The air was tense everyone was on edge waiting to see which one would make their first move. Unknowing to the hybrids, the Royals were making their first move at that precise moment.

Using the only gift that wasn't affected by the moonstone Rebecca used her gift of illusion, giving them false hope that Caiden and Angelo were attacking them with their gifts. The hybrids opened fire at the convoy but not one bullet broke through the barrier Angelo raised. Rebecca changed her illusion to have them thinking they were being choked to death, they dropped their guns and began to claw at their necks. Their strangled cries were heard through the still night, their fingers reached the necklace they wore in desperate need to breathe they broke the chains falling to their knees.

"What the fuck just happened?" Samuel roared in anger after he watched the impossible happened from his vantage point.

Angelo smirked at his sister before leaving the van, a few who got their breathing back saw him and began to shrink back in fear. "No hello?" Angelo said grinning while snapping his fingers. On command, his men in wolf form emerged from the bushes growling at their enemies. The hybrids shifted into their true form. Each of the men fangs elongated while their hands and feet shifted into claws, their bones shifted to accommodate their hidden muscle mass giving them an intimidating stance. Their new form didn't strike any fear into the four-legged royal army all they saw were obstacles to cross to get to their princess.

"This is suicide brother," Bryan said watching nearly half of his coven in the middle of an oncoming blood bath.

"They were trained for this. To fight for their kind." Samuel said as he watched on at the massacre happening on the screen. Two wolves teamed up and attacked a hybrid, coming from either side, the wolf on the left jumped aiming for his jugular taking his head off in one bite while the one on the right bit into his waist ripping his torso to shreds. Licking the blood off their muzzles they went onto their next victim.

"They're savages. I thought we can handle them but we are so fucked." Bryan said covering his mouth as the bile rose in his throat when he witnessed the next wolf king killed one of his men slowly. Caiden currently had the man in the air breaking each limb giving a 5second count between each break before ending it by snapping his neck. He simply let the man's body fell on the road.

"Send the others in" Samuel ordered to the remaining men. "NO!!!" Bryan said trying to stop his older brother. Sammy punched his brother in the face causing him to fall, "I see you've gotten soft. You forgot what we are fighting for. Or is it that you finally came to terms that you lost the brat to the prince why you are giving up"

Bryan said nothing but only looked at the screen at that moment the mentioned prince walked through the chaos with his head held high while a few wolves were walking beside him, a blue-eyed wolf was closer than the rest looking from side to side.... protecting the prince.

"You heard the dark witch. We cannot stop him we are nothing but ants to him if we should challenge him" Bryan said.

"I'm not letting no freak take my glory. Prince Angelo's blood will be mine" Samuel shouted before storming out.





'More are coming' Jonah said calmly.

"Very well" was all he said halting his steps. The wolves all walked passed him giving him a subtle nod going calmly toward the 2nd coming of hybrids. 'We got this' Jace said before clawing one across the face then going to another.

"Jonah! Angelo!" The voice of Danielle calling out to them had Jonah on high alert. He quickly turned around and ran back to her. Shifting as he was close proximity he took her into his arms, "Baby what are you doing here? I asked you to stay in the van. Where's Hakeem?" Jonah's heart was beating fast he was scared shitless that she was outside.

"Amour. Calm down. I can handle a few hybrids but it is you I'm worried about" she said holding his face in her hands, running her fingers through his beard.

" I know you worry sweetheart but I will be fine," he said kissing her lips.

"You don't understand. The man who now has Amelia is the same man who wants my brother and me dead. The reason I was in hiding so long."

Her words sent fear to his heart. "Who is he, Danny?"

"Randolph. He's the last of the dark witch and the oldest. It is said he can see the future and manipulate any supernatural. He lives off the blood of all white witches and anyone with the blood of white witches in them. That means you, my love." She was near tears as she explained it to him.

Jonah kissed his mate again until he felt her sag against him tugging his hair and moaning in ecstasy. "I love you too much to leave you. I will be back. What I want you to do is get out of here take Hakeem and go back to the house," he said caressing her cheek getting lost in her eyes.

"No. I can help. I'm not leaving you Jonah." she cried.

