**Angelo**

'I hope this works' I muttered to my wolf. His plan was something any of us would do for our own kind but to a human, it was unheard of. We can only hope it worked for the best, I didn't shift back to human form till I reached Rosaline's room where one of my men stood waiting with a pair of shorts along with the pack doctor. The doctor was a bit uneasy but was somewhat determined to save the future queen. "Whenever you're ready, sir. She's still in a comatose state which should help the venom to circulate much easier" he said in a calm voice as I shifted and got dressed. Simply nodding I opened the door to my new sister's room, her protector Eva shot up from her seat and went to her knee immediately when she saw me.

"Your majesty," she said timidly. From the first time I saw her I knew she was afraid of me, of who I am and what she heard but I pay it no mind. For a moment I studied her she looked awfully familiar and her scent was too but I had no time to place it. Nodding in acknowledgment I went to Rosaline's side while the doctor took the other and got everything placed on a sterile tray beside the bed.

Holding her hand, I was worried at how clammy it was, her skin color was still pale. "Have she ever been in such a state after an attack?" I asked out loud to her protector.

"No your majesty, this has been the worst one yet. I expected her inhaler would help but I guess not" she answered. Fear was in her voice and it was in my heart, somehow I knew it was for the same reason.

The doctor cleared his throat to gain my attention, I looked to him then my sister 'We must take this chance, Angelo. She needs to be next to Caiden for this she has to be strong,' my wolf reassured me. Something was bothering him and as my men told me their wolves have been restless too since we brought Caiden back home. Something was wrong on their side of reality.

"Go on" I simply said.

"Wait what are you doing?" Eva shouted making her way around to the doctor.

"Stop" I commanded her and on cue her body still at my voice. I freely allowed her speech as I held onto Rosaline's hand tighter ready to control whatever effects my mother's blood had on her.

"Your majesty with all due respect but what in the world are you doing to my charge?" Eva grounded out.

"Your charge is now my sister. And what I'm about to do is heal her using the blood of a white wolf. My mother. This is a long shot but it's the only way to save Caiden and our people"

"How does injecting her with wolf blood help Prince Caiden and us?" she asked in disbelief.

"If I knew myself I would tell you but my wolf wants this done" I responded while watching the doctor find a healthy vein on Rosaline's pale arms to inject the blood. It wouldn't be much only the usual amount to help heal wolves faster than usual.

After the deed was done, I unbound Eva's body and waited to see the reaction the blood had with our future queen.

Seconds turned into minutes as we all watched with bated breaths to see the result. A moan escaped her lips, her loose grip became tighter around my fingers the scream that escaped her was deafening and brought another fear to me. Her body was thrashing from side to side accompanying painful screams, this went on for a few minutes before her whole body stilled.

"Rosaline?" I called out to her checking her pulse it was weak, I know this was the time to freak out.

Frantically, I started to call her name hoping she would miraculously answer me, the doctor was quick to check her heart rate which he muttered was low under his breath.

"Your majesty," he said softly after checking her pulse again. He did another check, sweat beaded down his temple. His hands were shaking so much that I refused to believe what happened.

"What?" I snapped taking my eyes off him then to my sister. She was awfully pale now, her body was limp, the moisture to show her breathing against the mask was no longer there.

"No. No. No. Fuck. What did I do?" I heard myself say as I tried to wake her up. The guilt was already in my heart, inwardly cursing out my wolf for telling me to do such a thing.

"Rosa? Rosa?" Eva called out to her rushing to her side trying to wake her just as I was doing. I took off the breathing mask and began to do mouth to mouth.

"Your stupid ass plan killed her. You killed your brother's mate" Eva screamed hitting my back as I tried my last resort.

Her words did a number on me. "No. No, she isn't dead" I cried between my workings of CPR.

"Get off her" she screamed again pushing my weak form away from Rosaline and held her tightly to her chest crying into her hair.

"What the hell is going on?" I heard my father shouted in his alpha tone. I didn't need to see him knowing how angry and disappointed he was, I felt him and my mother as they entered the room.

A strangled cry escaped her, dad's growls were low as he paced back and forth behind me.

"Angel what have you done" mom whimpered going to Rosaline's side. I couldn't move nor talk only watch blindly at the limp body of my brother's mate. I took away his world I thought, dropping to my knees.

"I-I- my wolf- he- this wasn't supposed to happen. It was supposed to be alright. She should be awake by now." I was able to say.

"Son? What did you do?" Dad said in a calming tone the same voice he used when he wanted us to talk to him. I turned to him with teary eyes. "The blood was to heal her. For Caiden. Dad, I'm sorry. I didn't... it wasn't supposed to kill her" I muttered. Without a word he hugged me fiercely while trying to ease my mind, it wasn't much help because the pain of killing our future was already settled.

'Watch' my wolf said sharply. Reluctantly, I obeyed him and turn back to Rosaline.

No one saw the twitching of her fingers but her cough was surely heard, "Move" I shouted pushing Eva out of the way. Relief flowed through me as I felt for a pulse. "Rosaline" I called out cradling her face in my hands. "Open your eyes, little princess"

"Angie?" she called out hoarsely.

"Yes, it's me baby sis. Open your eyes, for me please" I begged her just as my wolf was doing the same. Her eyes fluttered open and her gaze held mine, her then hazel brown eyes now had a gold ring around her retinas. 'Mother has visited her' my wolf said submitting to her. I then found myself kneeling beside her bed with my head bent that's when I realized every wolf in the room have done the same.

"Our loyalty belongs to you now and forevermore Princess Rosaline" the sentinels and doctor pledged sincerely.

"Welcome to the family Rosaline," mom said in a motherly tone, the tone of love and affection she had for us.

"Thank you." I heard her say then a sniffle, looking up I saw tears rolling down freely on her cheeks with the happiest smile I have seen on her face within the past week.

We rose from our position and looked down at her in a new light. My wolf was still restless though and by the random mind links from other wolves, it was the same for them.

'What is it?' I asked him.

'Mother is worried. Something is about to happen' he growled.

"Angie?! I need to go to him Now. He needs me" Rosaline said with pure desperation in her voice. With no questions asked, I picked her up in my arms and carried her to my brother's room. No one followed but that didn't stop me from closing the door locking it with my mind. The joys of having evolving gifts, its no longer specific as we age.

"Caiden?" I heard her cry out while trying to get free from my arms. I saw how tense he was even in his sleep, his dreams were surely troubling him. We stood beside him, with me keeping a firm grip on Rosaline in case if any signs of fatigue were shown. "The Moon Goddess said he needed me. That he is conflicted and is giving in into his wolf's dark ways. They think they have lost me. He doesn't know. I should have told him. I should have told him everything. This is all my fault. I should of just believe in him when he said he would always be there for me. That he will always love me no matter what." She cried. Rosaline let it all out with her tears, my wolf and I whimpered in sadness as she revealed her love for Caiden and how guilty she felt for pushing him away to the darkness.

"I'm sorry Caiden. I'm so sorry" she sobbed reaching for his hand clutching it tightly. With a sharp intake of breath, she fell into a deep sleep. "What the fuck just happened?" I asked out loud in the empty room.

'Mother gave her the gift to travel between worlds. Princess Rosaline is the first human to be allowed into our spiritual world.' My wolf explained.

Why would Mother need Rosaline? Why not our earthly mother? Is Caiden that far gone?

Let's hope Rosaline can truly help.

'Angelo. It seems like we have an unexpected visitor. You might want to see who it is' dad said to me in an amused voice.

For dad to be amused at a time like this isn't a good sign, this ought to be good.
