn't accepted my rejection there is still a chance that I can have him back. I love Noah with all that I have to give. He was right I always put my father's wishes before my own happiness. He was right like he always was." Her yelling was filled with pain and anger but mostly loss. Aiden sat on the edge of his desk and looked at the dark-haired girl, he wanted to help but was scared that she would hurt his brother again.

"You do know that his sister is Queen Emma right. One of the most powerful royals," He said keeping her gaze, Mason looked at Natalia after Aiden's question. They had to know if she was in it for power or truly for Noah.

"Yes," she answered in confusion. Mason subtly sniffed the air for any sign of fear and listened for any wavering of her voice. Aiden cocked his head slightly to the right and folded his arms getting comfortable for his other questions. "What do you know of the royals? Besides the common knowledge that every wolf in their kingdom knows"

"I guess... that Prince Angelo's mate is half-human. That's all. Everyone knows about their powers. Caiden is the strongest then comes Angelo and Rebecca." she said looking between the two. Mason and Aiden were practically thinking the same thing at the moment and was relieved also. The kingdom thinks Caiden was the strongest among the three siblings but in truth, Angelo was the one that held them together. No one knew it. The quiet prince had untapped power just like Caiden did but it hasn't been provoked yet. The kid can be king if he wishes but he believed in protocols.

"Hypothetically if Noah found a way to erase all memories of you. All the painful and maybe happy memories you two shared do you think your mate bond can help you win him back?" Aiden said.

"W-Why? Why would he do that? He-He knows why I did it, doesn't he?" Natalia was getting hysterical at the moment. Mason stood up to comfort her but Aiden stopped him. "You hurt him. What he longed for all his life didn't give a fuck about him. You had a choice, your happiness and what was it you said?! Your father's wishes?" Aiden was pressuring her more.

"I had to do it. He would have killed Noah," she cried out falling to her knees, "Dad wants them all dead. Marc and his father too. They are all on this purebreds-must-be in power shit. I just wanted Noah and the Prince safe. I knew if I rejected Noah he would distance himself from me and not come back to Brent Wood with any of the Royals. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Natalia was now crying into her hands hysterically; Mason rushed out of the room quickly dialing his other brother's number harshly.

"Pick up. Pick up." Mason muttered pacing the floor, Stephanie came into view in the hallway her face lit up when she saw the beta after she noticed his tensed state worry etched on her face.

"Mason"

"Jonah" They both answered at the same time. They both released a frustrated sigh together.

"Dude her father is a full-blown threat. My conclusions are he is teaming up with others to get rid of the royal family..... starting with the deltas. Noah on the top of the list. Natalia rejected him to protect him and also to make her dad happy. He believes that all wolves should be purebreds. No mixing of kinds nor any wolf with gifts. I'm thinking of extinction." Mason's mind was whirling with possibilities of what this Alpha Mendez is capable of since he threaten his daughter to kill her mate. Not any mate the Royal Delta to be exact.

"Well, I guess we may be on the same page. Remember the hybrid Bryan I've told you about? Well, his right-hand man just jumped ship. He told us everything that he was notified about and apparently Amelia's stepfather and Bryan are brothers which aren't common knowledge not even the little princess knew. Alpha Mendez and the two are old buddies from back in the day and....... Mendez was the one who attacked Nikolai a few years ago." Mason stayed quiet taking in the information piece by piece. Nikolai Starkov became their closest family friend when he saved his king's life back in Europe for an annual Alpha summit. The attack was swift and undetected so no one was suspected. The question was why Alpha Mendez would want Nikolai dead.

"Why can't we all just have a peaceful year? You know the kids meeting their mates in a normal way. No backstories just normal" Jonah chuckled at his brother's whining. It was all they wished for the pups after Emma and Michael's not so smooth meeting.

"Look just keep Noah there in Moon Dust and Natalia also. I am trying to get Nikolai to stay at the penthouse but you know how he is stubborn as fuck. Bryan hasn't noticed his boy's disappearance. When he does I don't know what he would do. The sentinels have been in full gear it may be too much but it's needed. Angelo is becoming annoyed with it all but he's understanding about it all." Jonah said all this with his nephew on his mind. Angelo hid his fear to his men and his mate but never could do it to his mother or his uncles. He didn't want to lose his mate, he wanted to protect her by himself, not with the help of his family, he didn't want to look weak to her.

"He'll be fine. I'll do my best to keep Noah here," Mason said turning towards the office when he heard the door open.

"Sure buddy. Oh, and don't you dare tell Aiden I've found my mate I won't hear the end of it," Jonah warned him before hanging up the phone. Mason shook his head in amusement looking at the two persons who made their way out of the office.

"Who is that?"

Mason yelped in surprise holding his hand to his chest trying to calm his racing heart. He forgot completely about Stephanie being next to him through the entire conversation. "Did you just squeal out loud?" Aiden asked holding back a laugh. Mason growled lowly at his friend and denied it while eyeing Stephanie as she too tried to hold back her laughter.

"Enough. Your mate is just too quiet," he grumbled straightening his jacket putting on his 'Royal Beta' expression as his kids say.

"I know right. Love, meet Natalia a new addition to the brood," Aiden said cheerfully.