'She loves you too much, uncle. She's stubborn just like the women of our family' Angelo said throwing a glance behind him.

'I know,' he answered defeated.

"Stay hidden" was all he said to her before giving her one last kiss and hug. Danielle watched as her handsome mate shifted back into his wolf, he covered her with his scent while Hakeem came running up. Jonah slightly growled at his little brother before returning to his nephew. Angelo was about to attack an enemy charging towards him but a wolf took his kill before him. He looked at the wolf, he knew that his somewhat hero wasn't one of his. His fight skills were of pack defense skill which he taught to several packs. He then realized a few new wolves joined the fight.

After the quick death of the hybrid, the blonde wolf came before him and bowed in respect to Angelo. "Shift" he commanded. The wolf did so without hesitation turning back to his human form keeping his head low.

"Please forgive me your majesty for everything I am about to explain to you," the man stated.

"Who are you?"

"Beta Dane of Alpha Mendez' pack..." he started to say but was cut off by Angelo who had him by his neck using telekinesis; Dane was struggling to loosen the unseen force around his neck.

"Where is she?" Angelo asked coldly. His eyes were pitch black the air around them was still nothing was heard the fighting ceased even the nightlife around them was quiet. Everyone shrank back in fear from the dangerous aura circling around Angelo.

"The...House..... The... Witch" Dane struggled to say.

"What's your purpose here if you are with Mendez. Speak wisely."

Dane's eyes searched around him everyone's focus wasn't on them they were too scared to even looked on at the scene.

"I...want to save my family" he rushed out. Angelo's brows furrowed in confusion and dropped the Beta. Dane coughed and sputtered on the road glancing at the prince who calmly waited for him to come to. "Ramon is being duped. I can see it but he can't. He's too hung up on revenge. That witch would be the death of us all" Dane explained.

"Who really is this witch?" They heard Caiden asking out loud, intrigued that there was yet another player in the game to out the royal family.

Jonah looked at Danielle and pressed her to explain. "His name is Randolph the last dark witch. Power is his main focus, the blood of white witches is the reason why he's so powerful and lasted this long. My mother killed him but it seems one of his followers helped regain some life force." she explained.

"He said something of nearly had the job done with King Michael but his daughter was too weak. It seems like he has a vendetta out on the royals for years and came to us for minor help" Dane said standing up then taking a step away from Angelo.

Danielle searched in her memories trying to remember what her mother used to kill him before well-tried. She is surprised that he survived it all.

The Blood Dagger.

"Did he have a dagger with him?" she asked out loud.

Dane tried to remember then one of his own answered, "Yes ma'am. With a red hilt pure silver blade, he used it on one of the hybrids earlier."

"You need that dagger, Angelo. Get that dagger from him," she said with force.

"We need to move fast your majesties. The princess don't have much time" Dane pleaded.

"Why are you so bent on helping us?" Rebecca asked stepping up. "To save my only brother. The father of my niece" he said softly.

"You're Tali's uncle," Jonah asked in disbelief.

Dane smiled and nodded, " My little sister was the mate of Ramon. She wasn't like that you know. The whole mistress of purebred movement. She always wanted to please Ramon, that attempt on the king and queen was a move to make Ramon proud but it backfired. I tried to talk her out of it before she did it but her mind was already made up. Her death took a toll on me but it just morphed Ramon's rage more. All I could of done was raise Tali the way my sister wanted. I'm so happy that she stood up to her father and went back to Delta Noah. I hated seeing her so unhappy. With another gone I think he has finally went off the deep end. This isn't Ramon, I know it isn't. That's why I came to you to help me get him away from those hybrids and witch. Please your majesty."

Angelo said nothing but quietly assessed the beta, Lykos gave him the okay to trust him. "Betray me and your death is sure now lead the way to my mate. I have had enough of this" he said quietly.

Dane nodded. "The cameras need to be disabled. The Vargas brothers have keeping tabs on you since the first blood bath. The house is a mile up but wolves and hybrids have been placed to get rid of you" he explained before shifting back to wolf form. Caiden sent a wave of telepathic power with the clap of his hands the distant breaking of metal and glass was heard ahead of them. Angelo gave the command to his men to go ahead of them, unseen. He turned to his brothers and sister giving them a weak smile. They knew what he was about to say but Rebecca was the one to argue about it.

