Chapter 64

Deep down, Katherine felt like exploding. She wanted to shout at him but then, what would people take her for. A mad lady? And while she looked angrily at his direction, he just waved and zoomed off. What kind of human was she in the fight with. Honestly, he was good. Extremely good with his moves. Katherine already felt exhausted from all the drama and the twist, she walked up to her car and paused a while, then gave out a deep breath before entering the car.

'What happened?" the driver asked as he noticed her mood.

"It is nothing. I am fine. Just drive to the police station. I need to know what's going on there." Katherine urged and relaxed her head on the car seat.

Asking if she was scared? Yes! Her fear was getting bigger. The flash back of what happened during the meeting. How ken presented everything, even how Rex got arrested and dragged out of the meeting room. She never thought in her life that Rex would be out so quickly. It wasn't up to an hour he left the company with the police men. Who is Rex and how come he has so much authority and to every, he is like a God. A no ordinary man.

'We are here!" The driver mentioned as he saw how carried away she looked. She didn't know they were actually at the front of the police station. They were few police men outside the building and there eyes glance around as he drove in.

'Where?" Katherine asked as she almost forgot everything.

'The police station." The driver reminded her. She then pitched herself to stay comported.

'Oh, i almost forgot. I shouldn't be thinking of him too much. I should focus more on correcting all this errors. But how and where did ken get the video from? I need to know what next to do. All this is really driving me insane." She thought inwardly while rubbing her forehead. She was beginning to get headache.

Katherine opened the car and got out. She walked straight to the door and walked up to the first police officer she came in contact with.

'Please I am Miss Katherine Medlock, my secretary Lan was arrested not long ago. He was sent to this station." Katherine said.

'Okay. You have to wait. The Commissioner of Police is still inside. We are sorry but you can't see him now. Maybe later in the day or tomorrow." The officer uttered and it made her more angrier. She hate to wait. She thought of an idea. If Rex can influence the Commissioner to work with him, then she can also. She has the money and authority too. She was also capable

'I want to meet with the Commissioner of Police. Tell him I do wish to have a word with him." Katherine had just finished when she heard a voice from behind.

'What for Miss Katherine?" The commissioner's voice was heard as he walked up to where she stood with the police officer she was talking to.

'I wish to talk with you concerning my secretary." Katherine spoke fearlessly. Though she was a bit scared but it didn't matter, 'How much did he pay you?" She asked.

The commissioner wasn't stupid, he knew exactly who Katherine was referring to. He was annoyed with her question. She lacked manners and it irritated him. Only if she wasn't a woman, he would have given a blow straight to the face. How dare she try to humiliate him in front of everyone by asking such question.

Honestly, Rex did not pay him a dim. He was called to investigate the man and that was lawful. It was because of the respect he has on Rex that made him obey his every order. That young man was wealthy but not a criminal.

Katherine however knew what she said was totally rude and disrespectful but, she cared less about that. After all, she has the money and can control anyone like Rex. At least, that was what she thought.

'Miss Katherine, if I were you, i will mind how i talk. Your secretary already confessed and luckily, he said you had no clue about it. So would you excuse me, I have more important things to do than just stand here." He looked her up and down before walking out. Obviously, he was vexed. She talked with no respect. Heavens saved her with a feminine body.

Before Katherine arrived at the police station. The Commissioner had ken taken to the interrogation room immediately. There he was handcuffed and forced to tell the truth of which he did. He also mentioned the person who helped him make the video. He always hated Rex and when he got told about the meeting, he thought of it as a great idea to ruin Rex's reputation but too bad for him as it didn't end well.

'Are you sure, you are not trying to protect her because if you are. I will fish it out and make sure you you suffer even more with her." The commissioner paused and turned to the other officers, 'You all heard his confession. Go and get me those monsters while I call Rex to give him the news." He finished and the officers saluted.

While the Commissioner of Police was leaving, Katherine couldn't believe what she heard. So truly, ken did dirty to help her. But, how was she going to help him out. For sure, Rex was going to use this against her. He would drag her to the mud and won't rest until her clothes get dirty. She had to do something. At least, talk the Commissioner to release him. So, she ran after him. She was already tired and her legs ached in the heels.
"I see." he eyed me for a while before opening the door for me. I nodded a thank you and stepped inside, as my eyes adjusted, my jaw dropped from the sheer sight of the view before me—both out of awe and out of fear. In awe, because this training room was indeed filled with many great facilities, to the right was a ring for sparring, and to the left was a full gym for strengthening. The most fascinating training facility was the pole-like bars, in the form of X and T, running down the ceiling to the ground with cuffs and chains at each point of it. It was incredible

"What the hell is that for?" I internally asked myself.

