Chapter 24: Where's the doc?

Sapphire's POV

"You chose the wrong pack to mess with" I say as I cover a rogue's mouth from behind and slowly stab one of my push daggers into the side of his neck. It didn't matter how much he squirmed, his life was over from the moment he stepped onto my pack lands. "Enya, taking them out one by one will take too long. We need to get to lily and find dad," I say as I make my way to the doctor's office. "We don't know what the damage is yet, let's find the doc and then we can go to them," she answers as we stop at the end of the hallway of the 3rd floor. Looking around I see that there's blood smeared on the floor and the walls. I hear one of the room doors open, "there's a supply closet at the end of the hallway, just grab some f--king bandages and bring them to me" I hear one of them yell. I look up at the door in front of me, "SUPPLY CLOSET" I smile as I slip inside and wait for him to come. The moment he pushes the door open and takes a step in, I shove my pesh-kash knife up through the bottom of his jaw, I catch his limp body as he falls forward. I lay him behind the door and wait for the other one to come looking for him. I leave the door to the supply closet open a bit and after five minutes of waiting I hear him grumbling to the supply closet. "What's taking so f--king long?!" he says as he pushes the door open some more and steps in, "why're the li-", I grab him and slit his throat. He falls wide eyed holding his throat and trying to speak, but the only thing that comes out are gurgles and wet gasps. The last thing he sees is my glare of contempt as he closes his eyes. Stepping over his body, I walk to the room they came out of. When I step in, what I see makes my blood boil all over again. In the corner of the room were two young she-wolves, one of them was crying while the other looked like she was barely breathing. They were both exposed and covered in bruises.

I let out a menacing growl and end up scaring the girl. She turns around and starts begging through her tears "please no more, we'll die" she cries out. Closing the door behind me I take off my head mask. "It's me" I say, walking. over to them, "I won't hurt you". Recognizing my voice she looks up and get a good look at her face. Once she looks up, I see that it's Michelle, she would have just turned 21, if I remember correctly. "Alpha Sapphire" she says bursting into tears and trying to get up, I walk over to her and grab the extra sheet from off of the examination bed. It's stained with blood but it's the closest thing I can grab right now. "No, don't move, stay right there" I say as I throw the sheet around her shoulders. I wanted to ask what happened but I knew better, they were taken advantage of and beaten multiple times in this room. I hug her and let her cry a bit as I rub her back. Two minutes later I say to her, "Michelle, I'm sorry I'm so late, i need to know who is that though", taking a deep breath she says it's Nelle. "Nelle?! I ask. Nelle is one of the strong she-wolves and one of my brother's close friends, the last time I checked in with Seb, he told me that Nelle had started at the training school as a defense instructor and was doing well. "What happened to her? Nelle is a defense intructor, who did this to her?" I ask going over to her. "They gave us wolf's bane, first they put it in our food, by the time we realized what was happenening we couldn't connect to our wolves. Then they injected us with more wolfsbane in our necks. For the past 2 days they've been injecting us every 3 hours, those rogues were about to inject us again and...hurt us. Nelle tried to stop them from hurting me again and they beat her unconcious" she says quietly.

I pick Nelle up and take them up to the alpha suite on the 5th floor. Michelle closes the door behind us as I place Nelle on the bed. I walk over to the medicine cabinet, punch in the code and take out a vile of blood cleanser. I put an IV in her and connect the monitors. I bring over the transfuser machine and grab a bag of compatible blood from the private cooler in the room. After setting everything up, I inject some antibiotics into her IV. Then I explain everything to Michelle, "I need you press this button once the IV is empty," I say looking her in the eyes, "At the rate that I set it, it should only take an hour finish. Once it's done just press the start button, it's going to transfuse her blood. That will take another hour at the rate I set it, and she's going to wake up in a lot of pain because it's happening at a quicker rate than usual. Once she's conscious, make her take this," I say handing her 2 tablets, "Only give her 1, the other is for you. It will help you heal and connect back with your wolf, it will cleanse your blood also but it's not as intense as what I gave Nelle. Can you handle all that?" I ask after explaining. "Yes" she answers. "Ok, I'll go get the doc and send him up here. He knows the code to get in here so you just need to sit and wait for him. You can take a shower and grab some clothes. Don't leave and don't open the door for anyone." I say as I leave the room and finally make my way to the doc's office on the first floor.

I took out 3 mor rogues on my way down here. I'm now covered in blood and there's a big guy in front of the door of doc's office. I turn the corner and walk over to him, "Who-", he starts to ask, but I stab him in his temples. He drops to the ground and I push the door open, "Doc-...". As I step in I see a knife coming at me from the corner of my left eye. I duck and grab the attacker's arm, then I take one of my push daggers and ram the blade into his right elbow. He lets out a howling scream, and I cover his mouth, "sshhh, this is a doctor's office" I say as I push my other push dagger into the back of his neck".