"Barely" Mason grumbled before turning to head out the back way of the house. Rolling his eyes at his friend Aiden turned to his attention back to Natalia. "Are you ready to go see him? This can turn out so many ways" he said with a sympathetic tone.

Natalia took a deep breath and looked at the handsome Alpha and his beautiful Luna, though she wants what they have so much, she knew she hurt Noah a lot and won't be surprised if he does in return, reject her. "I have to do it no matter what the outcome is" she replied smiling weakly.

Aiden nodded and gestured for her to follow him, he leads her through the house towards the backyard where a path led to the Stephensons' home. It was an old path used since they were all kids it passed the backyard of the packhouse and the Beta house then the Delta's house. Aiden left a nervous Natalia on the back porch twisting her fingers peeking into the house.

"Now or never Tali" she mumbled to herself raising her hand to knock on the door. She knocked and called out more than three times and began to get anxious. She began doubting herself, her confidence withering with whatever strength she had left, she tried the door and was surprised it was open. Upon entering the kitchen she was hit with the strong scent of Noah, a scent that would never be foreign to her senses. Her knees became weak as she pushed herself to walk around the house touching the little knick-knacks on shelves and tables. Photos lined the walls of the deltas and the then young Queen Emma. Natalia felt like she was intruding and bolted back out the door taking a deep breath. With her hands on her knees, she began to wonder where Noah was that's when she heard his howl.

That howl that was once filled with reassurance and strength now laced with sadness was very familiar to her. "Noah." His name left her lips in a whisper. She took in his scent in the air and followed the path he took into the woods. Her mind was racing, her wolf was pushing for her to hurry they both needed to see him. To touch him. To hear his voice say their name. Most of all they wanted him to love them again.

After a few wrong turns, she found his final path which was to a lake his scent was strong as she slowed her steps to where she finally found him. Standing tall and proud on a rock platform there he was in wolf form looking over the lake and surrounding woodlands, like a king looking over his kingdom. Natalia didn't need to say anything as his head snapped to her direction.

Noah was truly surprised to see Tali here in Moon Dust his wolf was howling in delight when his human side heart was aching in pain still. He took a once over of his still gorgeous mate where once a warm glow shone from her eyes it now showed pain and sadness her steps were a bit slow and unsteady. Her black curly lock was gone now it was bone-straight. This wasn't his Tali. Something was wrong. Something happened to her. His wolf saw this also and growled under his breath.

'Someone hurt our Tali,' he snapped at his human.

'And they will pay,' Noah said truthfully.

"Noah." Her tear-filled voice made him wince visibly he hated that voice it made him feel useless he never knew how to comfort her when she's sad. "Noah...... You probably don't want me here but I had to come. I had to do what I did. I am sorry for putting you through all this pain but I somewhat didn't regret it. You are safe and alive that's all I wanted." Her words were a bit confusing and a bit brash. He cocked his head to the right in question.

"My father planned to kill you if I didn't reject you. You were a hindrance to him for his plans to make the pack the strongest purebreds. You being part of what he despised the most and so close would of affect his plans. You were right, my happiness should always come first."

Noah huffed and turned his head from her, her happiness was always first for him. Tali was always the first priority for him she was part of him no matter what. Her happy smile was the one thing that stopped from erasing her from his memories. He loved her then and he still loved her now. To his grave, he will love Tali.

"I came to apologize to you in person knowing that this situation can go from bad to worse or to whatever. I just want you to know that I've loved you since the first time we kissed in Cali. My heart and wolf knew you were ours but my mind refused to go pass your title of protector. I'm sorry Noah" She erupted in tears falling to her knees babbling apologies and promises.

Noah whined hating the tears falling on her lovely skin but he was frozen in place by her words. She loves him still but would she stay by his side or go running back to her father. Should he believe her words?

His wolf snapped at him pushing him to make the decision they both knew they will make over and over for Tali. Pouncing off the platform he made his way to her, Natalia looked up through her tear framed eyes at the powerful brown-grey wolf of her mate. Her heart was beating loudly in her chest at her uncertainty of what he would do. In a blink of an eye, Noah shifted back into human form saying nothing to her he pulled her up from the ground and crashed his lips against hers. She was shocked by his actions but quickly gave in as she felt her answer.

He accepted her. He wanted her.

His lips were so delectable she missed them so much a moan bubbled in her throat causing Noah to pull her closer tightening his grip on her. Natalia gasped at his strength allowing him to plunge his tongue in her mouth playing with her own. Her grip on his bare muscled arm pushed her more. Toes curling, warmth pooling in her lower regions her heart soaring, her wolf in pure delight it was there she knew that Noah was always her forever.

Pulling back reluctantly to look into her eyes Noah took that moment to memorize the exotic beauty in his arms, using his thumb he gently stroked her cheek while the other was used to swipe across her now pink kiss swollen lips.

"I love you Tali. Don't you ever leave me again" he said softly holding her gaze.

"Never " she promised. Tears of joy streaming down her cheek she pulled her loving mate down for a kiss to seal that promise. Noah lifted her up placing her legs around his waist. "My Tali," he said in her ear as he held her not wanting to let her go. "Yours. Always yours" she cried holding him tighter. Both the wolf and man were finally happy.

Finally completed with the love of their lives in their arms.

Finally, the quiet executioner has found the love he has been longing for.