And I was scared because why not, I 'l be training without Theodore for the first time since we started so I guess it was natural right? I wasn't sweaty palms with shaky breath kind of scared. I was doing good.

Just inside the door to the right, I could see a group of four men training, they were sparring while being observed by a tall younger male. He would bark out a position and they would begin to fight, changing whenever he would command a change in position. I watched as the intensity slowly built and before long, the fight was down to three on one. The one jumped to fight off one and I realized it was Stellan. One lunged for him but he easily slid away while another struck his back hard. He staggered but quickly jumped to face them, wrenching them to the ground and avoiding a direct hit before kicking the legs out from under the third. His movements were quick and precise, and he made them land exactly where he wanted them to. The observer finally called for them to break and the three used that as an opportunity to go for water and rest. One of the guys walked toward me and initiated a conversation I didn't particularly like. Thankfully Stellan caught my eyes and saw the discomfort in them and began to walk toward me with a small smile.

"Hey" he greeted. He barely seemed out of breath

"Hi" I responded

"You're here to train or watch us train?"

"I'd say both"

"Okay, come. I'll bring you to Violet" he said not for half a second regarding the other trainer "if you'd excuse us" he said to the other guy, with his hand softly in my lower back, and he swerved me out of there.

"Thank you" I turned and said to him "you were incredible out there" I added.

"Thanks…except one of those dick caught me on the back"

"Yeah, I saw. Does it hurt?"

"Just a little. Where is Theodore" he had some filling in to do in the office?"

"I'll watch you, so those pricks…" he was cut short by Violetsusan's voice.

"If it isn't my favorite female in the world I don't know who this is," Violet said and I smiled. I tucked a stray strand of my hair from my loosening bun behind my ear. She was smiling sweetly at Stellan who wasn't being subtle in reciprocating it. If I hadn't known better I would say that we're the latest of the packsusan's couple.

"And I don't know who this is if it isn't my favorite female in the world," Stellan answered much to my surprise.

Wait! Hold on a second. What in the worldsusan's name did I miss?

"So who got you this time?" Violet asked Stellan with a chuckle.

Lillian scoffed and rolled his eyes. Don't start with me. It was a lucky and unavoidable shot. It was three on one for fuck sakes"


"Mmmm hmmm" she teased "let me have a look," she said to Stellan and he turned his back to her. "It isn't deep. Should get healed soon"

"Or maybe you could make it heal quicker, you know?" Stellan said with a very sultry expression while Violet blushed. I had to blink several times to make sure I was seeing fine. Did Violet just fucking blush? Or was it the effect of the cereal I had this morning for breakfast that was playing a trick on me?

Or maybe the milk was expired and now I was seeing things because Violet doesn't blush. Like never! So why the hell did I see her cheeks turn red?

"Sure come here," she said and Stellan gave his back to her and she began to rain down kisses all over the bruised spot

Oh, man!

"Time to again, gentlemen," the observer said and Stellan turned to look at Violet who was grinning from ear to ear like a Cheshire cat.

"I've got to go kick some ass babes. See ya later" he said and quickly kissed her and that too tenderly. It seemed they both didn't want to break apart or couldn't have enough of each other because what the hell was all the tongue twirling and body slamming for?

Violet giggled as they both broke apart. "See you later White skin," Stellan said, shooting me a military type of salute before he trotted back to the group.

Violet finally took in my shock "is it that much of a shock?" She asked, looking all giddy-giddy and frizzy-breezy.


'Sir, sir!" She called as she ran after him. Her heels made racket as she hurried to meet up. He was just at the entrance when she caught up with him.

The commissioner turned to see who was coming after him and when his eyes met with Katherine, he frowned.

'What do you want? I am in a haste and do not have all the time in the world. Be quick with whatever you have to say." He was trying to calm himself.

'Sir, please, what can be done to bail him. He can't sleep in cell. He is too old to." Katherine tried to convince the Commissioner but he looked even more not interested.

'Sorry Miss, there is absolutely nothing i can do. It is all in Mr. Rex's hand. Since it was all against him and the confession proved it. Mr. Rex will be the best person to ask that. And i guess you know the result already." he looked her up and down before turning to leave. Katherine just watched him walk away. When Rex's name was mentioned, she felt scared. Like her nightmares were coming true. It was the worst feeling ever. What was she going to do? Suddenly, she turned back.