"No Angie. You can't do this alone. Don't you dare put us in this situation." she countered. "I can't risk you getting hurt. It would kill mom and dad." he said.

"And you don't think it's killing them now that you are in this mess and can't come to help you. Mom would be here in a heartbeat if it wasn't for dad holding her back" Caiden joined in. Angelo released a frustrated sigh and turned away from his stubborn siblings. He shifted into his black wolf and joined his men in the seclusion of the bushes. 'We will focus on getting uncle Niko out while you get your mate' Matthew said softly over their link.

He scoffed in response still not happy that they are putting themselves in danger for him. Angelo appreciated their love and concern but he couldn't bear having them hurt or even worse dead. He was glad Caleb left New York with his mate even though it was done reluctantly. He came to the conclusion he had to keep them all safe.

They all followed Dane cautiously to the area where they held Nikolai and Amelia. Along the way the men ahead of the royals took out whatever hybrid who was keeping watch. The place the Vargas brothers considered a hideout was the only house on the street but was poorly kept, well on the outside as Dane pointed out. It looked like it was a prime mansion in its good old days, the gates that opened up to the house was rusted open so anyone can come and go as they pleased. Four guards held post at the gates as others scurried to and fro from the house carrying equipment that's when Angelo and his family spotted Bryan and Samuel arguing in the courtyard. Hackles rose in anger ready to pounce on the two.





"We have to move. That wasn't some normal technical difficulty with the cameras it was him. The witch was right he's too powerful to go up against" Bryan said slinging a bag over his shoulder.

"You are such a wimp. So what you're just gonna quit everything. We have the stupid girl. The one you came to New York for," Samuel countered.

"Does it fucking look like I can have her now? The witch and the Alpha seem to want her more than I do. Since her attack back in the city, I haven't seen her. She could be dead for all I care." Bryan spat at his older brother. Those last few words were the wrong words for him to say as the prince was listening on.

Without thinking, Angelo pounced out of his hiding spot growling fiercely at the men who tormented his mate for years hurting her, breaking her down. "I fucking told you," Bryan said stepping back from the fast-approaching angry black wolf. Samuel wasn't scared he saw an opportunity to get rid of their hindrance once and for all. Already strapped up, he pulled out his gun from his holster that was filled with silver bullets. "Dude let's go" Bryan shouted at his brother.

Lykos' dark eyes found Bryan for a split second keeping him frozen in place, both Angelo and Lykos now had control over any being, the power they kept hidden for years. They heard the loud and fast beating of his heart, the flow of his blood his eyes frozen in fear. Lykos allowed Angelo to go back to human form to address the brothers but Samuel wasn't waiting to hear what the freak in front of him had to say. Without warning, he shot at Angelo, with the flick of his wrist the bullet went back to its shooter. Samuel caught the bullet in his shoulder he fell to the ground screaming in pain but still wanted to get at his guns.

"Enough" Angelo shouted. He stretched forth his hands towards the bleeding hybrid and disarmed him quickly, breaking the guns with his telekinesis and dropped them right before Samuel. "He would kill her just to see you suffer and without you, your entire family would go down," he spat.

"Who said I was going anywhere," Angelo said calmly before slowly tightening the unseen force around the hybrid's neck. Samuel began to whimper clawing at his neck, trying to get rid of the invisible force but he couldn't, he began to panic. The prince released Bryan who quickly went to his brother's side. "Watch." was all Angelo said. "You fucking prick. Let him go. We don't have your stupid mate. She's dead anyway." Bryan spat staring helplessly as his brother's face turned blue.

"Help" he wheezed out.

"If you don't release my brother I will kill you my damn self," Bryan said angrily shifting into his hybrid's form.

"Your death was already written so is your brother's. Hurting my mate. Exploiting her. And you. You made her your slave. She was just a fucking kid" he exploded. The windows to the old mansion were sent into a million pieces, car alarms went off, the rolling of thunder was heard in the distance. Everyone both wolf and hybrid stopped their fighting to see what was happening. Angelo tightens his hold one last time, squeezing the last breath out of Samuel. Bryan stood in shock staring at the lifeless body of his brother, anger surged through his body before he charged at the prince.

