Romeo' POV

***FIVE DAYS LATER***

I'll wish to end my life for these discrimination I'm passing through, no one loves me and no girl would wish to come near me, all my life I live alone staying faraway from people. I had murdered my father to take up his place as the Alpha when it wasn't yet my time, I was so hungry for power, dominance and popularity that I'd beaten my dad to death after drugging him so he'd be weak. Being weak he was unable to shift or attack me. I ended his life there and the next day, I assumed the status of the Alpha. My pack members discovered what I did, they hated me so much. Anyone that stood up openly against me was killed, I was a ruthless ruler.

The moon goddess struck me dead one day, upon reincarnation she cursed me, I got into the world as an ultima wolf, a rare beast that could cause an ordinary werewolf and human to burn to ashes when angry. Due to my dangerous nature, and the varieties of people that got killed from my furious glances, I built my castle and lived alone. I have my own company and many workers working for me but I rarely go there to avoid being angered. I hate to hurt people. In my house here I make everything automatic. I have no need for a cleaner, cook or maid, I have the highest tech in my castle. I need nothing, the only thing I really need is true love, the heart of a lady.

True love is the only thing that would redeem me. When the moon goddess cursed me, she said to me in the celestial world before my rebirth that nothing would ever cure me except true love. Many ladies have come my way but immediately they know who I am, they run away in fear. It's not possible to hide my identity for long, everyone in the Crescent pack knows me, those who aren't aware of my nature always fall into the hands of people that'd tell them who I am and I end up being ditched.

Since I resurfaced in the world, I've never come across a woman I really liked than that young lady I met at Disney. I felt this same attraction for her at the Alpha's birthday, I wonder who she is. Deep sensations arose in my heart when I kissed her, I couldn't control myself. My wolf has always been truant and radical but immediately I set eyes on her, it calmed. "I want her. I want her. She's our mate," he spoke excitedly.

I wished to find out the identity of this young lady but she was too afraid to speak with me, her fear overwhelmed her with her boyfriend that both couldn't even look me in the eyes.

"Not her boyfriend, but her brother." My wolf snaps, whispering inside me.

"How did you know?"

"Have you forgotten I'm no ordinary wolf but an ultima wolf?"

I laughed at my foolishness, I had forgotten who I was. "Will we ever meet our mate again?"

"Though she's our mate, she won't be our mate till she accepts to be our mate."

I pondered at this confusing statement my wolf was making, "What do you mean?" I waited for its reply but it grew dump. A strong scent hits my nose, it smells like strawberry, honey and roses mixed together. A mate? What could this mean? I've my mate in the person of the girl I met at Disney and do not intend to mingle with any other girl. I believe that one day we will cross paths and sort out her differences, I'll assure her I'll never hurt her.

The scent continues stronger with every single passing second. It must come from the bush, I stare over at the woods from my window. I basically see nothing here. I need to go down and see where this scent is coming from, who could it be? I've found my girl and need no other.

I stepped down the stairs of my lonely castle, I had no one living with me, just me and my wolf. In my previous life I thought that wealth is everything, I thought that when you have money you have everything you need. I was mistaken, greed made me kill my father, after this I realized money is worth nothing if you have a deeper problem that takes away your joy. The moon goddess has submitted me to a situation where my billions cannot buy a woman. Even if I succeed in buying a woman today, I wouldn't be able to buy true love, which is what I need to get my curse lifted, what I need to become an ordinary shifter with no deadly effects.

I step out of my castle, closing the door behind me. "Oh God please make this scent mean something else, I can't afford to lose that girl destined for me at Disney Park." I prayed inside of me as I walked into the woods a few stone throws from my magnificent castle.

Few steps into the woods, I froze. A young blonde lay on the ground almost half-naked, I gawked my eyes all over her body, a voice inside me tells me we've met before. "She's the one, she's our mate!" My jaw dropped, how many mates would I find. Same thing had occurred at Disney Park. "You'll do well to pick her up and take care of her," my wolf, who had decided to play mute for some time, finally said.

The young woman sensed someone's presence around her, she lifted her head slightly turning them towards me, I captured them as she stared at me.

"Aarrghh!" My jaw dropped. "We meet?" I'm so astonished to meet with the girl my heart has been crying for, right after the second meeting at Disney, I hadn't been the same. I got a perfect chance to be redeemed, just hoping she'd agree to be mine. The moon goddess has directly set me on the path to my redemption. It all depends on her now, really hoping she'd not run away this time. I'm so glad to set my eyes on the girl that has been causing me sleepless nights.

"You again?" She muttered in disbelief, she herself must be shocked to see me again but what's she doing here? She just couldn't stay up for a long time, she dropped to the ground. The radiant brown eyes I'd noticed at the park were now weak. She looks so exhausted, this girl has no strength left in her.

"If I take her now, I won't spare the chance to taste her sweetness!" I said to my wolf, who was already ecstatic. It's been up to two years since the last time I'd been with a woman. I gently lifted her from the ground and scurried back into my castle gawking at her cute face and flawless body.
