**Spirit Realm**



The moon goddess rushed to the trio; Rion was now unconscious while Caiden was near the same state.

"Hello, again your majesty," Cora said to Rosaline who was desperately trying to wake up Rion.

"Uh hi. He's not waking up. Please do something. We need him" she rambled on with tear-filled eyes.

Smiling at the young queen, the moon goddess stepped away and concentrated at the task at hand. Caiden kept his gaze on his spiritual mother as she levitated both himself and Rion above the ground and set them afloat on the now serene lake beside them.

Rosaline watched in awe as she touched Caiden's cheek and he instantly fell asleep.

A white light hovered above them both, "Like their fathers before them so shall these two be bonded for life. Let no man or spirit tear this sacred bond once again. Man and wolf shall live together in harmony as these two have promised to do. Loyalty.

Respect and Love have found favor to each as both shall rule over both kinds in peace" The two lights shone brighter as they ascended to the sky and joined as one, Rion and Caiden's wounds were healing rapidly. Rion was the first to get up he looked at the Moon Goddess and bowed to her then proceeded to walk around Caiden.

'I, Rion descendant of Darius De Leon hereby accept King Caiden Saville as my vessel. My human. My leader. My King from this day forth and onwards' His voice was stronger and full of confidence as he said those words of declaration. He then turned to Rosaline and the adoration she first saw back at the apartment was shone now, she missed them both dearly.

The tears were heavy on her cheek as she nodded yes to him, "I accept you Rion as mine" she said. Rion bowed to her then stepped back and sat beside Caiden. 'See you soon love' he said before the light got brighter and his howls were heard, the air felt light around it was so peaceful. Rosaline felt lighter all her worries and doubts seem to fade away she never felt so happy. She had to shield her eyes as the light got too bright to look at.

"Welcome back my son," Cora said.

"Its good to be back mother" King Caiden said looking at his reflection in the lake. His wolf surfaced then went back reassuring him that he was there for him from now on. The sloshing of water brought him out of the internal conversation he was having with Rion, looking up he was met with the golden-brown gaze of his mate.

"I meant to ask you how did your eyes become this color I saw it once with my mother but you're human?" he asked with a confused expression.



"I don't know exactly but I woke up after my asthma attack feeling healthier and stronger before that I met her. Your mother," Rosaline said looking at her reflection.

Cora chuckled and watched at the two, "Thank your brother and his wolf. They injected her with your mother's blood in order for her to get better to be with you. He wanted you to be happy" she said.

"So do I," Caiden said wistfully.

"He will. Just give him time" she said walking out of the lake. Caiden held Rosaline's hand and kissed her knuckles, "Let's go h...." he started to say before a loud crack of thunder interrupted him. The bloody mess of the dark lord lay on the ground in pain; he struggled to get up, his wounds weren't healing as they should even if he was back home.

"How does it feel to be mortal?" Cora asked.

"Me? Mortal. Never" he said while wincing in pain. "Then why are you affected by my uncles' attacks," Caiden asked smugly.

He growled lowly in anger at the two."Rion has left on his own free will, you no longer have a wolf spirit to cling to, also your powers are dwindling" Cora said.

"Shut up" he yelled at her while throwing an energy ball at her. Caiden quickly reacted and deflected the attack back to him. It hit him right in the stomach, he screamed out in pain clutching his now bleeding wound. "He's now yours. What is your judgement?" Cora said stepping back.

"What?" he asked confused. "He's mortal now though he is lord of all dark deeds. He is still under you. He wanted Rion to be once again in full control, a powerful vessel." she explained.

"Does this mean I have unlimited authority?" Caiden asked looking at the wounded dark lord.

"In a sense yes. But when it comes to deciding anyone's destiny you must come to me, there are rules, son and things that are just meant to be" she said looking at her sibling. Their destinies were so different from the other, where there was light, there must be dark, she remembered when they both ceased to be mortals at the age of eighteen their fate was already made by the spirits above them it saddens her that her brother was now like this. A selfish cold-hearted man. It was their duty to keep the balance but Corvineus' greed and selfishness took over which changed everything. Cora looked at her brother once more and stepped away. Things can never be fully explained in the spirit world but one can somewhat accept what is what.



"I, King Caiden Saville banish you to the farthest corner of the spirit realm. You are henceforth banned from claiming any wolf spirit if you should disobey this rule death shall be imminent. You shall return to the sole duty you were destined for. I am not a cruel man I believe in second chances though for you I'm not quite sure, any slip up then you have myself to deal with well..... the whole royal family" Caiden said looking down at the man who nearly destroyed his life. He was taught to be a fair and forgiving leader by his parents and his judgment was one they would be proud of and also the fact he was too tired to kill anyone though he can just think of it.



Corvineus looked on in shock at the king after hearing his sentence, he was expecting death but banishment this kid was out of his mind. Nodding cautiously, he backed away slowly from them. He looked to his sister, pity and relief were in her eyes, he understood why and bowed his head in shame. With a snap of her fingers, he was teleported to the edge of the realm. They all stood in silence waiting for any retaliation from him but none came after a few minutes.

"You ready to go home?" Caiden asked Rosaline. She looked up at him his beautiful silver eyes that always mesmerized her shone with love and tiredness.

"Yes, my king," she said softly. He smirked and kissed her lips gently, "Home it is my queen" he said against her lips.

"Goodbye mother" Caiden said bowing to her.

Getting Rion back he was able to move between realms easily by the wave of a hand.

"Goodbye my son, my daughter" she said distantly as the scenery changed before them both. In the blink of an eye, they were in the northern grounds of the palace. It was quiet. In a now peaceful way, no tension was felt just pure calm, the skies were clear as ever to anyone outside of the kingdom it would look like there was never an attack but everyone knew.







"Things will be different from now on. You're no longer a simple girl on the streets. You are now a queen over all mythical creatures. You are now my equal and the future of this pack and this kingdom is now our responsibility. If it gets too much for you, please tell me. We have to be open to each other be there for each other. He growled lowly with a smirk on his lips as he roughly pulls her against his chest. "You just made him the happiest wolf alive. "Well, it's about time you two showed up. I think Emma is about to start the celebrations without y'all" Noah called out to them as he walked out of the castle's side door. Caiden rolled his eyes knowing that his mother would surely do that.