Angelo simply stepped aside allowing Bryan to fall face-first into the dusty ground. "Do you think I would let you die that easy?" Angelo taunted him. Bryan stood up and faced the prince.

"It's a fight you want. That's what you would get. No help from your stupid powers."

Angelo shrugged and shifted in his powerful dark wolf, Lykos. 'His death' Lykos said to his human as he stalked his prey.

'Let's get this over with. I need .....' Angelo was unable to finish his statement due to the scent he caught in the gentle breeze.

'MATE!' they both said at once turning to the origin of the scent.

"Lykos. Angelo." Amelia cried out as the Alpha threw her to the ground. Silver shackles were still around her wrists he saw her bit her lip in pain as the silver touched her skin harshly.

They tried reaching out to her but she was blocking them out, this angered them more, what was she doing. A wave of pain coursed through their bond momentarily that was why she was blocking their link, forgetting Bryan he changed his course of attack to Mendez. Satisfaction was seen on Mendez's face when he saw the prince's new path.

Amelia's eyes widen in fear as she saw her mate coming towards them. It was a trap.

"NO!" she screamed out, she stretched out her hand towards him aiming to protect the love of her life. A dirt wall manifested before Angelo just as a silver dagger found its way into the wall preventing it to meet its target. Amelia sighed in relief and sagged to the ground.

"You stupid bitch" Mendez snapped pulling her up by her hair. Amelia cried out in pain trying to get her hair free but she was just hurting herself more. Running around the wall he was about to attack Mendez when an unforeseen force blindsided him sending him crashing into one of the vans. That didn't phase him one bit as he shook off the attack but was blindsided again when Bryan tackled him. The prince was beyond pissed now.

Kicking off Bryan a few meters away, he quickly looked for the person who attacked him first but Bryan was a persistent little fucker, he was coming at Angelo once again. 'End this shit' Caiden said to him, 'I have the dagger'. Quickly he glanced to where his older brother stood away from the crowd holding the dagger but his focus was on the entrance behind his mate and Mendez. 'You heard dear old big brother. Time to stop playing' Angelo sad to his wolf charging towards Bryan who was coming at him strongly. Bryan was leading by anger while Angelo was calm as ever, he allowed the hybrid to come closer to him, and just at the precise moment using his right paw he slashed Bryan on his side. Ripping away the t-shirt leaving a large gruesome mark, Bryan fell to the ground clutching his side bleeding out. His wound was closing but very slow.

It was all like a ripple effect. With Bryan down on the ground in pain, Mendez ordered his men to attack the sentinels but the royals weren't having it. They were about to attack when they were thrown by the same force that hit Angelo. Out walked the much talked about dark witch who wants the Royal family detroyed. Being a bit distracted by the attack on his family, Bryan took that as an opportunity to attack the wolf but his attempt was weak.

'Too easy' Lykos said to his human before biting into the jugular of the hybrid killing him instantly.

From her vantage point, Amelia whimpered after witnessing how brutal Lykos killed her past tormentor. She had a sense of satisfaction at both their deaths now she just wanted to go home. "Give me the girl. Get her father," the cold voice of Randolph said bringing her out of her reverie. Mendez left her with Randolph and went for Nikolai. "Let's go" he grounded out creating a shield around them while taking off her shackles. With the silver gone for those few seconds, she felt her wolf get a little bit more focus on their present situation.

With Bryan dead, Lykos allowed Angelo back into his human form. They watched on quietly as Randolph held their mate close to him behind his shield it wasn't a full shield it was more of a barricade from any frontal attacks. "What is he doing?" Angelo muttered to himself before going after them.

'You need to get the dagger in your possession. Caiden won't be strong enough to fight him.' Jonah said to his nephew as he attacked another wolf. Angelo stood away from all the chaos happening from his siblings and Randolph attacking each other to the hybrids and wolves fighting to their deaths.

'All of this for what? Power that my family and I never abuse?' he said to his wolf.

'This is not your fault young prince. It came from the first wolf shift. Power can turn any man or wolf. It is the Royals' duty to keep the peace which is why you were blessed with me. We have to keep the peace for the future hybrids and wolves' Lykos said all this while looking at Danielle as she was helping defend her new family from Randolph.

With the powers he inherited from his mother Angelo brought on the worse weather to hit New York, lightning flashed fiercely in the dark skies, thunder cracked loudly over their heads and in the distance. It took not much concentration to do so with that in the process he created a full shield around his family and men.

"That's enough" he bellowed. Lightning struck the ground between any wolf and hybrid fighting, his voice was strong and powerful as he spoke those words. Everyone fell to their knees as he approached them all, "Let her go. I am tired of all this foolishness" he shouted at Randolph.

The wizard didn't flinch at his powerful aura, he simply pulled out a silver blade knife and put it to Amelia's neck. Angelo created an energy ball in the palm of his hand, "Wrong move" was all he said before throwing the energy ball at the witch careful not to hit Amelia. In hurry to get away, his mate turned hurriedly away from the attack cutting herself on the knife but got away in great timing as the ball hit Randolph square in the chest.

Holding onto her neck she was starting to bleed heavily, the wound was closing slowly. 'Baby, are you alright?' Angelo asked panicking. Before she can answer him, she heard him scream out in pain, slowly turning to him she saw him clutching his arm looking towards the main door. Alpha Mendez stood holding a battered Nikolai who was barely conscious while a gun was focused on the prince.

In retaliation he formed another energy ball for the alpha, Dane saw this and knew with one hit the Alpha's death would be quick.

"Ramon. Stop it. Think of Tali. She can't lose another parent." Dane said aloud from his spot.

"Who cares for the little bitch. She chose this lot over her family. Her mother would have been so ashamed. Now its time to get full revenge" he said with a crazed look on his face while pressing the gun against Nikolai's head.

They all knew what was going to happen next. Amelia tried to make it to her father calling out for him as Mendez made his move to pull the trigger, Angelo froze his whole body then threw the energy ball at him, pushing him away from Nikolai who dropped to the floor unconscious. Dane dropped to his knees defeated after seeing the death of his best friend.

Angelo had no time to run to his surrogate uncle to see if he was okay he caught a movement in the peripheral vision behind his mate.

"Cay. Now," he shouted at his brother while taking down the shield walking towards his mate. Caiden threw the dagger to his brother who caught it with his good arm. 'Don't move baby' he said to his mate. Randolph saw him coming, "Dupliquer," he said. In the blink of an eye, the wizard made copies of himself circling around Angelo and Amelia.

"The big bad wolf has come to save his princess. You can't get rid of me but I can get rid of you" he said. All the copies spoke at once confusing Angelo as he tried to figure out which one was the real one.

"I should have done the job my self all those years ago but my daughter was too weak. She fell in love with the stupid alpha and couldn't finish the job"

'The hunter who fooled dad.' Becca said in disbelief.

One of the Randolph, body-slammed Angelo causing him to fall to the ground but he held onto the dagger tightly.

"Do you know what she said? 'She wished she was truly his mate and she couldn't take him away from his true mate.' That's why she let him go from the spell. I told her he would be the death of us but she was too in love with the wolf. Her useless emotions had me looking for the perfect ally who wanted the crown destroyed. The rebels I sent when you were younger were useless. The hunter and alpha I sent after your brother, again useless. When I got the vision of you finding your mate, I went in search of the hybrids and Ramon, a perfect combination. But. As you can see, if you want a job done, you will have to do it yourself," he went on with much more anger and force.

"Angie" Amelia croaked out. She was just a few steps away from him but Randolph was blocking him. "I'm coming baby" he grounded out holding his injured arm.

"No, you're not" Randolph laughed viciously, "illusion"

On his command, Randolph created a world that only Angelo can see. He was back home sitting near the lake, his parents were on the bench watching over two young pups while Caiden and his mate were swimming in the lake, Becca and Matthew were on a blanket talking and laughing without a care in the world but he was confused where was his mate. "Amelia?" he called out. No answer. He got up looking around the grounds trying to find his mate. "Amelia where are you?" he called out again.

"Angelo? Who's Amelia?" a soft voice asked behind him. Turning around the person who spoke to him was his first mate Elise. His brows furrowed in confusion. "My mate. My...Princess" he said looking at her fully. She was wearing the crown he showed Amelia back at the penthouse and the blue lace dress he loved to see his Amelia in.

"I'm your mate, Angelo. Remember you brought me here after my 16th birthday," she said reaching out to touch him. He flinched stepping back. "No. No. You died on your birthday. I was there I saw the light left your eyes." he breathed out. His heart clenched in pain at the memories. "Stop playing Angelo. You are scaring me. Now come on let's go back, your son is asking for you" she said taking his hand. He pulled back his hand and looked over to the two pups by his parents. Sure enough there sat a quiet little boy with wild black hair and striking blue eyes just like..... Amelia's. Forgetting about Elise he ran across to the little boy and held the kid's face in his hands.

"Hi, daddy. You back from your trip?" he asked Angelo showing him a toothy grin. All Angelo was focused on was the bright blue eyes so alike to Amelia's. Though Elise had blue eyes also hers didn't shine so bright. "Where's your mommy?" he asked hoping he would get the truth from his own flesh and blood but the pup pointed to Elise.

"Why are you fighting it, young prince. Isn't this what you wanted with your real mate? Amelia is a replacement remember," the cold voice that reached his ears was the only one who put him here. Turning around there stood the smug-looking wizard, "She is no longer my mate. Carry me back to my real mate. NOW!!!" Angelo shouted rushing up to him.

"This is your second chance with Elise. You have a family with her. This is what you wanted" Randolph continued to say.

"My second chance is with Amelia. Take me back to her. She needs me." Angelo said manifesting the dagger in his hand.

"You think you can kill me here. I created here."

Angelo couldn't take it anymore, he wanted out, he wanted his Amelia. He had to save her. With one thrust, Angelo stabbed Randolph in his stomach reveling in the blood that flowed over his hands. "Take me back to her" he grounded out.

"Angelo. Ang..elo. Wake up. Please" the sound of his mate's voice coming from Randolph was confusing.

"Amelia?" he said looking to Randolph but it was no longer the wizard. It was his mate. Everything disappeared around him coming back to the present. Angelo couldn't breathe the sight in front of him was too hard for him to process. The blood on his hands wasn't Randolph's it was Amelia's.

"No. No. No. Baby, I'm sorry. Baby, please stay awake. Fuck. What have I done?" he cried into her neck holding onto her, easing out the dagger. He heard the screams of Becca and Danny in the background but he was only focused on the slow beating of his mate's heart. He killed her. He killed the woman he loved dearly, his second chance.

"Caiden!" he screamed out for his brother to come help him. "It's too late Prince Angelo. The fall of the Royals has begun" Randolph said laughing along.

Holding onto Amelia, lightning surrounded them striking the copies of the wizard, he joined some of his energy ball power onto the silver dagger and waited. Randolph forgot his trick and spoke himself and not through his copies giving away that he was the real one.

"You're right. It's too late" Angelo said. In one quick movement, he turned and threw the dagger at Randolph straight to his heart the lightning around them connected to the silver and electrocuted the wizard. His screams of pain were heard but quickly died as he succumbed to his injuries.

Angelo didn't care what was going on behind him as he tried to keep his mate awake rocking back and forth begging for her to stay awake. He heard his brother beside him pleading for him to lay her down so he can help her. "You better save her Cay. I am not losing another" he yelled at his brother as Matthew and Jonah held him away from the two.

Amelia was losing consciousness as Caiden forced her to drink his blood but she kept her eyes on her torn prince. His eyes were red with tears as they flowed down his face, his hands were covered with blood while his arm where he was shot was still bleeding. He was trying his best to go to her but he was held back. He met her gaze it was then he calmed down. 'Do not leave me, Amelia. I beg of you. I can't lose you. I am sorry baby. I didn't know' he said through their link.

'Why would I leave my silent prince?' she said weakly.

'Your silent prince. Always and forevermore yours. I love you Amelia' he said his voice breaking.

'I love you Angelo' she said to him with a smile before giving into the darkness.
